Cant handle simplest screw in wood projects – I’m shocked as I loved my last XU1 cordless drill. It was lightweight and I could use it for nearly any job I’m likely to do. This new one lacks power. Show details

Handy little drill – I work every day as a handyman and this drill is a great litte time saving tool. I use it a lot and it does the job. I mainly use it for screws in and out but sometimes drilling (mostly wood but also metal) and it holds up pretty well. After more than two years of regular use, the battery is starting to tire out faster so needs more regular… Read more

charging. When the battery is tired, the drill will stop under any heavy load, then will work again after a 5 second break. Time to charge! I know you're supposed to turn off the charger when the green light comes on but I always leave it beyond this so maybe that has affected the battery. However, today I just made a special order at Bunnings for a new battery for the modest price of $25. So, here's to many more years of using my little companion, the XU1 driver drill. Will happily recommend.

Perfect home tool – I'm using this for around 2 years with no issue. Wood, metal, or even bricks works perfectly with either drill or screwdriver. Very lightweight and handy. Definitely recommended for home usage and is very valuable. Show details

Value, at a price – Have four of these in two workshops. Never failed in what they’re asked to do. Speed is only 700 rpm which could be higher when drilling metal. Torque settings work well. A light weight drill, very handy. Happy with the product. Can’t beat the price. Show details

Powerless tool – Totally agreed with the first review! Can't drill holes on timber and can't even screw the nails...Nails kept jumping off, loose grip.... Tried 4 hours and in the end gave up trying! Not recommended at all! Will return to Bunnings tomorrow! This tool should be off the shelf!! Show details

Weaker than my hand, Avoid it! – It cannot unscrew a 75mm timber screw! Got it refunded. Cannot even satisfy DIY wood work. Cheap but not useful. What you pay is what you get. Luckily I can have refund from bunnings.
