Uniden TL27TX1 / TL32TX1 / TL42TZ1

Terrible – Well, for the same money, I would highly recommend a Sony, Panasonic, Samsung or Toshiba LCD TV which will run rings around the old fashioned performance of the Uniden. Very thick cabinet, not what you would expect for an LCD TV. Old generation panels used which are souced from CMO optics. The panels are 5 generations old as they were purchased in bulk some 2 years ago in an effort to beat the bigplayers on pricing. (backfired badly), now Uniden is on the cusp of closing the TV business due to its failure to penetrate the TV retail markets and lack of competitiveness and poor marketing.
