Poor quality not worse at all – I was trying to buy a good bike for baby even this price is higher than other brand but very disappointed,so poor and cheap quality really surprise me, even each single part is poor, plastic types very easy to fall, how brave can sell such high price, not worse at all! Show details

Terrible- Avoid at all cost – Parts were flimsy and broke upon receipt- poor quality and generally complex to assemble- bought for son's birthday. Seat would not hold firm in place and constantly swiveled round. Product is essentially unusable and a total waste of money. Show details

No order received, no communication – We ordered a balance bike for our little boy for Christmas. We received an email stating it was shipped and would be delivered within 2-4 days. 12 days later still no bike and no response to email, phone call, messenger, or facebook post, which was deleted, so we know it was checked. Unfortunately, all I can review is the non-existent customer service. Unless they change their attitude I would advise not ordering from ZippiZap Show details

Do not order – Order placed on the 3rd of June and have not heard anything. I have sent emails and left voicemails, I want a full refund. Do not order from this site!

So happy we are buying a second one! – We brought our son one of the aluminium bikes for his 2nd birthday, he is now 3.5 and is still obsessed with it. He can ride a big bike but still prefers his balance bike because it is so lightweight and he can go much faster! It has been so thrashed and all we have had to replace is the hand grips. We are now about to buy our daughter one for her 2nd birthday. Best investment and would recommend it to anyone! Show details

Similar to a cruzee bike but quite not like it – The zippizap I bought for my son is a nice and light bike. It comes in a box and easy to put together. The quality however isn't like competitor and rival cruzee bikes. The washers aren't exactly the same measure, they look different from what illustrated on the instruction manual and this is resulting in a wobbly head tube, giving vibration when… Read more

riding. This can be tightened with the steering clamp but takes lot of work and if the bike is shared between two kids, it makes suddent adjustment hard. There is a high chance you will make it even more wobbly while re adjusting.

Called customer service and they said " we sold many bikes and never had any problem with it". I had to put some electrical tap around the top washer to solve the issue. Similar price, I would go for Cruzee bike next time which is higher quality.

Family favourite, great value – We absolutely love our ZippiZap, it's been such a smash hit with the kids. It's so nice to see them out and about and enjoying the park on their balance bikes. Great quality, no rust or punctures or damage and the kids are really putting it through the ringer at the moment. Would recommend to any parent wanting to encourage their kids to be active… Read more

and healthy, and learn better balance and motor skills. A great excuse to get out of the house! Cheers!

Very Nice Bike – I purchased this balance bike for my 2-year-old daughter who at the time of getting the bike was about 85cm tall. With the seat post down most of the way, the bike fit her perfectly and gave her lots of room for growth. We have used the bike now for almost 1 year as of writing this review. The balance bike came in a smallish sized box and assembly… Read more

was done in under 10 mins with the tools provided. The bike is made of a metal, aluminium maybe? It is very sturdy but quite very light. She is easily able to manoeuvre it herself. The bike is of great design and concept and was perfect for my daughter. After a week of non use, she finally started making progress on the bike and after a month started to sit on the seat and walk. 3 months later and she could run with the bike under herself and now she is very adept at handling all situations that arise. Using her feet to brake and being able to control her speed down big hills. She will be ready for a big persons bike soon but I don’t think we will rush it as she still loves her Zippizap.

Love our zippizaps! – I highly recommend buying these zippizap balance bikes. We started our 2 twins with them at the age of 2 and now are riding a big boys bike without training wheels at 3 and a half. It only took them 30 seconds to make the transition and we didn’t need training wheels. Even though they have mastered the pedal bike they still love jumping on their… Read more

balance bikes. They are nimble and we allow them to ride in the house. Its not ideal but Its better then watching cartoons or playing playstation on a rainy day. The frame are solid but lightweight. The wheels are still in great condition even though the abuse they have received. They have afew scratches but this is to be expected.

Excellent quality and features – I bought a zippizap balance bike for my 2 year old because of reviews I read online. A big plus for us was that it came with an extra long seat post so our large 4 year old could use it also. I am thrilled with the craftsmanship, quality and how light they are. Like other have already said, the foam, puncture proof wheels make so much sense for us… Read more

I don’t have time to repair punctures and pump up tyres every time we leave the house. We bought it for Christmas so its still relatively new. He is just starting to walk with the bike underneath him but he is more interested in the zippizap scooter we bought him at the same time. Im sure it wont be long until he is zipping about on it though as our 4 year old however has really taken to it. He has even started to scoot around on 2 wheels and lean into turns. Highly recommended.

Great Balance bike! Just what we wanted for our daughter – We purchased this bike off the Zippizap New Zealand website [link removed] for $129.95. Delivery took 3 working days which felt ages as i think my husband and i were more excited then our 2 year old. When the bike came it certainly didn't disappoint. We bought the pink model ( i cant remember what is was called) and it looks great. It was easy to… Read more

put together (for my husband) and my daughter was off and riding it in no time. To start with she would just walk around with it holding the handlebars, but after some time she popped a leg over and started to sit on the seat. She isn't quite at the stage of zooming around yet but is getting the hang of it slowly. She loves it and even took it to bed one night. Can't wait till she gets really good. The quality of the bike is top notch and i would recommend it.

Poor customer service – I actually wanted to buy one of these bikes for my son, I contacted them both on their website contact form and by email and no one has ever responded. If this is how bad their customer service is when you want to buy a bike, I can imagine what it would be like if I had a problem with their product! Very poor!

Best Balance Bike Ever – We have 1 Zippizap shared between both our 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. They both fight over it like crazy. The quick release seat and handle bars makes it perfect as our 4-year-old is quite tall. Top quality, durable and lightweight. Would recommend.

Cant get him off it – We bought this bike for our 18 month old after doing research online. After much encouraging he finally started to become interested in riding it at 20 months and walking with his bum on seat. Not long after he was running with it and at about 24 months he was scooting everywhere. Now we cant get him off it, Its so light and durable. We literally… Read more

take it everywhere. He loves the independence. He cant walk 500m to the shops however he can ride there and back easily on his Zippizap. Now all my mothers group have them.
