I paid more than what actually pumped, they didn't refund the difference. They state that they refund the balance, but didn't. Show details
Filled up at ugo deer park. Within half an hour the car was running really rough and lacking power. Had car booked in for service. They couldn't find anything wrong with the car and suggested it was probably dirty fuel. Recommended I put octane booster in tank and run the tank dry before refilling. After putting octane booster the was still… Read more
running very badly . Next day I drained all fuel from the tank. After sitting in the bucket for about 24 hours the fuel turned black. I put another 5lt of fuel from another servo in with some octane booster. I ran it almost dry and was still running poorly. Then I put another 10 litres in with some fuel system cleaner. Still bad.At this stage the car was almost undrivable. Not game enough to try driving to my regular mechanic I took the car to ultratune and now ( almost $2000 later) my car has a new catalytic converter and is running perfectly well. I originally reported this issue to the ugo feedback line and was told that they would have the pump that I used checked. It took almost a month to get back to me and tell me there were no issues with the quality of the fuel coming from the pump in question. Maybe what happened to my car was just a coincidence. Draw your own conclusions.
Do not buy from UGO!!doubled charged me and when complained blamed my bank and told take it up with them. Appears to be the same double charging as others reported.
Can't give zero stars... Double charged for fuel...it's dear enough without getting charged twice...was told to chase it up with my bank Show details
If you pay more than what you actually pumped, they don’t refund the difference. They just keep it. They state that they do refund, but they actually don’t. Show details
It's just a rip off. The fuel doesn't come out until the money is 2 to $3 into it and then the fuel stops coming out $2-$3 before it reaches the price that U paid, ️ ITS A RIP OFF!!
Never again. paid for $100.00 Used $100.00 Got charged twice. Nothing buts shonks. See many others also getting charged multiple times. Let all your friends know how shonky they are. Show details
Hi everyone I have purchased on the 27 of November 2025 petrol from Coburg petrol station they took $60 from my card and the pump did not give any petrol it was a weekend so I rang on Monday and I spoke to someone regarding this problem they said we refund you in couple of days up till now I did not get my refund and nobody contacted me everyone to be aware of these petrol stations
System is easy enough to use, and the correct amount was charged to my card at Cleveland. However, the fuel consumption was much higher than usual. Show details
Stopped here at Braken Ridge QLD to fill my Harley and engine light came on straight away and wasn’t on before i left work! It’s an indication of BAD FUEL you might think you’re putting in 98 premium but I think these fuel stations are dodgy and rip you off with garbage fuel. Siphoned out the rubbish and topped up with 7/11 98 premium and wellhaaa! Check engine light was gone!! Do yourself a favour for your bike or car and go somewhere else…
When I turn my car on, the smell of gas is so over bearing. Could it be from using the 98 fuel from UGo at Baulkham hills!??️ Show details
Charged my card 3 times for one use, owing me $200. Never using again.
Pumbed fuel at U-Go other side of Liverpool 1 morning, l think it took 5 minutes to put in $20 worth, did not bother putting in the full $60 worth. This afternoon l pumped $60 worth and pump was good but l noticed they fauls advitis the price they show and what you pay at the pump. Show details

No refund? I thought it would be returned automatically? That doesn't appear to be the case. I was wrong. Show details
I feel like it's pumping less than what you pay for.
On 3rd April this year, 2025, at Raymond Terrace NSW I prepaid $50 for fuel and pumped $40. I'm owed $10 by U-GO. It is now 7th of May and am still waiting for my $10 refund. Non-Refunding for a dollar or two has happened before and I let it go. Not this time. Take great care if you have to purchase here. Expect no refund so always buy less… Read more

Hello Everybody, The Team at U Go Fuel seem unaware that some 900 plus people have looked at this and that it may be negatively impacting the perception of their business. It is now September 11, 2025 and as far as I am aware, no follow up of this review has taken place. U-Go appears to want to retain the funds? This does not seem reasonable and from a business perspective, does not seem rational. U Go Team, any thoughts? Any response please? John
Went to U Go Bonnyrigg and placed an order for $62 and pumped $62. Checked my account the next day and 3 lots of $62 was taken out. The Reversal which was meant to put the initial authorisation for $62 back in took it out again. Is this not financial fraud as I was charges $186 for $62 worth of Fuel?? I was told I may have to wait 3 days for this… Read more
to correct - lets see. If I don't get it back I'll be raising this issue and not frequenting u go again
OVERCHARGED NO REFUND – If you pre authorize more than required, trying to get the credit repaid is very difficult if not impossible. U_Go suggest I chase my bank for it. Should be a refund on the card at the point of purchase.
Worst experience – First time customer. Authorised $50 fuel which I used. Wake up today and see x3 lots of $50 have been taken out. Of course their not open weekends and Monday a public holiday, so no contact till Tuesday. Absolutely ridiculous service, if I authorised an amount how can they take more
Poor quality fuel – I only went twice, as I liked the concept and convenience of just buying fuel and not waiting . Dont take my word for it, could be just my experience. I found that after the second fill up, I was having very poor fuel mileage, like 100kms less range to full tank and also my car is now idling rough at times, intermittently. Then I went back to a… Read more
normal petrol station and magically I got my great economy back and the rough idle stopped. Hmmmmmmmm. Could it be bad quality fuel they are using to give you good price. ? For the sake of saving a few cents per litre im not going for u go fuels. Stick to the major players.
This business is slow to refund. Wheres my refund ? – On 3 Oct, I used my card to purchase fuel. Customers are advised to enter a dollar value, then if you spendless than estimated, the balance will be refunded to your account within three business days. I entered an amount of $130 but only used $107.51 to fill the tank. 23 days later, I'm still waiting for 'my' money, 'my' credit of $22.49 to… Read more
arrive in my bank account. My advice is to only use this business if desperate and definitely check your account for any refunds for fuel not used.
Takes more $$ from your bank than you authorise at fuel pump – We just used their card only pre-pay fuel outlet at Raymond Terrace NSW. Authorised & pumped $50 fuel into car but its taken $150 from the bank account (three lots of $50). Their customer service line closed for the day (operates office hrs only) so now we have to chase for refund of $100. Their Facebook site has other people telling similar stories. We won't be using them again. Not impressed.
Shhh.....I dont want to tell you – I was a Woolies Ampol petrol buyer of 98 grade until the closure of the Seven Hills Rd outlet. I went to BP and if anything, subjectively felt it was up to or better. But dearer as its not Woolies. However, the temptation of the new outlet of U Go at the same site finally caused me to try it. The same grade 98 Octane. The card Pre pay system… Read more
works easily and I'm converted ! But how about the petrol?? Could iy be trusted? Where does our supply come from? Well, the net says that there's only a couple of suppliers anyway. I won't get into that side of the debate. My son had just paid $2.51 a litre elsewhere for a major brand and my cost on the day at U Go was $2.01 !.......50c a litre cheaper. Its since (2 weeks) gone up a cent. So, I have a Renault Captur <1.3 Turbo>, new three years ago and it is a great car. On board is a system for multiple features including economy. I'm quite familiar with using it for checking. So, what was the result? I haven't detected any change in power, smoothness or operation. Close short runs around my area and one longer M2 trip to the north beach area resulted in an average (by its computer) of 6.4L/100km (44 mpg UK Imp) !! No change there. Hey, it might even be better ! This no shop/no money outlet saves on staff obviously and its such a huge saving that I won't be going back to Brand petrols, that are probably the same anyway. ((PS....My local Bank is closing next month so we'll all be talking to ourselves soon and as for jobs........))
