Good machines I can rely on – I bought a washing machine and dryer to stack last year and they have been great. The reminders that jobs are complete are handy when I have so many jobs going on. What I really like with the condenser dryer is that clothes come out "fluffed up" and not in a knot. I have a person come in weekly in support and she loves the dryer. The only issue I have had, has been an odd sound coming from the laundry that I might hear once a week, as if a clutch or motor engaged. So quickly does it happen and infrequently, that you can’t track it. This happens despite machines being OFF

Avoid! – Washing machine was fine until it wasn't and stopped working. Waiting a week now for a service call from the service dept at Electrolux who are a disaster. I will never have another one if their products ever again.

Best washer dryer! – Best condenser dryer! Amazing! I purchased this washer dryer combo to replace an old LG washer dryer combo. I did a lot of research before deciding on which unit to buy and I'm so glad I decided to buy this one. Wash and drying times are similar to other washer dryers. It cleans the clothes well, but I do find that it does crease the clothes (even though it has an anti-crease function) if it spins higher than 1000 RPM (it goes up to 1400 RPM spin cycle). It is generally quiet except when taking on water or removing water when drying. What I love the most about this machine is the dryer! I struggled for so many years with my old LG dryer always leaving my clothes damp and having to put them in the dryer twice and sometimes they still were wet. This dryer is amazing :) it has three drying levels - I like to use the middle level as this dries the clothes perfectly- ready to put into the drawer without overdoing it so that the clothes shrink. Don't Freak out when you see the initial time it says it takes to dry. It generally doesn't take that long between 1-2 hours depending on the load. The initial time on drying mode will adjust to the load and finish when the clothes are ready. I've only had this washer for a few months now and I'm in love with it, I'm so grateful I've purchased it and I hope that it will continue to perform solidly for many years to come. only issue i have is its a bit low to the ground and i cant seem to find a pedestal that is compatible anywhere fast forward 8 months and my wonderful dryer has stopped working! apparently the position of the wires connected to the dryer sit above the drum so when the drum moves it rubs a against these wires... beware putting anything unbalanced in the washing machine as this will eventually wear the cables down. apparently this is also an issue if the washer is unbalanced. If you ask me it's a stupid place to put cables... anyway i called support and it is covered by warranty, but it's been 6 weeks and counting waiting for them to be able to get the new parts

Impressive performance - not reliable – I bought this machine to replace a Haier washing machine that was purchased as it was what I could afford at the time when I was desperate for a new machine, and an aging LG dryer. I was apprehensive of purchasing a washer/dryer combo as I would be downsizing from an 8kg dryer to a 6kg dryer, and had read reviews of things not drying correctly. I bit the bullet and purchased from Appliances Online (who were freaking amazing as normal, taking away the old washer and dryer for free).

First load I put through was some gym gear on the WashDry60 cycle. Sceptical a small load would be washed and dried within 60 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised to be proved wrong. My gym gear come out clean, dry and ready to wear.

The machine can cope with 10 bath towels for a wash and dry cycle, completing in 6 hours.

One downside is yes, it does take longer than washing, transferring, then drying, however the fact that one machine takes care of the whole process massively outweighs this negative. I work at home and love being able to chuck a load of laundry on before I start work, and before I finish the laundry is ready to put away. Massive plus.

The machine has a great choice of cycles, however wish there was more visibility around the SensorWash feature. I know it is supposed to adapt the wash time based on soiling levels and change rinse numbers based on detergent residue, however some feedback and transparency on screen or via the app on what changes are made would be nice.

Speaking of the app, it is handy but buggy. I find the care assistant often doesn’t provide a cycle suggestion, and doesn’t update unless you force it to close and reopen it. I have signed up to the Beta to give feedback. The best feature of this however is the notification sent to my phone and watch when the cycle ends. I love this. It also has the ability to schedule a cycle (e.g. choose an approximate time for the cycle to finish). While you can delay start from the machine, choosing an approx finish time is handy.

In terms of times, the cycle times communicated are pretty accurate. With my Haier, I knew if it said 60 minutes, it was really about 75. This seems more accurate with the time being reduced by SensorWash when the clothes aren’t heavily soiled. As well as the screen telling you the countdown, the app also will tell you the time the cycle is expected to finish.

The wash quality is good. I haven’t had anything come out needing a rewash.

The drying is good too, the sensor dry works well. Like other condenser dryers I have used, clothes can feel “wet” when pulled out of the machine, however a quick 5 second shake and they feel perfectly dry. It seems to be a weird phenomenon with condenser dryers.

The dispenser is good, however find the thicker laundry liquids I use doesn’t always dispense fully. I would much rather it had a syphon to ensure the liquid is fully dispensed. I have found using the dispenser set for powder detergent when using this works ok.

I also bought the Electrolux branded pedestal - it raises the machine to a much more comfortable height. While the back brackets didn’t fit into the machine, it seems secure enough without.

It also annoys me the door can’t be opened anytime during the cycle. My previous machines would allow this as long as the water wasn’t hot or over the door. I would love to be able to run a wash+dry load and be able to remove an item or two before the drying starts as opposed to doing two cycles.

Overall, no regrets, highly recommend this machine.

Edit - 28/5 The machine stopped making the beep sound and started making a weird sound when drying. Electrolux replaced it with a machine that sensor dry was broken on. Electrolux (after a 90 minute phone call), then credited Appliances Online who delivered a third machine and took the broken one back the next day. Provided this machine works, I am still very happy and would still recommend. The wash and dry performance is brilliant.

Update 12/10 After 2 tech visits and three replacement machines, it was refunded. Would not recommend.
