Wanderer mats are no good in my experience. Go for the Zempire Monstamat you won’t be disappointed

I just got a wanderer double mattress. It won't inflate to 100mm either not firm either so to speak. Bit disappointed

Just bought the wanderer extreme double swag with 80mm self inflating mattress and after 4hr it is still only 30-40mm in height. Is this normal?

No. Should be 100mm hgt in 5 min

Had mattress inflating for 48hrs first time, still feel needs air. Best way to do this please? Do i have to rely on my lungs or can i use a pump electric or manual?

I recommend returning it and buying a Zempire Monstamat. I had the wanderer - it consistently lost air and was ballooning when I lay on it - the Zempire is bonded and very comfortable, I’ve had no issues and have used it many times over the last year.

Are spare valve caps available?

Just bought one of these, have had it inflating for about 2 hours, but only one side seems to be inflating. All four valves are open. Any ideas?

We let ours self-inflate yesterday but when two of us are sleeping on it, it has huge air pockets. We tried letting some air out but that didn't seem to make a huge difference. Any suggestions on how we fix this?

This is the main issue with these mats. The foam is not bonded/glued to the plastic, so it just balloons. Better mats are all bonded. We changed to a zempire one, but the valve slowly leaks on the zempire. You can’t win

Are there any instructions specific to the Wanderer Extreme Self Inflating mattress in regard to deflating Cheers Robert

Graeme B.
Graeme B.

No instructions. Only YouTube videos on inflating not much about first use as with my old one. It said to let it inflate for around 8 hours on initial unpack.

What is the easiest and most efficient way to deflate and pack mattress back into its carry bag?

Peter B
Peter B

Roll the mattress up tightly. I start the rolling at the end without the valves (which are at the far end and all out ie open), then I progressively roll and kneel on the rolled up part of the mattress as I go. When I get to the end I kneel on the rolled up mattress, insert and close the two side bungs, fit and tighten the two straps and then insert and close the two end bungs. The mattress then fits into its carry bag easily and will not expand. The hardest part is getting the first rolling done tightly enough.

Just bought a Q size mattress but it has no instructions with it. How do you inflate and deflate? There are 4 bungs but I’m not sure whether to open all or only 2 for inflation ?

Wiseandi

Just open all 4, let it inflate itself. Close 3, then put a few extra breaths into the 4th one before closing it up if you like. It’s pretty straightforward

its not recommended to breath into the mattress just let it take it's time. Breath contains water vapour and germs that you do not want growing inside the warm dark confines of your mattress.
