No time saver! – We inherited the machine brand new in our apartment. Takes too long to wash and dry. Also dries badly. I was reduced to having to take the washing out (while still damp) in order to be able to wash another load. Has stopped working mid load? Would never recommend this machine or this type of machine.

Only had this unit for one day so limited on comments – From reading all the reviews about combos I'm not sure that people understand how they work. Condenser driers all take longer to dry even the $2000 stand alone units. This is normal. The up side is you don't get all that condensation on your walls. I put my firt loat through and the wash and dry was perfect. Still have that rubber smell I'm guessing it's because it is new.

You can also just do a dry cycle auto or timed. Clothes go in dirty and come out clean and dry. There are so many programs. It's not a samsung or lg. Haven't owed a front loader but the pump is a little noisy. I'm assuming this is normal and is probably not as loud as most.

I loath this thing – I bought this because of the water saving aspects. I knew that Front Loaders take longer than a top loader but thought that I could live with it. I rang Electrolux prior to buying this machine to see if they could give me indicative timings for wash cycles, they said they couldn't. I have found if I want to do a hot wash, this machine take 2 hours 40 minutes. A rinse cycle by itself takes 1 hour 23 minutes. I have since spoken to Electrolux who said this is perfectly acceptable for a water saving machine. Why couldn't they have told me the timing prior to purchase. If I had known I would never have bought this machine.

The time it takes, Lint on clothes is a problem, I now have to wash everything inside out.

Pros - washes really well, and is fairly quiet except when winding up for the spin, doesn't seem to use much power at all either

Cons - have had 3 faults in 3.5yrs with it, covered by warranty however you have to stay home all day as they don't give an appt window, so if a guy comes to look, then it needs to go away and then you need to get it back from repair shop that's 3 full days lost :(

I also find it puts lint on everything so have had to start washing inside out or putting in wash bags.

I wouldn't buy this again as too many issues with it and too finicky i.e. can't set a favourite program so always having to change to cold water

Complete Waste Of Money – I purchased this machine for the convenience of having a drier combined. After the first few months I gave up using the drier as it will only take such a small load of clothes. Also, I found that when it was actually working the drier was too hot and shrunk some of the clothes. Clothes also came out extremely wrinkled as well. After some time the drier failed to work. I have had a repair man come out to this machine four times over 4.5 years. Fortunately I took out extended warranty, as I really needed it. Each time the repair man came out I complained that the drier did not work. He would leave saying the drier component was Ok. But it was heating the top of the machine, not the inside with the clothes. Consequently it never dried anything, and would cut out before the set time. I am three months short of the warrenty expiring, and the machine is breaking down again. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I have given up and have now purchased a Haier twin tub washing machine. No more expensive complicated machines for me. I paid around $1,300 for the electrolux and it has been nothing short of disappointing. I will admit that when it did wash, it did a good job, but it could take any where from 1 hour to 2 hours per load. The Haier has a wash cyclye of between 1 minute to 15 minutes, so is so fast it makes up for any shortcomings in having to transfer wash to spin, and I only paid $370 for the Haier. Bottom line is that I paid top dollar for the electrolux washer drier and paid top dollar for an appliance that did not deliver. Would NEVER recommend this product to anyone. Washed clothes well The drier stopped working and was never repaired properly. The washer keeps breaking down.

Good but – It works, it is quiet, put on b4 u go to bed and it is done in the morning. Dont like that you are locked into the set programs "Cotton" etc etc. Also if you want cold water you have to manually change setting within the program setting. I would like to be able to set dryer, spin and water temperature independently like I could with my old Bendix. capacity is good Cant set to just spin, or just dry
