Hi. I was a member, paying $19.90 fee fortnightly. I loved the idea of being able to access financial assistance, at ease within the Ubomi app & access to various resources, is a bonus... (Without going through the painstakingly, time consuming credit check nonsense & exposure of all personal details..Only to be declined with an X against my name!) BUT whether I logged in via Ubomi App or website & numerous calls for answers from customer service agents - No one could fix the issues, Being: no account information was available or updated, no data showing my ticket numbers or records of the weekly competitions I was Supposedly in for a chance of wins. I could access Ucash? Only amanzica which I was grateful for, but the amount was small & the loan is not increasable or redrawable. I was able to cancel membership, (I'm sure I phoned them first & then an email to confirm my request in writing to cancel, once my loan was repaid ($20 fortnight X 10wks) + ($19.90 fortnight membership fee). If your app & website worked. & Loans were able to be increased each time repaid as required - Id consider coming back

@harryy233 I would stay away from Ubomi if I were you. The monthly fee they will charge you plus the interest is a rip off. The monthly fee will be debited from your account even after you paid your loan. And if you cancel it, there's 28 days cancellation period. Try MyPay instead

Your app doesn't work, your website is unusable, you have to log in every5 seconds. Why do.you make it so difficult. I've had 2 ucash loans and canceled the subscription but I can't find my contract or repayment information anywhere.

If you have confidence you are providing a working product with reasonable fees and charges you should have no worries about contact from the ACCC. I have contacted them, that's all I can do. Hopefully they will now do their job. I would suggest you stop running around (AFTER THE FACT) trying to put out spotfires and instead fix your product, be more transparent, and stop thieving off your customers with unreasonable and unwarranted fees.

Email them at hello@ubomi.com.au demanding they cancel your membership. I know of no other way, they make it as difficult as possible - no way of cancelling through app or website as far as I'm aware. It's their ploy so they can drain as much money from you as possible.

They can't ignore your request for cancellation but they will wave their T&C in your face to continue to charge you for nothing. Eventually the gouging will stop though (28 days). Good luck.

What is the $9 direct debt for? I signed up a while ago but I haven't used any of your services and to that effect I requested to have my membership cancelled. It's been over 2 months and you still get the $9 , care to explain what it is for and why cancellation has not been done?

Thought they would help with extra cash but ended up being more stressful as i had more medical bills come up i missed a couple of payments and now im innthis vicous cycle and wont be approved for a loan to pay everything out because of their defult i tried to message as i couldnt speak or talk due to my medical condition now om just stuck and owing them money while still paying weekly fees they helped by putting payment on hold but i still get charged keeping fees
