Let down – Aluminium clasp is not up to the task on this collar. Broke within about a couple of weeks after purchase. The clasp end that holds the two collar ends together are thin and flimsy, despite the collar itself being durable.
Purchased in at Woolworths Physical store for $20.
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS COLLAR – I am writing this review after my dog being rushed by two dogs today whilst walking my dog 'on lead' and with large PURINA TOTAL CARE collar fitted . Up until now I have been quite satisfied with the collar's fit and finish . HOWEVER , when my dog was rushed this morning , he has become boisterous (he is a 52 kg Dane /Mastiff mix ) I have grabbed the collar in the most likely place that presented itself , where the lead is attached , however , this is also right next to where the quick release clip is located , so whilst trying to restrain my dog grabbing the collar , this has also squeezed the quick release buckle thereby setting my dog free to run off ! Total chaos has then ensued . SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND , if looking at this type of collar . Collar was purchased from Woolies , I can't remember exactly , it was a few months ago now . I will be replacing with a traditional leather collar that cannot unbuckle like a PURINA one .
