False advertising – I recently purchased the Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz & GMS Dozen, it was, and still is advertised as containing 6 bottles of 2016 shiraz, I received 2017 shiraz. Follow-up · Then Virgin team were very helpful and gave me the option to keep the order at a reduced price. My circumstances have changed and I have decided to not order from Virgin Aust in future as the variety of wines offered at the normal selections (rather than the specials or "mystery" offers do not vary sufficiently . Follow-up · People have asked a couple if questions about my review. We have bought combination of red and white and also premium reds. Our favourite have definitely been the premium reds. Like most things you get what you pay for but for the price, go for the premium ones! The box it comes in is very strong and so far delivered without any issues straight to our door.

Great wines, great prices, very fast delivery. I like the mystery boxes, I have gotten some very pricey bottles at a fraction of the price at times. I have always been impressed with their reds, Australian or international varieties. If I buy any more wine my wife will kick me out. Show reply

The prices and range are good, but although I order infrequently I still seem to run into issues with postage. Right now I've been waiting nearly three weeks for an order and this is not the first time. So I would suggest order here if you don't care too much about when you'll actually get the wine.

I have used Virgin Wines in the past but, unlikely to do so in the future. I received a email advertising a voucher for a $40 reduction on a dozen bottles. When placing the order, the voucher was accepted but at payment, the full amount was changed. When I phoned to query this, I was advised that the voucher was only valid for a minimum purchase… Read more

If fact, the opposite, the voucher was accepted but, the full price was changed at checkout. As this was blatant false advertising, I cancelled the order and now I’m waiting for my money back.

Some of the specials are very good. I certainly don’t think all of them stand out but if you keep your eye out for what you like you can stock up the cellar at reasonable prices. I hate getting unsolicited phone calls which they haven’t done, I can ignore emails if they get too spammy… Show reply
They do offer a wide variety of product and their order processing and delivery is quite effective. My only grouch is that some of their red wines, mainly in the lower priced mixed packs, are a bit ‘newish’ and this reflects in their taste which can be off putting. Show reply
I have been very impressed with the wines that I have purchased. The quality has generally been exceptional. One of a mixed box did not suit my taste and Virgin were as good as their guarantee and replaced it with a great wine with no quibble whatsoever. I did not receive my order. After the courier service sent me a message and a photo of my box of wine at someone else’s house I put in a complaint. Only received one response that they were working on it. I have emailed everyday for 4 days with no response. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I am cancelling my subscription and would not recommend anyone to sign up for this subscription.

Happy with past service of WINES but experiented a recent Stroke and hence have canceled further Use of this service. Unfortunate cease of ungoing enjoying past history.

Delivery of wine was done by leaving a card in the letterbox and I had to go to the depot at Brisbane Airport to pick it up. Virgin Wines kindly gave $20 for my troubles.
Some good wines and great deals. I do like the website and find it easy to use. Also like being able to purchase different wines and quantities according to need.
Always reliable and easy to deal with .. Wines are always good and any errors in delivery or wine are quickly resolved… Very helpful on the phone and wine club is easy to change dates of delivery… Cannot fault Vigin Wines and would highly recommend..
