Smoke machine – I bought this back in Jan from Bunnings to cure some foam props I made. Within 1 minute of usage it began to smoke. I returned it to Bunnings and exchanged it for a new one, thinking it was a dud. I just used the replacement, and same same, within 1 minute on low heat it was smoking again. Show details
Dangerous – Only used this once for less than one minute and smoke started coming out of the back. Returning to Bunnings for refund. It was cheap but it is just not fit for purpose. Show details
Terrible and unsafe – Do not buy as you will be returning it. I used mine for not even ten minutes and not 10 consecutive Minutes just to melt the tops for candle making to smooth them off. The whole end casing melted and started smoking. I wished I had read the reviews first. Item was refunded. Unsafe to use. Doesn’t deserve a one star even Show details
Terrible – Like the other negative comments (which I unfortunately should have read before purchasing) the gun had smoke coming from the back and smelt terrible. I didn't feel safe using it. Show details
This is unsafe – This product is terrible and unsafe. I have purchased two from Bunnings in the last month and both have melted the outer plastic. It's really terrible this is sold to the public in this condition.
Definitely do not buy this XU1 heat gun – The heat gun designed to heat things, ended up damaging and melting itself from heat usage. The plastic around the nozzle area melted and produced a horrible smell. I really regret my purchase and this should not be sold in stores. Show details
Sub $30 Gem – It's heated plastic pipes for bending when doing some very basic plumbing and it's made paint bubble for easy scraping away. For something I will use so seldom, I could not see the point of paying loads more when this was sitting there (incl several attachments) ready to go at sub $30 (fraction of the cost of most).
