I emailed and received another email with a dead link. 2 weeks later I received a receipt saying that "my free trial had ended" and my card was debited with another $99 for this month and then it would be debited every month in the future. I never had a free trial and I certainly did not authorise a second $99 debit. Looking at the fine print it says that my subscription can be altered on their web site, but there is no way I can see, to do it on the web site

connects to the Vively app). I also got a 15 min video chat appointment with a Vively dietician, who was super nice and helpful. You get emailed lots of info, all really helpful and useful, plus the Vively app has lots of info. It's a little overwhelming initally taking it all in and quite time-consuming logging everything you eat and drink (super important), but after a week I got the hang of it and the food logging got a lot easier (especially if you tend to eat the same foods, you can save them in the app).

Applying the CGM to my arm was very easy, it monitors your glucose levels for 2 weeks. Yes, there was a brief moment or two of soreness when it attached to to my upper arm (a tiny filament goes into your skin) but after that, you'd never know it was there. It's held in place with a sticky adhesive and a cover patch that you stick over it. Monitoring my food intake and watching my glucose levels go up and down in response to what I eat and drink has been quite a revelation. I discovered that refined bread really spikes my glucose, it's not my friend. I have completely changed what and when I eat. It's not that hard to keep your glucose level - avoid highly processed foods (they're everywhere) and sugar - and exercise more. In less than 3 weeks I've lost weight and I am eating so much better - and it's influencing my family too.

What I also really like is that you can 'chat' with your dietician on the Vively app and ask them as many questions as you like. The app has 3 main tabs: TRACK (glucose levels, nutrition, fitness, sleep, resilience, weight, food, exercise, journal, metabolic health), GUIDE (Learn, Action), CHAT (Dietician, tech support). General support and tech support from Vively employees has been prompt and helpful. Highly recommended!

meals, you simply take a photo and it usually is able to recognise the food correctly. If there is something identified incorrectly, it is easy to edit. Vively has lots of informative articles and the app gives insights into the meals and how to improve them for optimal results. If you have a smart watch, your exercise and sleep results all integrate seamlessly. I highly recommend Vively if you are serious about keeping diabetes in check and generally to improve your metabolic health.

I decided to use Vively CGM as a means to see if my glucose levels had any influence on the cognitive issues and migraines I was dealing with as a result of mild TBI from a car accident. if you want to get a better understanding of your body. Glucose monitor is painless to apply and very easy to synch to to Vively app through the Abbott FreeStyle LibreLink. If you are doing meal tracking, quality of nutritional data in their data base is variable and quite often conflates home-made food to ultra processed versions. How hung up you want to get on this aspect of the functionality is down to the individual and there is scope to add your own food and drink to the app if you have the time/inclination.

Vively has really helped me understand my body better. From foods that trigger blood glucose spikes to how exercise impacts my body. The community zoom meetings every couple of weeks are also really informative with lots of great tips to further improve blood sugars. Show reply

massively and was super low but stable throughout the day. I followed up and asked some questions, and learned that these are very healthy and strong signs of the body. Now it's the 5th time I have a CGM and use Vively, which is exciting because I am pregnant, and it gives me peace of mind to see what is good to eat vs what I shouldn't eat to make sure my baby is fine. The only negative point I have is that is costs now $17 NZD to get a Vively Protective Patch. I am a business consultant, so I understand very well that there is cost involved for the patches and that Vively needs to monetise it as there is not a lot of margin in CGMs, however, I signed up with their App for an entire year and found it disappointing to not get a patch for free. Other than that, great company, great app, great services and amazing insights!

I joined Vively in April, after seeing it advertised on social media. I was curious around how my body was reacting to certain foods due to some symptoms I had experienced.
