Hi, my UHI UMEP10 ran out of fuel going up an incline. I have refueled it and purged the air from the system up until the injector fuel line at the base of the cylinder. In summary there is no fuel running through the line to the injector. Fuel pump is working and I have tracked fuel right through to this last line. What could be blocking fuel going any further?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a UHI UME12P or 15P to help with landscaping my yard over the next 6-12 months. But I'm concerned resale value won't make this a viable proposition. Anyone know where these excavators are sold, and what the likely depreciation would be?
Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY UHI I Bought an 825T loader , the salesman in Sydney is a LYING SCUM BAG! Not only did I have to wait 3 months for vital Attachments, dispute text messages “ it will only be a few weeks, and given assurances that “ your equipment is in a container in melbourne “ and “ it’s on its way” . On top of all this their products are VERY POOR QUALITY! Mine has 74 hours on the clock and has broken down multiple times , their warranty is effectively worthless with mechanical issues and having to wait for assistance then have their mechanics say yes we are coming then not turn up all this has cost me literally tens of thousands of dollars in lost income.So much so that it is now in the hands of the ACCC , Dept of Fair Trading and NSW Work Safe due to their poor product, service and defective and Un safe equipment….. Save yourself the grief and Don’t Touch them

most likely, even a second hand Massey Fegerson or a John deer, Case or Ford all of those options would be better than UHI It’s nice to have something shiny and new , however the quality and service is so appalling that it makes it a Non Viable product

I have a UME10s Excavator, i am trying to find the drain plug on the hydraulic tank? The manual tells me to drain the oil via the drain plug but doesn't tell or show me where the little sucker is?

New tractor delivered UHI 354, when changing to low range third gear the gear stick hits the low/high shifter and knocks it out of low range third, can the gear stick be turned around by loosing the clamp at the bottom and change the position of the gear stick?

Has anyone had a problem with the battery, purchased a UHI2.8 excavator, had it about 3 months, battery went flat and thought that it may have been the result of sitting for some time in transit, charged it up and was ok for about a week, next time I went to use it, it was dead flat. Charged it fully again, went flat overnight. Ea c h time we finish using it we turn off the master switch to prevent any possible drain, but the battery still flat the following day. Machine has only 67 hrs, still waiting for an answer from their warranty department, given that i have only had it for around 3 months (build date April 2023) believe that it should be as simple a matter for UHI to replace the battery. Owners with units that have air-conditioning need to be aware that even when the master switch is off the A/C still has power to it, not sure why one would believe that once the circut breaker is off, there should be no power going to anything, maybe this is a fault in manufacture. One other issue I had was it just overheated one day, shut it down, and upon checking radiator empty, couldnt see anywhere that water was leaking, contacted Harry in Technical Support, suggested that we fill it up and c heck again for leaks, did this and no leaks, suggest to me that it was not full from the start, there is a fault in so far as the overflow bottle, despite being nearly impossible to view properly, despite no water in the radiator, the overflow bottle was still half full so this is usless as a gauge when doing a pre start up check. Maybe a good pre-delivery check would pick up on some of these problems. UHI you dhould develope a form and web page for owners to put in some suggestions on issues you find as an operator so UHI can maybe deal with these and improve on the machine, I have found a number of things in the short time I have owned my excavator, and c old make some suggestions for change to make owning the machine a good experience, and not swear and curse when doing or checking something that should be quite simple.
I have a Niece who works for the ACCC, was talking to her over Xmas and she said that UHI has the responsibility for the battery because it came as part of the machine and despite their warranty claim that the purchaser has to claim from the battery manufacturer as we would have no idea of who they are or how to claim it is up to UHI to replace the faulty battery and then make a claim against the battery company, she said the ACCC loves these disputes and are more than happy to fine companies for failure to adhere to Australian law. She said that companies should learn to do things in good faith, and the cost to replace a a battery is in the long run cheaper than a $100,000 fine and bad press that goes along with it.
