Service was good Trevor was very helpful and professional and sorted out the problem but I was very disappointed that the shower head only lasted less than 2 years.

Alastair, the plumber who attended the job to fix the sink stopper device in the ensuite bathroom is very professional and polite. The bathroom is cleaned up after the job is done. The new stopper is working fine. Good job

for your prompt, reliable and friendly service. Joel explained fully the extent of what he thought was the issue and an estimate of the cost involved before he started the job. Once he had fully completed this time consuming job. He recommended that the 25 year old cistern which was a health hazard be replaced as well. surprised at what it cost to perform the repairs being what I feel was a little pricey. Having said that I am very happy with the end result.

Based on their advice, I also decided to have a third job completed—a spot dig to investigate a downpipe that was continually blocking. They discovered that the underground stormwater drain had previously been incorrectly connected to the agricultural (ag) drain, allowing soil to enter and repeatedly cause blockages. They corrected the connection and resolved the issue. I appreciated their clear explanation, honest advice, and professional workmanship throughout the entire process.

No doubt this explains why WP Plumbing engages in aggressive mail-drops to promote their business, as this would be necessary if you don't get any repeat customers.
One very good tip for anyone looking for a plumber that will not rip them off is to simply visit your local Reece (or other plumbing supply store) and ask if they could give you the name of a (local) plumber who will not rip you off like WP Plumbing is sure to do. No guarantees, but I am very confident you will do much better than getting a rip-off merchant like WP Plumbing. This is what I did, and the plumber they recommended to me charged about 25% of what WP Plumbing quoted, did not undertake unnecessary work that WP Plumbing intended to do, and did not mis-diagnose the cause of the problem which WP Plumbing did,

Glen and Michael turned up on time the following day. The repair was sorted within a couple of hours. The leak was in a very difficult spot as the clearance under the house was probably only about 40 centimetres and was a very muddy space to work in. Both guys were very professional and a delight to deal with. The only downside was the cost of the job. I was given an initial quote that I reluctantly accepted as the job needed to be done urgently. However on completion I thought that the quote should have been re assessed and the overall cost reduced. I did not take the issue up with the guys that attended as they were not responsible for the quote. I let it go at the time because on the plus side, I actually got an answer to my phone call on a Sunday which in itself is unusual, and I needed to job to be done fairly urgently, and I knew that the space that they had to work in was rather difficult. I have no issue with guys that turned up as they were very polite and professional, The only issue was the cost of the job.

They left my garden in a complete mess, refused to put my garden borders back, and threw grass seed on top of the dirt without raking it, leaving it for the birds to eat. When I asked them to leave the excess crushed rock they ordered in my backyard, they refused and threw it straight into the skip bin. I literally paid for materials they threw in the trash. When I asked one of the plumbers for a simple note about the tree roots they found, he flatly refused. Utterly zero care taken, zero transparency, and extortionate prices. Avoid them.

Very disappointing experience. I feel I was overcharged for a very basic service. The after hour call-out fee was $139, and after a simple Mo Flo treatment and plunge, the total came to $530 (including GST), which seems excessive for the work done. After this, I had another plumber come in who found and fixed the leak immediately. They put their ear to the wall and pointed straight to the leak, which was exactly he said it was. This makes the plumber from WP plumbing either incompetent or exploitative, or both.
I will never ever use WP Plumbing again and will tell anyone who listens to steer clear. Absolute crooks and the reason trades people get a bad name. This was the nightmare service people fear when engaging trade services.
