Don’t buy one – I bought on thinking it would be a long term watch. Sadly very disappointing the bezel is flimsy and not well attached. The sensor are not accurate at all. Better watches around for less $

The Angry Ant... Warning...Warning...Danger...Danger...Don't buy----tissot Touch Watch...matt – I've read the reviews for this Tissot Touch watch and I totally agree with every comment made about these watches behaving very badly especially in getting the battery changed...then the game of "spin doctoring" starts of telling you "Tissot expects their watches to fail as they need servicing every 4 years etc" so the reply I got from one Lady of… Read more

Customer Relations Service from Victoria when emailing them of my complaint!

I bought 2 touch watches...both battery replacements and both needed a complete "gut removal to the new version"...got the "guts in a plastic bag...4 years later I need a battery replacement...hello..$557 dollars to replace the "guts" again...Nooo says I...just put the battery in it and send it back...hence an expensive looking watch sitting on my table!

I collect watches...I have 24 from Seiko's, Citizens, Casio, G-Shock Casio, Roamer, Asus Digital, Festiva, "The One" a binary watch, Ripcurl and a Skagen...the only price these watches cost me was the price of a battery from $15-$40 including a pressure test...these 2 Tissots around $1145 to replace a batteries and service!!

Dear friends...Stay away from tissot watches...Tell your friends, relatives and if you want to get back at your enemies tell them to buy one!!

Tissot not worth it – I have purchased 2 Tissot watches in the past 12 months and had issues with both. The 2nd purchase 4 weeks back was a T Touch watch, immediately sent back to have the battery repaired and the touch features are misleading. The Thermo only works if you remove the timepiece from your wrist for 15 minutes, on your wrist it is influenced by body temp,… Read more

this was not how it was sold as a feature. The Altmeter feature s not working accurately, in the same position on my front lawn one day to the next I can be between 7 & 85meters above sea level, amazing!

Even the repair centre are not clear on the functions and how they work.

The first watch (12 months old) has lost a couple of minutes every week or so, it has now been in the repair centre for two weeks.

Premium price, budget quality!

No support when you Tissot Touich Breaks – Don't by a Tissot Touch watch. When invariably the touch function ceases to work (through no fault of the user) you will discover that it can't be fixed, local watchmakers won't touch it and you will need to pay Swatch to send it back to Switzerland and then also pay to exchange for the latest model. Why throw good money after bad. The Tissot… Read more

watch is a good product but it just doesn't last and the local Australian Tissot representative (swatch) can't fix it for you. I went and bough a Mudman as a replacement instead.

Junk! – I'm on my second Touch watch after I was told there are no parts for the original which needed calibration. I 'fell' for the 50% discount offer for a replacement watch thinking I have just had back luck with the first one. Now, after 2 years the next battery has gone flat and the watch needs calibration again as the hands do not point to the… Read more

correct hour mark! It is nearly impossible to read the time! And the problem began within a few weeks of wearing the 'new' watch. Again, I have to send it away to Melbourne for someone to service it because the local watch repairers won't touch it. 2 weeks with out the watch and hundreds of dollars in service fees. I'll never buy Tissot again. So disappointing after all the advertising hype and the good looking design.

No Comment – I bought a Tissot watch about 2 months ago from TBC Egypt, and since day one I am facing multiple issues: - the stop watch buttons are not working - the watch need to be charged every day I went to the store to have it replaced or exchanged for another model and they refused and insist on “fixing it” I should not spend this much money on a watch,… Read more

just to have it refurbished and fixed few weeks after the purchase and feel I bought a used product.

I appreciate your support and cooperation asking that company to fully replace my watch with a brand new one, or fully refund my purchase, and I will buy another brand that would value their customers and go the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied with the product.

The answer from the biggest company 

After discussion about this issue with the customer service manager in Egypt, we have been confirmed that your watch shows some external damages. As it is stipulated on the warranty booklet, your international warranty is valid worldwide and two years from the purchase’s date however this manufacturer’s warranty does not cover :

- The life of the battery

- Normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration oft he colour and / or material of the non-metallic straps and chain, such as leather’s, texile rubber, peeling of the plating)

- Any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal / abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents, (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc)…

We regret we cannot assist for the watch’s replacement, and thank you for your understanding.

NEVER buy a Tissot T-Touch Expert! – Let me explain why. I bought my T-Touch a little over six years ago. At first, I loved it. It is a good looking watch, and the functions were pretty cool. But then, a little after 2 years of having the watch, the battery went flat. That’s fine, it happens. However, ONLY Tissot can replace the battery. That cost me $120 and I had to send the… Read more

watch away to get done. It took 2 weeks. 2 weeks without the watch. About a year later, the rubber watchband snapped at the joint with the watch. A replacement band was appox $100. A little over 3 years on (just recently) the battery went dead again. So, knowing the drill, I sent the watch off again to get the battery replaced. This time I am told it also needs a service, total cost $485! This is a $1,200 watch. The servicing will cost over 40% of the original cost! Imagine if you had to pay 40% of the original cost to service your car! What’s worse is that I have read on forums it is due to Tissot needing to replace known faulty parts. Tissot should be paying for this! Why don’t they consider this a recall? So, the moral of the story is, DO NOT buy this watch. Mine is now an expensive paper weight, which I am happy to give to anyone for free if they really want it. Please PM me.

Poor Quality Rip Off. For The Price You Pay, The Watch is a Scam And a Waste Of Money – This Tissot T-Touch was bought 6 years ago and in 2011 had the battery and seals replaced and warranty repairs performed by the Swatch service centre in Melbourne after 18 months of operation. Now, 4 years later, the watch was sent to the Swatch service centre to have the battery replaced again. The quote they gave me was A$ 440 for a complete… Read more

service and replacement of parts including the movement and crystal sapphire glass. Before the battery died, the watch was working perfectly and I did not have any issues with it. When questioning this quote, the service centre told me that without the proposed work the watch will not work after only replacement of the battery. Considering that I did not swim, shower or dive with this watch and in general looked after it, I find it astonishing that the movement is to be replaced in a watch for which I paid about A$ 1,300 in 2009. I was basically told that without this repair the watch is junk and that replacing the battery only is a waste of money. Needless to say that I am very disappointed in Tissot/Swatch although I like the features on this watch.

Another issue that came up in the conversation with the service centre was that they told me that Tissot/Swatch recommend that the watch is sent in for a general service/check up every 12 to 18 months. This was news to me and certainly was not communicated before, considering that this watch had already been serviced by them in 2011 and such recommendations should have been made then. It seems to me that they will try on any excuse for their poor quality on my purported disregard for regular servicing: how convenient and poor form. My recommendation: do not buy this watch unless you do not mind junking it after 6 years.

$600 rubbish – Let's keep this short, shall we? This brand of watch is a complete joke. I think it's reasonable to expect that a watch that cost $600 or so bucks, should work occasionally. This piece of junk would stop at random times and need continual resetting. One jeweller charged me 20 bucks for a new battery, and the next jeweller said it had no battery???… Read more

Love this watch – I bought my older generation Tissot 10yrs ago. Had a few issues with the compass and then display went. Got repaired and new battery and was about $200. The repairs all warranted. Under 12moinths later, went back in for same issue, theyreplaved all the internals. Then 11 months later again. Tissot said they had no more parts to fix the watch… Read more

and had replaced all the internals last time. Seeing as the repairs were still under warranty, they replaced the entire watch for the new model, matching as best they could between models, for no cost.

I cant fault service or warranty, new model been going strong for over 5 years.

I will definitely buy Tissot again.

Rubbish – My T-Touch is going in the bin! I have had to take it for repairs on a couple of occasions. Each time costing me almost as much as what I originally paid for the watch. The last straw was when the minute hand just fell off for no reason.

Terrible – Great features but it will stop working and when it does it costs a lot to repair. The only guarantee with the repair it that you will pay a lot even if they cannot fix it. Buy simething else.

Tissot T touch no way – Thought I had made the right choice and Mazzucelli sales promised the world. After 2 and a half years battery went flat. Took to local jeweller and he changed battery. Watch functions now do not work. Took back to Mazzucelli's and now after several months they have informed me it will cost me $500 to fix. They have informed me that the Jeweller I… Read more

took the watch to was not qualified to work on the watch. This I find absurd because I checked his qualifications prior to working on the watch. He was a qualified Jeweller, saw certificates.

Mazzucelli informed me that Tissot would not help as warranty expired 6 months earlier.

For the money you pay for this type of watch you would think either the Jeweller it was purchased from or Tissot would help out. Will never buy a Tissot again nor shop at Mazzacelli Jewellers.

I do believe after reading reviews that the Tissot Touch has issues and manufacturer and supplier washing their hands. Looks Lack of support for expensive watch and poor customer support

Catastrophic Failure – My first watch, saved up for 2 months and bought the brushed titanium version with mother-of-pearl face, beautiful watch. Quickly problems occurred, minute hand wrongly positioned, digital display giving incomplete information, tactile functions failing then catastrophic failure, now it doesn't even turn on. Deeply disappointed, now it's just… Read more

beautiful junk. Appearance, when working it's features are great, seemingly good value at first. The watch is inherently faulty, it is poorly made and Tissot no longer have the ability to repair it rendering it ornamental. For a watch that was sold as being supremely functional it's a bitter irony.

No No No to this watch!!! – Only wore the watch for 5 days (haven't even started rough outdoor activities) the bazel dropped. Original Battery Replacement after 5 years – Went to replace the battery of my T-Touch for the first time after 5 years of purchase. Replaced one month ago & no issues so far. Terrible – For the price I paid for this watch I would have expected it to last longer than around 12 months, but it hasn't. The watch just turns off randomly, it doesn't like warm weather (turns itself off if left in the sun) and on occassions the watch goes much faster than it should. Wish I had read the reviews – 2.5 years in, and battery goes, send off, and now 6 months later Tissot saying they don't make this version anymore, have no spare parts and won't repair. The other reviews are correct do not buy a Tissot full stop, as if anything goes wrong, they do not care. Nice watch when it works When it doesn't you are left with a $800 lump of Titanium.

Great idea, but it doesn't work! – I fell in love with this watch but after about 6 months it stopped working. It has been in for repair 7 times. I have spent more repairing it than it cost me. I have had a couple of warranty repairs but the watch continually fails and is not working now. I would not buy Tissot again without first checking reviews like this. The features, compass etc and the touch control was very cool! Continual break downs and expensive repairs.

Terrible – Do not buy this watch! The fancy features are not worth the time and expense of continually getting it repaired. Opened the battery compartment to replace the… Read more

battery and found the battery contact had corroded through. Sent it to Swatch Group and they quoted $360 to repair. That's $120 per year to own this watch. This watch is absolute [censored word removed], DO NOT BUY! Service is dismal. Swatch Group are arrogant and unhelpful.

Terrible – Absolute crap. Now been back to Tissot (Swatch) 5 times in four years. Functions don't work, buttons fell off and now the hour hand is three hours fast. No service and no support. ***** WARNING - DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE - I HAVE HEARD SIMILAR STORIES FROM PEOPLE I HAVE SEEN WEARING THEM. Looks good and is light on the wrist Doesn't work.

OK – The faulty altimeter is disappointing. For this price buy the best mobile phone, with all the functions of this watch plus 100s more... After 4 years it is still working! Altimeter stopped working after a year...
