Nothing but problems. These watches are junk and my opinion of Tissot in general is avoid at all costs. My watch had battery problems from day dot and batteries wouldn't last a month and then the watch virtually started falling apart. Numbers fell off the face and started floating around inside the watch. Condensation started to appear inside the… Read more
glass and when Tissot Australia got it back they wanted money to fix a watch that would have been the equivalent of a brand new replacement. It was like an extortion attempt by a bunch of thugs dealing with Tissot now they refuse to return my watch and I've had to report it stolen to police. Scumbags
Tissot is worst watch I own - looks good, but does not keep the correct time. Bloody disgrace a brand this big can keep selling dud products. Show details
Not worth the money – Purchased my Tissot supersport Model T1256172105100 on the 03/01/21 looks and feels great and worked well for the first 3 months. Then I noticed that it fails to keep time. It has been back for repair 3 times now and still not resolved Keep away from this brand of watch not worth the money Show details
Worked for a couple of years then very expensive fix! – I have the chronograph in S/steel. Looks and feels great which is why I bought it. It was working fine for a couple of years (maybe 5) then started to lose time. Replacing battery did not fix the problem. Tissot repair centre near me quoted $350 for a new movement so I went out and bought a new (cheap) watch for $80. New watch is working great! Don’t waste your time or money on this overrated, high maintenance piece of jewellery. Show details
very practical and nice looking watch – I had one for years and it did go through tough times with me, a couple of scratches here and there, then use the polish cloth and it is almost new again, keeps time and easy to use, very good value for money Show details
Amazing watch – Brought mine 17 years ago got 5 years from original battery and get a year out of any battery nowadays. Still to this day does not loose time maybe 5 minutes over a six month period. Accidentally left on the car and went for a drive found it in the road had been driven over still working screen didn't even smash but metal strap is toast. Will be buying another
Good looking, but poor quality – Great looking watch. Started to slow, and have replaced battery twice and still slows by 10mins per day. Have had to replace black leather wriststrap as edges started to fray and peel off! Show details
Disappointing – Great looking watch but stopped working within a year. Took it to be assessed and the changed the battery. Just as t he warranty ran out, it began to lose time and stop started intermittently. Had it assessed again and was told bad luck, out of warranty. $360 for new movement and no discretion of good will being one month out of warranty. Not recommended and the service was quite poor for a quality brand, or so I thought... Show details
tissot dont do crap – Make sure you have a tissot ..I suspect that the majority of tissots sold outside tissot dealers could be hope . There is good money in fakes..Pay or cry. Rolex ??? can be bought for almost nothing..cheap is never cheap .this should not be news .. Show details
Terrible quality watch and even worse customer service – Got Tissot watch for my birthday was happy for about 8 month until they stopped working replaced movement under the warranty was good for another 17 months then started stop and start lagging behind replaced battery no changes contacted Tissot and got a runaround from Sam - customer service Manager not even a last name suggesting to send for… Read more
repair on my dime contacted Switzerland Tissot no reply
My Seiko watch didn’t miss a beat for 16 years and this so called Swiss Brand selling a lemon my advice avoid this brand like a plague
Owned a Tissot PRC 200 for over 10years – One battery replacement In 10 years, perfect in every way, never breaks down, must be a lot of fake watch buyers on here. Btw I own two as well one blue dial and one white dial
Fantastic watch, looks and feels more expensive than it really is – I found it very strange that this watch has so many 1 star reviews from unverified purchases, so I felt compelled to give my opinions on this watch. I have owned the blue dial version since August 2013 and have been very happy with it. It looks fantastic to my eyes and feels far more expensive than it actually is. The design is timeless in my… Read more
opinion and won't go out of fashion anytime soon. I love how the blue dial looks like different shades of blue under different lights. People notice when I am wearing this watch, and it’s design is versatile enough that I can wear it both in the office with a suit and on the weekends in shorts and a polo.
The construction feels very solid and the bracelet is completely unique to Tissot. Unfortunately it is let down by the clasp mechanism which is functional but feels pretty cheap compared to the rest of the watch. Another down side is that the bracelet is an odd size of 19mm wide which makes it difficult to find leather straps that suit. Despite this, I enjoy wearing this watch and have found it to be very reliable, only losing 1 second every month.
A word of warning, Ebay is FLOODED with counterfeit Tissot watches which look surprisingly genuine but break easily. I previously owned one of these counterfeit watches and it broke within a year. If you are considering this watch, I strongly suggest getting it from an Australian retail store.
After 2 years you can just throw it away. Keeps stopping and loosing time, badly – Mine also stopped working properly after 2 years, just after warranty ended. Battery replacement did not help. Watch keeps time only then it is put stationary on the shelf, once I wear it stops completely at times or losses 1-2 hour a day. You would expect this watch to last as watch has sapphire crystal glass and 20 ATM water resistance, but… Read more
once it starts loosing time the only fix is to change the innards which costs almost as much as a new watch. Save your time and money, just look for something else. Watch was bought from official dealer in Italy.

Terrible Watch – Second week I purchased was out of order, fix one problem and starts another one don't go near Tissot worst watch of swiss. Also warranty repairs don't fix anything. This product should be called back total.
Rubbish – This watch is four years old , faulty all the time, every time they fix a fault they expect you to pay for it to be resealed again to make it waterproof at a cost of $280. Would never buy Tissot product again.
Don't last more than 4 years of light use – I have bought from new TWO Tissot PRC 200 thinking that the second could not fail like the first one. But alas, the second one has crashed in FOUR years as well. Professional watchrepairers will not touch them. The first thing to go wrong are the second and minute timers....they will not reset to zero. Next, the bezel will not lock and then the… Read more
watch just goes stops and starts... making life very difficult. These watched are marketed as premium but they are in reality cheap under a nice appearance.Costing around 600 dollars it is a bitterly disappointing experience.
Great Looking Watch - Terrible Movement – I have owned two of these. The first one stopped working after just 2 years (& Warranty). I bought a second as I thought it was a random defect. The same thing happened!! Replacing the battery and vibration seems to fix the issue for a while but it stops working intermittently. Disgraceful for the money you pay for this watch!
Tissot prc200 – Anniversary gift Lasted 18 months to first battery change worked fine until then then started losing time and randomly stopping. Next 2 batteries lasted 12 months or less same issues. Then stopped completely. Battery change did not restart it needed whole new movement $180. What a piece of crap. Swatch wanted nothing to do with it. My $30… Read more
casio is 30 years old and works flawlessly needing battery every 4 years on average.
Recommend NOT to buy tissot.
Tissot PRC 200 – A very expensive piece of crap. Looked great and behaved well until the first battery change. Now the movement stops at will. Jewellers are asking $200 + to replace a $40 internal part (brand is owned by Swatch and it appears that the internals are cheap to match). This is my first and last Tissot.
Lasted only 2 years – Lasted only 2 years. Hour and minute hands stopped working. Took it to a Tissot repair shop in culver city and they want $190 to fix it. Never buying a tissot/swatch watch again.
Love this watch – This is my second PRC200, the first one was a Christmas gift from my wife 5 years ago. I lost it in the garden after 5 years of daily service & two new batteries. I had to get the latest model to replace the old one, it's only slightly different though, just some cosmetic changes and a different latch system. It's a very high quality watch… Read more
inside and out. I think those complaining about quality issues probably bought fakes. The market is flooded with them and they are very convincing down to the packaging. Buy from an official Tissot dealer only, or chances are it will be fake.
Problems with movement – Lovely looking watch but worst performer in my large collection of watches. Just out of warranty and only worn 4 times. Watch did not keep time so the battery was replaced. Now it appears that the movement stops infrequently and looses time requiring complete replacement. Considering to throw it in the bin and stick to my other watches that… Read more
actually work including Cartier and Omega watches. Pity as this watch was a gift from my friends for my 60th and they were under the impression that Tissot made excellent Swiss watches. From what I read, Swatch service is terrible so I might just forget about any repairs. Please note that this watch was purchased from a well known store in Australia and is absolutely not a fake - just a nice looking piece of rubbish.

Doesn't stop losing time – Since day 2 this has lost time. The first time it was 2 hours. I thought maybe I set the time wrong. That was a Sunday. I reset it, by Monday it was down again. I took it back to where I purchased it, they kept it for the night and said there was nothing wrong with it. Over the next 3 weeks it happened multiple times including looking at… Read more
the watch and it was an hour off then a minute later it was fine. Then the bezel fell off so I took it in to get repaired. They sent it to Swatch Group who replaced the bezel and looked at movement, saying that it is fine. That took 4 weeks.
So I get it back and it performs for about 2 weeks. Then it loses time again, and again, and again. I noticed it out 2 hours and 45 minutes at 630 one morning so thought I would leave it to show the place of purchase. At work I kept looking at my watch for the time so corrected it at 1030 only for it to be behind by 45 minutes an hour later.
I took out back in, and off it goes to Swatch again. This time they replace the whole movement, getting a new one in from Switzerland. Another 3 weeks. I get it yesterday like new apparently, this morning, out by 20 minutes.
I will be going back in today to demand a refund. This shouldn't happen with a watch that costs $600. I have Skagen, a 1970s Seiko, Nixon and Fossil, all worn in the same way and sit on the same shelf at home, and never once have I had a problem with them.
I certainly wouldn't recommend Tissot to anyone and would not buy again, as much as I love the style of this watch.
Poorest customer service – Received the watch for my engagement and around 3 years later the watch fails to function effectively. I wrote to Tissot and they advised that it may had been a little now out of warranty. They failed any goodwill and when I spoke to 'Sam' the supervisor, her response was 'well your watch is around 3 years old'.. Where is the good old days where items functioned for a REASONABLE period of time. Now I am waiting for the manager to call n back.
Great watch – The Tissot PRC200 is a fantastic entry level Swiss watch. I bought the stainless steel bracelet version for around $500 aus. I then bought a nice leather strap and Tissot clasp on eBay, don't do it the other way around. I like the contrast of the yellow second hands against the black face. The stainless bracelet is very attractive. I'm not sure… Read more
I'd swim with this watch, but that's not what I bought it for. It is a quartz watch so I don't have to worry about setting the time if I haven't worn it in a while like my automatic watch. We bought my wife a Tissot when we visited Switzerland, hers is an auto. Great entry level Swiss watch.
Extremely dissatisfied – On 6 Oct 2011 I decided to purchase a watch after 20 yrs of not having one. Looking at many different brands I told the jeweler that I was after a watch I could wear to work and knock around and get wet and still be able to wear out. The lady said the Tissot PRC-200 was the watch for me. On the 5th Jan 2012 (almost 3mths) I took my Tissot back to… Read more
the jewelers... The screen had fogged up with water...badly (it was only ever splashed with water never immersed) and the battery had apparently gone flat as the second hand sped around its face at high speed before stopping completely. The jeweler told me that they would have to send the watch back to Tissot and it would take 4-6 weeks. It's now been 9 weeks since I took my watch back and haven't heard 1 thing back from either Tissot or the jeweler to the point where I sent my wife in to find out what is going on. Apparently the watch is being fixed which is very disappointing as it has now been water damaged and i'll always worry that it will corrode inside and never be the same. I would've thought that a company that's been around since the 1850's would have better customer service skills. I'll never purchase another Tissot and I'll advise others the same....
Bad warranty service. Watch didn't last 3 months

Excellent – Have a look at your local Jeweller shop and try one on! The Tissot brand offers great value and I do love their extensive model range. It is simply a beautiful timepiece, classic design chronograph the yellow chrono marker and the two smaller yellow markers in the top subdials really set off the design. I bought the model with the black dial,… Read more · 2
although the silver dial and the blue models also look fantastic It was hard to choose. This certainly will not be the only Tissot watch I will be buying. I also enjoyed reading the booklet that came with the watch telling us all about the 150 year history of the Tissot company. The presentation box, along with catalogue was also tops. I have now 5 watches in my small collection, the first one I purchased was a Raymond Weil Time piece back in 1983...... and it is still going strong, despite once having dropped it accidently in the sink when doing the dishes. And I have a couple of Swatch Irony watches, and a Citizen chrono. Ther aren't any
