Charged card during free trial & won’t refund – DO NOT SIGN UP SND DEFINITELY DO NOT GIVE YOUR CARD DETAILS!!

With 6 days left of free trial, I noticed an ancestry.com charge on my card for $80AU. I cancelled my membership immediately and then rang customer support who advised that they do not have a record of the payment and nothing they could do. I asked to speak with supervisor who said email through bank statement showing charge and would investigate. The support email provided (same and only one found on website) bounced back saying this email is unmanned.

I had to cancel card at bank to prevent further unauthorised debits and out of pocket $80
