financial considerations took priority over patient care.
Following this, the quality of treatment deteriorated noticeably. Sessions became ineffective, poorly executed, and ultimately redundant. It was clear that once the arrangement no longer suited her, the level of care declined accordingly.
Most concerning was her attempt to justify discontinuing treatment by suggesting the patient could “do it themselves at home” — despite the fact that the purpose of seeing a massage therapist is to receive skilled, hands-on treatment that cannot be self-administered. This reflects a serious lack of professional judgement and understanding of clinical responsibility.
Her conduct demonstrated poor ethics, diminished skill application, and a willingness to exclude a patient in order to prioritise more financially favourable clients. This is not patient-centred care and falls well below acceptable professional standards.
I would not recommend this practitioner to anyone seeking ethical, consistent, or competent treatment. Patients deserve care that is not influenced by billing preferences, and this experience did not meet that expectation.
