Waste of money
Never again will we try a no name brand TV. Our Viano is the biggest piece of crap. TV had to be completely rebooted several times in the first few weeks, our remote stopped working, can only purchase online with an iPhone which we do not have. Multiple phone calls to the useless RUDE guy in customer service. Eventually got an extended family member to buy one for us and had problems with that remote. Universal remotes do not work, has to be Viano remote. NetFlix forever doesn't work and have to switch TV off at wall and restart. No other apps ...that I have tried like Stan, Disney etc Work. Everything is just too hard. Just want a TV do what it is supposed to do. Such a waste. Surprised that BIG W stock such a crappy brand, we thought they would only stock decent TVs.
Tv no good after 10 months use
TV's back light gone only after 10 months of use! Annoying sound that always makes when Turing TV on and itconnects to the internet. Do not recommend a viano branded TV. Using the apps are quiet annoying. And sometimes would just close. Wireless casting/mirror screening closes when trying to cast phone to the smart tv.
Terrible lifespan. Big ripoff. Do not buy.
This is the second Viano we have had, the first died within 12 months, we claimed warranty however it was unable to be fixed so after two months of waiting we were issued a refund. We decided to give a second chance and paid a little extra for the bigger TV after this as a replacement and this time it died after 19 months. These TVs are not designed to last, will never purchase again. Pay the extra for a TV that will last.
Awful. Load of Rubbish "DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND"
This has the worst interface I have ever seen on ANY TV..! quite pathetic really,!
The guy in customer service has a rude arrogant manner, no help at all, hangs up the phone when questions are too hard.! Netflix drops out every month, have to reset the whole TV just for that. The App sections is THE worst ever, you can not simply just down load any app, STAN and Disney Plus is a HUGE NO GO.! you can not use it or them on this TV. It is slow, remote lasts 6 months, terrible quality. Don't bother calling them to help you, take it straight back to Big W and ask for a full refund or a newer version.
How red faced Big W must be to have such rubbish in their stores.
The tv always stops loading Netflix. The only way is to factory reset every week or two. Takes about 20mins.
My Smart operating system is flawed and really annoying. Regret buying a Viano Tv and wont again. It freezes and wont load apps with the only option to fix is to re-set the tv back to factory (factory re-set) takes ages and has even caused arguments with my partner because I havent fixed it immediately and Ben though I didnt even bloody know it decided to stop working again for the millionth bloody time.
Would not recommend
Worked great approx 18mths now has no channels at all. Have restored to factory settings on many occasions & nothing is working. Not great for longevity would only recommend for 12mth use.
From day one had nothing but problems
Channels dropped out from day one lost all channels..
Sound works now and no picture...can't retune do anything as black screen won't allow any functions to reprogram tv..it's just ran out of warranty too.
This 24inch Viano has it all
This multi purpose TV is great as I can play my childrens DVD movies and entertainment with the built in DVD player, the picture quality and adjustment is allso very good.
Purchased in June 2018 for $250.00.

Great TV but no HD Channel Tuner
This TV has been great for years with no problems. However, Viano neglected to highlight an essential functional deficiency within the features and specifications. It is important that customers are aware of this technicality for this and other older manufactered TVs. This TV does not have an MPEG 4 capable video decoder. It uses the old MPEG 2 format. This means that after buying this TV and with the introduction and expansion of HD channels in Australia, this TV was not capable of displaying those channels. The tuner can find the frequencies ...and identify broadcasted HD channels, but without the HD decoder, it cannot display them. The solution is to purchase a MPEG 4 compliant video decoder digital set-top box capable of HDTV. To view 1080i broadcast HDTV, use only a quality HDMI cable between the set-top box and TV. Don't let the cable be the weak link. Not all HDMI cables are the same. If you get a late version spec model, then you are not limited to just this specific old tech basic function when the TV finally needs replacing.

Bad but not as bad as Kogan
I got this tv becaues my friend said to me hey get this tv it's good. I did get this vaino tv and it was bad. The tv stop working in less then a week. The tv I had was a Kogan and it stoped working less then a day.

Fantastic LED TV for the price- never had any issues
I really dont know how anyone can complain about this great value TV. Viano use 1st grade LED TV panels and it shows in the wonderful picture. Sure enough the sound is nothing like your Samsung or LG TVs but neither is the price. I only paid $398 for this TV in 2014 and that was half the price of the big name brands. It was a no brainer. And I have used this as our main TV in the lounge room ever since. If you have an issue with the sound just make some adjustments in the sound menu to suit your taste or run it through external speakers or a so...und bar as many do even with the big name brands. Simple fix. Dont complain! The remote is well laid out and still working perfectly as well. Again dont know why people are complaining. Simply put this is the best value 47" TV your money can buy, new or used.

Worst TV I’ve ever had
I bought 2 of these thinking I was getting good quality TV’s at a reasonable price. I have 1 at home & 1 at our holiday house.
Both are crap.
Both have certain channels that are completely pixelated.
1 of them won’t even recognize any of the channel 9 stations. They do not exist.

Stuffs up after the year warranty
Was so excited to bring this home, had lots of fun watching Netflix then after the year warranty was up it turned on and kept flashing the logo..wasn't gonna pay over $1000 to get it fixed so different brand we went.
A decent choice for elderly
I bought this TV for my parents about a month ago. The picture quality is good but not great. My father only uses it to watch the news. Says it's easy to use and works fine for him. Not a bad choice for the price.
Best in the price range
I did not want to spend a thousand dollars on a TV as I am on budget. What do you know, not only did I spend a fraction of that, I got a decent TV which is definately bang for the buck. I have not faced any issues so far and along with mulah in my pocket, the TV feels even better. Go for it!

I was a bit worried before installing after some early reviews were mixed for this TV, but I think it is great. Really good picture quality for the price. It is very quick to turn on and the menus are smooth to navigate

This tv im disappointed not 2 years old and it has lines running vertically through it about 7 poor quality for something not quite 2 years old. Never again will i buy one.

Try unplugging the TV from power and disconnecting the aerial and leave for two hours.
This may reset the TV.
Why is the remote so useless on my smart tv? It's been hard to use from day 1. Sometimes the only button that works straight away is the info button. Every 3 to 4 days i have to reset tv if i want to see what is actually on a channel.
Tv comes loaded with apps that are not compatible. This is hardly a SMART TV. I wish i never purchased this piece of crap.
How do I set up my hard drive without internet to my viano smart tv please
