Ultraorganics Clear Henna Wax Hair Treatment Questions & Answers
What does it smell like?
Doesn't seem to have a odour.
Looking for a silicone based conditioner... I use Ultra organics clear and Beauty Formula's Henna wax as the only Henna wax I can find in my area... I am not greatly happy with these products in comparison to a product I used to use in the 90's...not too sure who made it or any other info? although it was in a brown coloured 500g container just like Ultra organics (might even be Ultra organics with a change of recipe and container, but the website suggests that it came out in '98 and I am sure I was using the other in 97 but not too sure and that 'This Clear Henna Wax is still the same great product...', looks like the same product colour and texture wise, but 90's product had very small flecks of henna in it and smelled much much better than Ultra organics. I recently found Shea butter products and like it much better than Ultra organics, it's a bit greasy so I do half and half of each product)...I was advised that the 90's product was no longer available in early 2000's due to it being silicon based and build up on hair blah blah blah...I didn't and don't care about the build up...it worked and was heaps better than this product...Obviously like majority of things over the past few decades the quality is sooo poor it's almost not worth buying anything in fear of breakdown, or IF it really does work or doesn't contain a carcinogen or other issue creating ingredient it's often discontinued...I recently tried to buy Ultra Organics at Chemist Warehouse both instore and online...this has now also been discontinued...so the hunt is on again!!!
You may be talking about earth and body henna wax treatment but you can’t get it anymore :( it was the best stuff ever
Can you use it on dry hair?
I've been told i cant use henna or henna products with the hair dye we buy in the stores, as the chemicals can react. Is this product alright to use straight after dying hair, or just before dying the hair with hair dye bought from the stores or hair dresser (not Henna based)?
I believe the hair treatment should be fine for both before and after dying hair as it is clear henna and won't affect the ultimate colour
Yes exactly, it refers to coloured Henna, this product is technically not actually henna as the word "clear henna" is a misnomer.
Kewl thankyou, I will try it ☺sounds just what I've been looking for
Tryed this henna wax very impressed I found it very good and have ordered another two ☺
The "henna " used in this product is extract if iam not mistake it is the component of henna that is good for ur hair not the entire thing Ex th not related to hair Borax's active ingredient is Boron
So there is an active ingredient that nourishes and protects hair which is extraced from the henna
That is why it is called "clear henna"
I have been using the wax for some time now, I used to buy a different brand years ago. I would like to know if it really is all natural or if it contains any nasty chemicals because some of the ingredients have very long names which do not sound natural to a person who is not a pharmacist?
hi sue47
I actually haven't been able to buy it from Priceline stores local to me, so I actually not sure, the best thing is to get in touch with the company who makes it
maybe email them.
sorry i was not able to help more
thanks though

Can you sleep with this product in your hair?
Yes. I use it daily as a leave in conditioner so once it is rubbed in I don't even notice it in my hair besides it making my curls stay curly rather than frizzy! Often when I wake up, my hair virtually looks the same as I did when I went to sleep. If needed, I just wet it slightly then reapply a little more cream and it looks great. Ultraorganics clear henna wax is really more a cream than a sticky waxy product but it definitely does more than normal cream products to stop your hair from frizzing.
no, its way too drippy, its something that you leave in then rinse out
if you slept with it in you will dirty your bed sheets
Is there anywhere in Townsville that you can purchase this product?
hi there
i am not sure i am in sydney and i bought it from my local priceline.
have you tried them in your area? otherwise what about emailing the company it self.
or calling them ?
Try local chemists and priceline, otherwise order online. At their website (http://www.ultraorganics.com.au/ ) they currently list this online site to buy from (http://www.beautyandme.com.au/), I just ordered a batch which should arrive this afternoon. The postage is worth it considering how affordable the product is compared to most other products on the market.
