I previously owned the "Made in Switzerland" model of this food chopper and it was an absolutely brilliant product that gave me ~20 years of faultless operation!!! I recently purchased a replacement the "Zyliss Zick Zick" (essentially the same product but Made in China). It broke on the second use !!! I was chopping celery. A plastic internal part just cracked and snapped off. The product was poorly manufactured - the parts ill fitting. Whether this was just poor quality control and I was unlucky IDK but I would strongly advise anyone not to buy this product. It's rubbish.
