Pros: first class coffee
Overall: I love how this machine gives the perfect crema on top when making the long/short black that lasts until the cup is finished.
I bought this for my sweetheart and it's the best prezzie he has had and thinks of me each morning he has a cup of coffee.
The machine comes apart easily for cleaning so that is a huge bonus not to mention the no mess factor because of the coffee pods.

Pros: Reliable, fast, easy to use. There's a reason they selected this machine to prepare their coffees in the Nespresso stores.
Cons: Froth levels.
Overall: Great machine. I was never really into coffee but after we got this machine at work I had to get one for my home! The wife loves it too!
Had it for a few months now and the only real complaint is the froth levels. As is widely reported, DeLonghi dropped the ball on this for those wanting a good flat white. The only real workaround is to either scoop out the excess froth, or have the milk prepared in a separate jug - but this kinda defeats the purpose of the one-touch button system.
If you can live with that, then I definitely recommend this machine.

Pros: Quick and easy
Cons: Doesn't do flat white and there is a hug amount of froth even if you turn the knob to low froth.
Overall: It's great but not if you want a flat white. The knob that allows you to regulate the froth seems to allow you to have either an enormous amount of froth or just a huge amount of froth. Love that it requires minimal cleaning though and it is very simple to use. Turn it on, plug in the milk, put the capsule in and press a button!

Cons: They don't make a hot chocolate capsule
Overall: We received the Delonghi Nespresso Expresso Machine as a gift, gone are the days of boiling the kettle. All that you need with this machine is to make sure the milk is topped up, check the water and add a capsule. My husband is lazy and he now makes his own coffee (usually a couple though). He also makes them in the morning in a travel mug and saves on stopping and buying a coffee on the way to work. The machine tells you when it needs descaling which was so simple to do and the milk container is dishwasher proof. Perfect for those who like a great coffee without the mess and effort.

Pros: Super easy
Cons: Only thing is you have to order pods online you can't buy in a shop
Overall: So quick and easy just put in the cold milk and water add the pod choose your size and within a minute done! The froth is delicious and just like at a cafe. The pods are apparantly smaller than other brands but have full flavour and there is a great variety. As others have mentioned so easy to clean. If you are making a few cups it is still so quick and easy that you can sit and enjoy with friends and not be standing there making them as others enjoy.

Pros: Easy to use and clean
Overall: After using a Lattissima while house sitting I just had to go out and buy my own! It is so easy to use, takes up little space and it almost cleans itself. I love the way the milk dispenser slides out and can be placed straight in the fridge for storage. I was thinking about buying the smaller Pixie model but am so glad I didn't.

Have had this machine for a few months now and love it.
the only problem is that it does not make a hot cup of coffee.
Well that is until I went inot the Nespresso shop wherer their cofee was serioudsly hot.
Does anyone know how long or how many runs it takes to make a hot coffee.
And if so do yuo just run the coffee through a used pod for a couple of times to get it hot

Pods only but you can buy a coffee duck and pack your own coffee via a reusable pod system from ebay

One of the buttons on the right hand bottom side has turned orange does anyone know how to fix that ????

If you check the manual it might mean it probably needs descaling. If its a new machine it may be faulty. Hope it helps

I totally agree. There is a self cleaning button, but milk tube rinses clean under running water. I think it is great!!
