Liked it so much I've purchased 11 – Brilliant device. Turns any powerpoint into a smart one. App works well with several settings for power usage monitoring; triggering/scheduling; power protection. I have 11 plugs across my house to load shift (have solar); power off standby devices overnight; and control on/off for fans/aircons. Show details

Not worth the money – Bought 3 of these just over 12 months ago and I've had 2 fail already. Can't turn on. Reset them, got them to work but constantly flash on and off twice a second. Tried everything I've read online. Even widgets on smart phone don't work. I get a spinning circle Turning it on or off. For me, I will pass buying this product in future. Show details
Keeping up with Technology!!! – I love my tapo plugs. At night I just tap my phone and the lamp in my lounge room comes on! I’m elderly and it prevents me from having a fall in the dark as the switch to turn the lights on are at the other end of the room. And a big thank you to Rosine Liu from TP Services for helping me connect my plugs over the phone. Her customer service skills are outstanding along with patience, which will go a long way for her. It’s super useful and I’ve used mine for a few different things now. I wanted to… Read more
get a sense of how much power some things were using after moving into a new house at the start of the year.
The first thing was an outdoor fish pond pump which we’ve ended up leaving running due to this plug highlighting how little power it uses. I’ve tried also with some old lamps but most recently over the past few months with an old chest freezer. The app will show how much power it’s using and graph out over the day, month and year.
