Value and quality – Have purchased three 200ah batteries and have had no troubles Show details · 1
Great for providing power away from home! – I use my battery when travelling in my 4WD - principally to power the portable fridge it's sitting on in this picture. It's in a battery box, and I recharge it using solar cells, or via the mains when available. It's a great battery, very reliable, band gas more than enough capacity for the purpose! Show details · 1
200A powering our travels – Initial delivery of battery and 30amp DCDC charger was fast as promised, Upon opening the battery the quality seems good and looks professional, After our first 2 week trip right after charging and installing the battery we had no issues at all running out fridge, lights, chargers and etc Very happy as of writing this review and will follow up in… Read more · 1
a few months after a few discharge cycles to see how the capacity holds up Fits well behind the rear seats in my Nissan GQ patrol
So Good – It's such a relief to restore power to the family home with a reliable source, and not spend an arm and a leg to do so, phew. Show details · 1
Confused owner - Manual problems – Greetings, I purchased a VoltX 12V LiFePO4 Plus 100Ah Battery on or about the 4th May 2023. It is connected to a 32lt Engel set to 0 degree C. The battery is charge buy 2 x195W solar panels running through an MPPT Regulator set to Lifepo4 battery parameters. The Plus form of the battery reputedly comes with five years warranty however I… Read more · 1
received no paperwork explaining that or indeed an invoice from Outbax, the seller, either. However I have a paypal receipt
The battery has an LED screen, but there were no (clear) instructions as to how to change the operation of the battery I.E. its voltage readout and or any other changeable features. After reading some of the questions posed here i.e. the voltage readouts, I can say that my battery charges daily to 14.5v It reaches this voltage after approx 3 hours of (MPPT regulated) 9 amp charge then float...However overnight - approximately 12 hours at 0v charge and 8 amps drained It displays an average low voltage of 12.25v and an average unloaded V of 13.1v. I recently phoned customer service and the person suggested I contact the seller, but if it as simple as changing the parameters of ( I'm guessing the BMS), and after what one reviewer said of their experience with the seller I'm hoping to work this out here... BTW I keep good records of the daily condition of the battery mostly to graph the performance through a variety of (solar) weather conditions, see attached image, if you do please note the "Amps" columns are accumulative but you can still deduce the amount used in a 24 hour period happy camping :)

Volt x batteries I love them – I bought two of these batteries 3 years ago. I am BE (elec) and I have the passion and equipment to test batteries. These batteries have performed beyond my expectation. On purchasing I charged both to 14.5v and discharged via a Victron 1600watt inverter driving 2 domestic freezers and 2 westing house 260l fridge freezers. One battery ran all 4… Read more · 1
fridges for 2.5 days and the Victron smart shunt showed over 200 A/h before the bms shut down. Both batteries gave over 200A/h on purchase, and 3 years later still deliver 200A/h. The batteries do not lose voltage when charged, staying over 13.6v after 2 months. I have connected in parallel and driven a 2000watt induction hotplate with a Victron 3000w inverter without an issue. I have recommended to 2 friends and they have bought, too. Every year ve go to Moreton Island its remote. I power 2x 200 litre Westinghouse deep freezers, 2x Westinghouse 3 phase 260 litre fridges, via a 1600watt Victron inverter, I charge the batteries with two 430 watt house solar panels in series driving a Victron 100/50 MPPT. This pushes 50 amps in sun and 20 amps in the overcast, batteries are full by noon. I am ecstatic with these batteries.
Faultless and bargain price – Like all bargain priced items, there is always a sense of hesitation. However for the price I was willing to take the plunge. I have been using this battery for over 6 months now. It sits in a battery box in my canopy. Has bounced around a bit. Gets charged predominately via solar only (160W panel), with some top ups by 240v charger. Has run 2… Read more · 1
fridges (40L & 60L) without issue for days on end. Delivery was fast. The product has been so great that my brother purchased one too with a similar setup as me and his has run faultlessly as well.
Edit Update (long term usage): I have been using it for over 2 years now, and both batteries have been running faultlessly. I run 1 fridge almost every day and it has not impacted the capacity of the battery. It lives in my canopy and over the North Qld summer periods can get beyond recommended operating temperatures and it hasn't missed a beat. My brothers is still perfectly fine, gets placed in a battery box on the back of his tray when needed, in the elements, and again runs flawlessly. Both batteries have been used to very low capacity on rare occassions, without any adverse effects.
Good for the price, and my failed unit was replaced – I am on my second battery as my first unit failed, but at this price to get into lithium you expect some compromise on quality. The good news is that Outbax replaced it no worries and new unit is going well. I didn't have to pay return postage and I was only out the inconvenience of swapping out the battery and swinging into the post office and… Read more · 1
not having it for a camping weekend.
It's Light, fast charging, has low voltage drop under reasonable load and at this price it's well ahead of AGM equivalents.
I've not tested the full capacity and the lowest I've taken it is ~60% (250w panel feeding it, as well as a DCDC) usual cycle is down to 70 or 80‰ +. Max load I've had on it is ~520w (battery is 600w rated constant).
For me, even more than the light weight, the best feature is the fast charging capability of lithium. It's fantastic. My 30a dcdc is set to 20a max generally (as per specs) but flicking it over to 30a my shunt shows the full 30a going in.

I bought the caravan over 12 months ago. It had the Voltx 100ah battery unit which was dead flat, I thought it was dead. Got home and charged it up and it has given me good service. I bought the new one when you offered 20 percent off. Going on the old one I’m sure it will give me good service. I also have the 230ah slim line battery in the back… Read more · 1
of the vehicle which also has been fabulous. I can’t fault the Voltx batteries or your good service. Keep it up!
Delivery was quick, battery looks good. Haven’t used any yet so can’t comment on performance. Bit disappointed doesn’t have iPhone connectivity to monitor performance. Show details · 1
Very easy transaction, great price on the battery and charger and fast shipping. It's early days yet but the battery is performing well. I appreciated the follow-up call to confirm the items had arrived and check if there were any issues with the product, it's refreshing to find a business that values its customers. Many thanks Outbax, I'll be back to purchase again and I thoroughly recommend your company!! Show details · 1
Well priced and have had no issues with it. Now have 2 of these VoltX batteries in battery box setups, charged with solar panels and running fridge/freezers with no issues. Show reply

So far they are looking good with two sets of two in series 400ah 24v – Our first trip away on the new VoltX batteries so too early to judge their quality however they turned up in good time and were very well packaged. The supplier is easy to contact a you get to talk to a real person. Show details · 1

Great batteries for a great price! – I installed 4 off 12V 100 AH LifePo4 batteries to replace 2 off 12V 120 Ah AGM deep cycle batteries. My system is 24V, so I run 2 batteries in series. The main user overnight is a large 240V fridge freezer (running through a 3kW inverter). I must say I am impressed with these batteries. The LifePo4 batteries recharge so much quicker, are a lot… Read more · 1
lighter and I now have sufficient power to overcome an overcast day. I have 700W of solar on the roof, but charging my AGM batteries was always a struggle. I do have a comment though: the manual that came with the batteries has insufficient information. It tells that you need a 14.6V charger, but the BMS cuts out at 14.4V. Neither is there mention of a float charge. Please update your manual. I am currently using a bulk charge of 28.4V (series) and a float of 27V, which seems to work fine for me.

Great Products at Good Prices – I researched all the big names in lithium batteries and kept coming back to Voltxfor its quality and specs and price. I have previously purchased a Voltx solar blanket and again a quality product. I’m changing over from AGM to Lithium so starting afresh with products including DCDC charger etc. I will not fit the battery until Dec24 but have… Read more · 1
tested it as to storage mode and all good there. I will jump back in once I’ve tested the produce but as with other reviews I expect no issues and a battery that will do the job for me. I received a call from Voltx reinforcing their support -if required - for their product and no reward was offered for my genuine feedback. Hervey Norman Online purchase
