Vivo is Latin for "alive" "living". Well, I remember when I bought this TV with the cool red plastic stripe along the bottom thinking "It looks good, but Vivo? Never heard of this brand. Lets see how long it lasts ..." That was April 2010 and my Vivo TV is still alive and living! 15 and a half years! All pixels in excellent shape. Picture quality… Read more

still crisp and crystal clear w very deep, defined colours. Surround sound also fantastic. Remote still working. The left to right swivel feature handy too. I had to buy an external set top box to turn it into a Smart TV but it plugged into the side USB port no probs. What a trooper this unit has been! Can't complain an iota except to say sorry the Vivo brand didn't continue.

The Perfect TV experience – Perfect TV. Found on side of the road and cannot believe what an amazing TV it is. Great colour, contrast and the sound is literally amazing and better than the speakers used on expensive brand names. Show details

I love you Vivo – I bought a Vivo TV in 2007 and let me tell you that this TV has been through a rough life and has never let me down. I bought this TV at the young age of 12 after saving up enough pocket money to get one of the cheapest 32” TV’s there was and that was when i saw a beautiful Vivo for the first time. I immediately bought her and took her home,… Read more

caressing her on the drive there. Everything you want in a woman is encapsulated in a Vivo TV. They are beautiful, loyal, smart and reliant. The year is currently 2024 and after constant daily use, being used as an outdoor TV, getting covered in dust, getting rained on, my beautiful Vivo has never let me down. Best $300 i have ever spent.

Bought VIVO LTV FHD LTV32FHD (32") in 2008, still going strong 12+ yrs – I bought the VIVO LTV FHD LTV32FHD (32") in 2008 at Dick Smith's on special for maybe $299? My 8 yr old CRT Panasonic had finally died after 6mths of green skies, blue grass and strange magenta seas. The VIVO wasn't my first choice but it fit the budget. Now the end of 2020 and still going strong, I'm happy I didn't end up spending a lot more on… Read more

a name brand which isn't guaranteed to last any longer. Came here looking to see if anyone had anything about fitting an Amazon Fire Stick lite or Chromecast via the HDMI.

Great tv! – Been a great TV, never had any issues with it. Original purchase over 5 years ago. Picture quality, contrast & good clear sound on standard setting. slight vibration on surround sound setting. Remote still works better than my denon receiver I purchased at the same time. Was great value for a budget priced tv.  Show details

One minute I was watching then the screen went blank – I bought this from dick smith. I even asked a tv repair man and he told me to buy a new tv. He mentioned something about parts availability. I have tried a couple of others but no one wants to touch it. Wish I had of known that when I bought it.

Blank Screen - Buy cheap and pay the price – I bought the TV a few years ago from Dick Smith (so out of warranty) for my holiday home so it has very little use. That said, the screen simply went blank one evening without warning. Reading the other reviews indicates a common problem. My guess is I just need to buy a new TV. Not ideal and I guess a lesson learned.

Great value – Bought this is a 2nd TV, now use it as our main TV. Unless you're very fussy, picture quality is fine, have hooked it up to stereo so sound isn't a problem. Paid about $350 from Dick Smith (just noticed they're now going for $300) about a year ago, no issues with it at all. Inexpensive

Buyer BEWARE!!!!! – I bought this product on sale from DICK SMITH - yes I am SHAMING them!!! It broke down while under warrantee. They AKNOWLEDGE it is faulty - It is totally stuffed and cannot be repaired BUT they will only give me a gift voucher for the SALE price because the tv is now twice the price!! I can't afford to buy it so now I have no tv and a voucher… Read more

that won't buy ANYTHING in their range. This is SO a scam!!!! Shame. Shame. Shame vivo!!! And shame on Dick Smith for stocking it, sucking me into buying an EXTENDED warrantee and then doing nothing when vivo rips me off! Oh, Dick, I expected SO much better!! If your contemplating buying a Vivo appliance.... Save yourself the heartache and just flush your money down the loo! Department of fair trading here I come!! NOT a happy camper!! While it worked it was ok FAULTY, no customer service and warrantee is not worth the paper it is printed on

VIVO LCD TV LTV40FHD – Bought this TV about 12 months ago and it was very affordable, however, the sound was bad and the picture wasn't great either. After about 9 months a white line appeared along the bottom the screen which lead to the picture disappearing completely. We got it repaired under warrantly BUT 3 months later NO picture again! Price. Two breakdowns within a year and poor sound quality.

They have a known design flaw, the caps blow after 6 months. Demand it be repaired for free.

5 months without a TV – Vivo 47 " TV from Dick Smith. The TV performed in a reasonable manner until it required warranty repairs. Good – For a tev of this size and quality it was a relatively good price compare to other brands so it is a good cheap option. The picture quality is great and is still as greatas when I bought the television. It is also great for watching high definition DVDs or blu-rays discs. It comes with warranty. Good – I guess I've got, what I have paid for, I think I should of paid $100 more and bought LG or Panasonic. But don't get me wrong picture quality is perfect, would it have better adjustments and would stand tall amongst the big brands Great picture for the price and size The firmware is rubish, no aspect ratio or zooming, user unfriendly remote Show reply
