Performance pics included for your veiwing pleasure, you be the judge XT-028 TOMCAT 3xAAA bat 6xLED Pocket Torch When it arrived whilst it looked the part it did not work at all. Earthing the battery pack showed the switch was the 1st problem, rebuilding the switch allowed the torch to turn on mostly, half power sometimes and not at all every 3rd or 4th time, even when working the light eminating from the 6 LED's is a fairly dim light with a bluish hue and with a level dimpled reflector is quite a diffuse beam only lighting your immediate area, note: on the same night I purchased an Olight key ring single AAA single led torch for half the price which had a much brighter whiter light with 3x the usable length beam at 15 paces. My advice is don't waste your money on this classic example of Chinese craftsmanship. Edit: my neighbour has the identical Eveready torch that the tomcat casing appears to be copied from with the same 3x AAA battery cage but a single led instead of six so thought I would line them up and take a pic, $9.99 free postage eBay Olight on the left, $5 from Woolies Eveready centre, $8.45 + $9.90 postage Chinese Tomcat on the right, and you be the judge.

Purchased in at Everything caravan and camping for $18.35.

Great Torches and Flash lights – I purchased two torches from adultshopping.com.au a Tomcat 5.5 1w LED Metal Torch, its super bright made of strong metal using AAA batteries, also purchased a Camelion 6 Volt LED Flash Light in safety yellow. Both are LEDs and very good, batteries are supplied with the torches, unusual to purchase from a adult site Durability plenty of light and price
