received quotes from GJs, Masterton and Hotondo and GJ presented the best package deal. They went over and beyond to help me out of the bad situation I was in. They also picked up on a lot of issues with the plans that Masterton and Hotondo did not, which saved me a lot of money. Working with the team they honestly made me feel like I was a part of their family. Danielle was amazing and always so quick to deal with and always a phone call away. Luke was also a legend and I could not believe how fast he completed the first half of the project. Our land did not have access to power and Luke went above and beyond with his contacts to help fix the issue. The build was done within the contract period and Luke did everything he could to finish earlier. An amazing builder with a fantastic experience and result.

While I still stand by my comments regarding the pre-construction phase, which was frustrating due to delays, poor communication and changing timelines, I have to give credit where it is due. Once construction commenced, our experience was completely different.

Our Site Supervisor, Kane, was outstanding throughout the build. Communication was clear, issues were addressed promptly, and the build progressed smoothly with little to no delays. We were genuinely surprised by how quickly and efficiently the home came together after such a difficult start.

The quality of the finished home is excellent overall and we are very happy with the end result. Aside from a few minor paintwork imperfections, there is very little we can fault about the construction itself.

The reason I wouldn’t rate the experience a full 10/10 is solely due to the pre-construction stage. However, the construction team, particularly Kane, restored a lot of our confidence and delivered a home that we are proud of.

If Homebuyers Centre could improve communication, transparency and expectation-setting during pre-construction, our experience would easily have been a 10/10.

concerns regarding my home, which is still under warranty. One of the major issues was a significant crack in an internal wall. Jason visited my property, thoroughly inspected the issue, and explained that the crack was likely caused by land settlement. He recommended that I have the caulking completed immediately to help prevent further movement, which proved to be very effective.

A year later, Jason returned to reassess the situation. After carefully inspecting the crack, he confirmed that it had not deteriorated further, giving me confidence that the land had fully settled. During this visit, he also took the time to patiently listen to and document several other concerns around the home.

What impressed me most was Jason’s commitment to resolving the issues. Following our discussion, he promptly organised the necessary tradespeople, and all the repairs were completed within 10 days.

Jason was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about ensuring that all concerns were properly addressed.
