Hours of fun and learning – My little one loves this walker! It has been a great help in helping her learn to walk. She spends so much time pushing it around the house and building her confidence. The sounds are a cute feature too! Show details
great product – Love this toy for my little girl. We won this toy at a local raffle. She plays with it everyday. I started letting her play with it form the recommended 6 months plus. She started to play with the game part first that can be detached from the walker. She is now 8 months and standing but i find the walker isn't safe until baby can walk.
Excellent - green handle model the best – Vtech has two models, one with a red handle and one with a green. Unlike the red handle, the green handle has a rubber strip around the back wheels that give better traction on floor boards and tiles and you are able to lock the back wheels as well. AND is $10 cheaper than the red handle model. I could only find the green handle model at Kmart for… Read more
$49, as opposed to red handle model at BigW for $59. I have read that the front play panel which comes off had a habit of falling off while the child is pushing the walker. I have found as long as it is attached properly this doesn't happen. Also people have commented that the phone doesn't have a cord. I have found this a good thing. If it did the cord would need to be long enough the child could put it to their ear and that means it could become rapped around the wheels, and my boy loves to hand me the phone to say hello. Used as a walker the phone doesn't fall off either so no need for a cord. The music is good and my child really enjoys the front panel. I would highly recommend this model, my little boy pulled himself up and started walking with this as soon as we put it in front of him at 8 months. A month later and he practically runs behind it.
Fun but flimsy – This walker has a great activity panel, but the walker is way to flimsy and always topples. And my baby can stand and cruise quite competently. I was super keen for this particular walker but found competing brands much sturdier. i wouldn't recommend this walker to anyone in the future.
It's good for balance – My son enjoys playing with it however the wheels allow it to go to fast and he falls over because of this. Another fault my child got his finger caught in the flap for the barn door which caused a bruise. It has improved his balance when we put it up against something so it doesn't travel too fast for him.
Great Activity Walker – I bought this for my son when he first started to cruise around furniture. This has probably been one of the best toys we have bought, as he has used it frequently for over a year now. Even after he had outgrown the walker part of it, he still loves to use the activity board to play with. My only annoyance would be that the phone handle isn't… Read more
attached to the board by anything and is often misplaced around the house - other than that it's a great toy.
Mainly good – The activity board is fantastic and I can see my little one getting lots of enjoyment from it for years to come. My only negative for the walker is that sometimes when it falls when she leans back a little too far or it gets away from her, she gets hurt, once even cutting her lip. I imagine it would be difficult to stop this from happening though.
Best toy ever – Best $50 I have ever spent. I have had this toy for about 5 months. My baby loves it. Loves it as a walker and loves the toys on the front. Really the only toy you need. I take mine everywhere. Quite simply the best toy ever
Love it – Lovely colours, baby enjoys the attachments and corresponding sounds. Enjoyable without the music also. Familiar tunes for parents to sing along to, a pleasant English voice instead of an over-the-top American accent is a nice change. Good size handle for baby to hold to walk. Chose this item after reading these reviews, compared to other brands.… Read more
Pretty spot on. Worth the extra money. Accent. Variety of colours. Detachable front for floor play. Some of the musical sounds are very much like an annoying pokie machine and the volume levels are loud and really loud. It moves along quite fast when baby is first learning to walk with it (need to hold it)
Great Walker!!!! – Not only was this great for teaching my daughter to walk, she loved the interactive, detachable lights and sounds face. The only issue is the stability of the walker, we needed to hold it initially as it rolls away from under them as they push it. As they work out how to keep it stable it was awesome and the best thing for helping her to learn… Read more
to walk. She took her first steps unassisted at just under 11 months and I think this was aided by this products use in the months prior. Detachable lights and sounds face, best product for learning to walk. Stability. wasn't very stable initially until they learn to balance on it.
Lots of activities – Great little walker. Whilst my 10 month old isn't quite ready to use it as a walker, he absolutely loves the play centre on the front. The only thing to be weary of is the shape cut outs at the top. They are attached to a short elastic string and when my son pulls the shapes off the string snaps back and has got his finger a few times. Lots to… Read more
play with on the front. Easy to assemble and reasonable price. Short elastic string attached to shape cut outs that snaps back when pulled.
Best walker – Fantastic walker that you can still use well before your baby is walking as the electronic part is detachable. We put the walker part together about a month after we bought it thinking my daughter could just sit up and play with it as she was only just standing and not interested in walking at all but as soon as it was together she wanted to push… Read more
it and now loves (assisted) walking. The grooves on the wheels help to slow down the walker so she doesn't go so quick which was a real problem with another cheap walker we were given with smooth wheels. Bought this at 50% off, not sure I would have paid full retail for it but definitely a good buy at 50% off. Lots of activities, textured wheels to reduce speed Phone piece is not permanently attached and is always getting lost. Expensive if paying full price
A multifunction walker – We bought this walker for our son for his first Christmas. At about 5 months old he started to play with the front toys (includes a phone and mini piano etc) He was constantly choosing this toy to play with amongst all the others, so it was good you can detach it from the walker. About a month later he started to both sit and crawl so this toy… Read more
became even better.
At first he would sit and play with the front toys again, but then he started to crawl holding onto it. Over the next few months he continued to learn to walk on it and soon enough he could. The only downside is its very noisy. But my son - even though he can already walk, wont let us take this away, he loves to play with it too much. In my opinion this was one of the best purchases we made for our son because of the countless hours of play! Plus we hardly ever have to replace the batteries. Good for all ages, fun and interactive Can be noisy

Top marks for a Vtech toy! – Yesterday I purchased this toy for our twin boys, as they begin to stand and are trying to walk at 7 months and found this terrific all-in-one toy. With a sturdy design which supported and encouraged the baby's first steps. It has a detachable learning centre packed with activities. With shapes and light-up musical keys which introduces… Read more
letters, words, numbers, animals, colours, catchy sing-along songs and melodies that are in an English accent and not American.
A moving butterfly, discs and rollers develop hand skills and a removable rattling phone is great pretend playing with them. I agree with previous review about having a cord to the phone to prevent loss but perhaps its a safety issue also?!
It was really easy to assemble and can be folded and stored away.
It's a very versatile, as the toy tray can come off so they can sit and play with it on the floor, then sit up and play with it on the stand, if it moves then crawl after it. Then they can use it as a walker. A great toy and recommended to all babies from 6 months and up.
Top marks to Vtech for bringing us a great development, all-in-one toy. Reliable product, made well, built to last, great for baby's motor skills and co-ordination. Nil to date. However, listen to the toy when it says "Jack the dog", it made us do a double take to listen to it carefully :P
Very fun – My boy loves this I actually had to put it away at 18 months because he was driving me banana's running up and down the wooden floors (very loud) but when they are learning it's fantastic! Have to be careful with any walker as they will slip when trying to start off but this walker is better then most of the push alongs I've seen much more to do… Read more
and play with... Everything, music, lights, things to play with The little phone coma off and gets lost wish it was held on with a string or something but no biggie
Bad – I don't really like toys that go overboard with flashing lights and sounds. The accent on the one we used was American too, and sounded a bit un-natural. I wouldn't recommend this toy generally, but if you do get one, perhaps don't let your kids play with it just before bedtime, as the over-stimulation caused by so many lights and sounds will… Read more
probably not make for a restful sleep. Can be fun for your baby to push around or practice pulling themselves up. Attractive to little eyes and hands. Even older toddlers will want to push all the buttons! It plays a LOT of annoying music. I don't really think parents are the only ones who get annoyed - surely some children must tire of the relentless corny music that assaults them everytime they push a button? Also, far too many flashing lights.
Excellent – I bought this for my child as she was in that stage where she would be pushing around her activity table and thought its time to buy her a walker. Im glad I did because she loves it. This walker is a must for any child, it slowly builds their confidence in learning how to walk. I love this walker because it has many features that will entertain… Read more
your child for ages as its very interactive! It has a detachable face which you can attach to the cot or have it on the floor. The walker itself is very sturdy and wont tip over and is the perfect height. Nothing at all!
The only toy you need! – The VTech walker has kept our daughter amused for hours over the past 11 months. The front panel has plenty of different buttons, lights and tunes to keep her entertained. I also like that it's educational. She learnt to pull herself up on the handle and now loves the freedom she gets from pushing it around the house. Considering how much… Read more
use it has, the batteries seem to last for ages, we've only changed them once.
We take it with us wherever we go, it's a trusty toy that can be used indoors our outside. Has kept our daughter amused for hours Hard to collapse for travel, although it is possible! The front panel slips off sometimes.
It's pretty good and seems to keep my baby playing longer without getting bored quickly – I was given this second hand and by the state of it the previous owners must have liked playing with it alot. Once I gave it a good clean I thought I'd show it to my little boy who was about 9 weeks old at the time. I detatched it from the walker part and it lays on the ground while I hold him up and he stamps all over it. He seemed to like… Read more · 1
mashing at the keys and turning the butterfly over.
It's also pretty tough because it's fallen off the highchair and nothing happened to it.
My boy is 4 months old now and while I know he's still very young I can see he is learning from it. It will be very handy once he's up and walking.
I found out how much they cost and they are pretty expensive so I could imagine people would be put off buying one. I think it would be worth buying one because the one I have came from a family of 3 kids and it's still going strong. It's tough, entertaining and keeps baby interested for good lengths of time. Helps with counting, abc and motor skills etc. It sounds like a poker machine. I don't like the sound of the voice.
Love it! – I bought this toy from a second hand store as my little girl is walking along furniture and has recently started standing by herself. Close to xmas and already have another different type of walker on layby for her, seen this for $10 and couldn't not grab it for her! The first time she played with it, she didn't leave it for nearly half an hour! I… Read more
love this toy, and if I know now how good it was and didn't have the one I have now, I would of defiantly bought a brand new one full price! Everything! Interactive, noisy and all the things babies love! And it's educational! Doesn't fold up and can be a bit loud!
Perfect for active bubs – I was given the VTech baby walker as a gift for my daughter in 2009, she was 9 months old when she got it and she used it flat out for about 6months before she out grew it. The little songs and jingles are very catchy, and it has two volume levels. The little keyboard keys light up which my daughter loved. Now in 2012, our second baby born in… Read more
2011, now 6months old is using his sisters baby walker and loves it too!it works as if its brand new. Easy to assemble, nice design and catchy tunes Can be noisy, but i personally put it on the quiet setting
Excellent – Good value given the amount of things there are to do with this toy. As others have mentioned, the phone is something likely to go missing given it isn't attached, but that's about the worst of it! Lots of songs and different activities to play with. Proved to be a very popular toy in our household. We didn't pay for ours, it was given as a… Read more
present, but I have seen them for both $50 as well as around $80. Personally, I think $50 is pretty cheap given how interactive the toy is. Would be great if you could put a stopper on it so that little ones can lean on it because if they stand up on it before they are ready they will tip over pretty quickly with the walker.

Excellent – We didn't hesitate buying this Baby Walker after seeing a family member had one. With the detachable activity center our child began using this at home when she was about 6 months, and we took it everywhere we went in the car. When she began trying to walk this walker was perfect. It's sturdy frame never tipped over with her weight (not like the… Read more
old fashioned wooden trolley walkers). It's compact and easy to fold up and store. We were initially going to buy a walker with the built in seat but preferred to buy this product as it offered a lot more freedom of movement and the option to remove the activity centre. Our child is almost 2 now and she still gets alot of use out of this (zooming around the house). I definately recommend this product. Colourful, musical, learning aspects.
Teaches baby to keep balance and to walk.
Excellent – I love playing with the learning centre with my 5 month old baby girl. She gets very excited and giggles alot when playing. Learning centre is easily clicked on and off. I am sure she would love having it as a walker when she's ready. I'm also sure that she will be playing with it for a few more years. Its very good quality and well made. I highly… Read more
recommend this product and I will be buying more of vtech's toys. Easy to put together, teaches numbers, letters, words and fun catchy melodies. Very colourful. Absolutely nothing at all.
Excellent – This is a very educational toy that will bring hours of entertainment with the colourful buttons, music & sounds and this front section can detach and be used as a walker. My son pretty much learnt to walk whilst pushing it around the house and it's very sturdy so will hold up to quite a lot as it was pushed into walls & everything quite hard -… Read more
very durable. plays lovely tunes baby will love and very educational also teaching numbers, colours & shapes. Front will detach so baby can use as a walker and is great when learning to walk quite expensive however I borrowed from a friend but probably worth the money as very well used
Excellent – My boy is 20 months old and had this toy for over a year, he stills plays with now. Lately he's being copying the words that is being said, so Im happy about that. Detachable activity centre, lots of varied things to play with. Encourages listening and physical activity. Easy for the baby/toddler to walk behind. Toy is even fun for them upside down. The little phone detaches and can get lost(like mine)
Good – Quite ok, since this toy can be use long before baby start walking. Can be used as walker or sit in toy, make this toys dual purposes. Detachable toys, makes it long lasting. My daughter has this toy long before she started walk, she can sit and play with it. The walker, even with toys attached, is a bit light weight for my liking. It to easily glide for a little one that just start walking. I prefer Leapfrog walker for that.
Excellent – My baby started using this toy from 5 months and still uses it now at 1 year she loves to use it for walking as well as playing with the buttons and flaps. My neighbour has one for her daughter who still uses it daily at 2 years old. Very good toy investment. It comes in a girly type (we have) and a neutral type. Great size for sitting and… Read more
standing babies. Musical face comes off for smaller babies to play or tummy time. Adjustable sound. Learning mode and musical mode. All sort of learning features. Great for babies learning to walk. Batteries don't last long!
Excellent – Have been having this for my girl for 3+ months. My girl loves this very much. The only thing is that, she had a very bad nightmare on the very first night she was introduced this toy. She cried out loud while sleeping in the middle of the night which she's never had that before. She normally sleeps overnight. Not sure if this is related,… Read more
but would suggest to minimise the stimulation to infant. Offer this toy to older kids, say 9+ months. Handy when the panel can be separated from the frame so my 6 month old girl can play, so it's not too loud for her or not too annoying for adults! Variety of songs and great combination of buttons, songs and lights. Two volume levels for selection are quite useful to me. My girl loves it very much. Can't comment on the frame as my girl hasn't used it yet. She's already satisfactory with the panel so far. Bought this when it's on sale for $50 which is ok. But it's a bit pricy to me on full price. The telephone handset's 'user friendly' so we take it away.
Excellent – This is a great toy. It has been a favourite in my house for over a year now. Highly recommended. Lots of buttons which teach shapes, numbers, letters, words, music etc. Good for sitting, standing or walking babies so you get lots of use out of it. It is not just activated by the baby pressing a button - if they haven't touched it for a few… Read more
seconds it plays another song which I found keeps their attention longer. Plenty of different songs and sounds so not to annoying to listen to. I found the phone a bit pointless as it is not on a string and is never on the walker.
