Not worth buying Unreliable and Prone to Failure – Easy to use & good information but on the second time I tried to alter the setup the little button on the side of the scale stopped responding & was now stuck on Stone & Pounds not my preferred KG. A lot of communication with support who were sort of helpful and went from offering a 25% to a 50% discount on a replacement but they could not ship to Australia. In reality it probably would be cheaper for me to purchase a new identical scale on Amazon Prime with Free Shipping. I don't think so, I will make sure to purchase a locally supported option next time. Withings have good technology & some very expensive equipment but if it is not supported locally it is not worth buying. It was an expensive scale when purchased two and a half years ago and even more expensive now, I will not be purchasing another Withings scale. JB HiFi came to the rescue and gave a full refund for use in the store. I did buy another Withings scale but one with replacement batteries, hopefully this will have a longer life. I have been a JB HiFi customer for some years and when I appealed to them explaining the issues they had no hesitation in resolving the problem. Five stars to JB HiFi.

Withings service is extremely poor. Do not buy if you live outside the US i.e. Australia – Incredible poor service. After two-three years the scales no longer worked. I had to go back and forth over 4 weeks with question after question with their service department. In the end they said too bad we don't support Australia so here is a 25% discount on your next product but we won't post to Australia do you have a friend you can post to in the US? No I don't. Short life span of product and absolutely no service. They then came back with a 50% offer but still no way to get it to me.

WARNING – ***WARNING**** My $300 Withings scale died after only 3 years! OK, I accept that is beyond warranty (notwithstanding ACCC regulations) and Withings offered a 50% discount on a replacement BUT they refused to dispatch it to me as I am in AUSTRALIA - A premium product should last longer than that but beware Withings after sales service will leave you high and dry at least down here. Buy at your own risk, but there are alternatives out there.

Stopped working after 4 weigh ins – I purchased this product two to three months ago. It worked to begin with but seemed to be in a constant factory reset. This google links shows the exact problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bwViMzjAqk Im under warranty so going to get a new one. However, people who have exprienced this issue after 1 year of ownership got told by the company to buy a new one according to multiple reviews i've read. Given this happened with just 4 weigh ins I have no confidence that a replacement wont exhibit this behaviour. These scales are dear at over $200 and the company can't seem to get it right.

At the moment im maintaining permanent weight loss by going in and out of ketosis. Going in and out which means my weight can fluctuate by up to 6kg due to glycogen and water depletion. I was using this to track differences in water retention etc. So its very frustrating.

Will never purchase another product from Nokia Withings.
