7 years – I have been using this one for 7 years. It actually last longer than I expected. The washing is good. The dryer is not so great (take too long to dry and sometimes doesn’t dry properly. So we don’t use the drying function much except on a rainy day. 7 years and counting with 2 young kids. I think it does an amazing job. Show details
I bought a faulty washing machine/dryer from Samsung – I bought a Samsung washer/dryer it has been faulty from the day I bought it . It’s been fixed about 10 times & broken down again Samsung will not replace the washer dryer as it’s just out of warranty. Samsung need to replace there faulty equipment after many years of problems & now trying to make me pay for a faulty item which is broken again.not… Read more
good enough Samsung. If you are a respectable company you will replace my machine with your incompetence I’m stuck with no machine second hand parts please pull your finger out and replace your broken equipment
This unit is a ok washer but terrible dryer – This unit was purchased in 2012 for ~$1400. The current version of this is about $1900. I would use it to wash 2 loads of laundry a week. Generally my clothes and than a linen wash of sheets and towels. 2 loads of about 3/4 the total capacity. I than dried my work uniform when it was winter due to inclement weather. In under a year it had to be… Read more
serviced under a warranty claim for overheating when used as a dryer. This fixed the error message but the unit was no longer usable as a dryer. Considering I already had it for 2-3 months before this occurred it is very disappointing. I should have returned the unit for a refund at the time but was ignorant of my consumer rights.
Five years later it came up with a new error message. E3/ E4. This appears to be a pump error code. Again bearing in mind it was 2 loads a week and the pump failed on a very expensive machine
Samsung has been less than helpful. Their own customer representative describes this as a premium model from its time. As such it should have lasted longer. It should have kept full function. It is a disappointment in the end. It served a partial use for a time but I could have better spent my money.
Use is okay. The programs really do not get used. The only preprogrammed functions are quick wash, super eco wash (with out hot water) and drum clean. The others are just advertising fluff. It takes a while and obviously the door locks shut as with any front loader. The trade off is better efficiency in electricity and water consumption.

Excellent product – I have this installed under the bench in my kitchen, This is an excellent machine with washer and dryer combined perfect for apartment living. Washes and drys clothes perfectly there is also a short 15 minute wash cycle that is really handy. This is a quiet machine, a great purchase Show details
Happy User – This is first time buying a front loader washing machine. What i like about this washing machine the ease of used, have it own hot water unit and the washing programs. The dry is ok it works as long you don not over load it, best to be at the machine when drying is finishing to remove the close. Some of the Bad points: programs are slow but… Read more
it only me in the house, The Washing machine vibrates, i not going to blame Samsung for this as i living in a old house a not able to get the washing machine 100% level. I will be moving soon so i hope it will be better. So would i buy another Washer Dryer Combo - Yes It coming up 4 years and i have no other problems with it and hope it will go for another 6 years
It's ok depends on one requirement – As I said depends on what one is looking for cheap u all should know u get what u pay for .like me didn't won't to pay to much but at the same time I had a front loader bendex front loader for 5 years still working but the stabilise shockers that give in and hard to get so with the Samsung I don't know how long it will last. Just don't over load… Read more
them not like top loaders .as for dryer well it's not perfect but get u out of trouble it washing pretty good depends on the detergent or washing machines have a problem depends whether is made on Monday or Friday I've had mine over a year and a half I'm pretty happy touch "wood "
Dryer doesn't dry and wash died at 5 years – I chose this machine because of the wash/dry option as we have a kitchen/laundry combined. The dryer never dried even after 4 hours (wash then dry setting) so I didn't use the dryer often then about 3 years in the dryer error code HE3 came on and I stopped using the dryer completely. We just hit 5 years and the wash came up with error 4E Show details
Sprung a leak within 3 years, failed completely within 4 – Initially we were quite happy with our purchase until a few washes in when the water hammer began to take effect (must have been time for the air in our pipes to be pushed out, just a guess since I am not an expert). I purchased an anti-hammer device from Bunnings which tamed it slightly but still not enough to have the washing machine on… Read more

Anyway, we resigned ourselves to live with that until about 2-2.5 years in it started leaking a little water. Well, I eventually got some time to look into it and it turns out to be a common problem with these machines, the top of the detergent dispenser drawer cracks and water gushes out the top of the drawer raining down on the drum and electrics within the machine. If you notice this, please get onto it quick otherwise your machine will rust like ours did. So I fixed that at around $130-ish for the spare drawer and all was well again until 2 months later when it decided to start banging. The washing machine was perfectly level but when I had taken it apart to fix the drawer, I noticed the grey plastic holding the drum against the front of the machine had split, this coupled with the rust on one of the suspension arms meant that this dog had had its day.
I was extremely disappointed with the build quality of this machine, I expected more from Samsung and was let down in a big way. I didn't want to repair it since it would end up being about half the value of it new. Ended up buying a Bosch to replace it and so far it has been like night and day, I will review that machine after I've had it for a couple of months. As a side note, as the guy was taking the machine away, a big chunk of concrete like material fell out of it (it had been gradually being chipped away as it smashed into its sides furiously for the last month on spin cycles)
Steer clear of this combo, not worth the expense or headache!
Save yourself the trouble and don't bother getting this machine – Stay away from this Washer/Dryer Combo. If I could give a no star rating I would. Bought the machine brand new in April 2015, it is only 1.5 years old and has been plagued with problems since Oct 2016 - It is now Jan 2017 and the problems are still not fixed. -HE2 error (which was "repaired" and reoccurred 2 months after repair) -Cheap… Read more
plastic spinners that tumble the clothes inside the drum have cracked and broken off over the past year and a half leaving rough edges and plastic all throughout my clothes EVERYTIME I do a wash
-Washing machine leaking in any wash cycle (not the hoses or connections)
When the machine did function properly it used to do an OK clean on the clothes. Dryer function however was consistently poor and clothes came out wet even when the load was half full as recommended by samsung.
Currently my family is without a washing machine going on a week after being told that I would get it back in a few days. Machine is still under warranty but no option for a loan machine while its being repaired, not offered a refund or even a replacement from Samsung. Do yourself a favour and invest in a better quality brand. I would've paid double what I did for this piece of junk for reliability and the time and stress I could've saved myself.
Slow, but steady – Despite some of the other reviews on here, I bought this machine because it fit all my criteria. It's reasonably quiet, it can do washing & drying in one go, and it doesn't produce lint (almost all of it goes down the drain). The lint factor is huge for me. My previous machine sprayed lint everywhere whenever I would dry a load, leaving my… Read more
apartment filled with dust. This machine keeps it all internal and washes it down the drain, so there's none of that. There's a small lint filter, but the manual suggests cleaning it once every few months (rather than every load).
The all-in-one feature is great as well. The dry cycle is slow, but it's perfect to put on overnight and have clean clothes waiting in the morning. This does a good job of both washing and drying, there are no complaints at all from me.
The only point I will add is that it's a slightly larger than my previous front loader, and doesn't fit very well in my laundry space. If you only have a small space, make sure you measure it.
Overall, this is a great machine as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.
burns holes in our clothes - the worst machine ever made !!!!!! – we have always purchased samsung products, and when we decided to have a baby we needed a new machine. from the first 2 weeks we had this machine it has burnt holes in my babies clothes. we have had repair person out who couldnt figure it out twice, samsung refuse to give us any form of refund even though we have kept the clothes it has burnt as… Read more
evidence, the lady from samsung suggested I use the local laundry matt for my babies things as it continues to burn OUR BABIES THINGS, after I came home to a laundry full of smoke . we are left $800 out of pocket with a machine that has burnt hundreds of dollars of clothes, that now sits in the garage unable to use it !!!! shame on you samsung !!! DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps other people have stated the same problem with burning fabrics and smoke coming from the machine !!!!
Washing machine 10/10 dryer a poor 0/10 – As a washing machine this item is great and as a dryer it is hopeless. I had a samsung front loader previously and was super happy with this so when I decided I needed a space saving option I sold my dryer and washing machine and purchased this. I am so unhappy with the dryer part of this machine and regret buying. I use to be able to put damp… Read more
clothes on for 30mins in my old dryer, now it's over 2hrs and the clothes still do not dry. I feel that samsung should not be able to call this a washer/dryer combo as the dryer is non exsistant. If I could return on the basis of being extrely unhappy I would but unfortunately I'm stuck with this or buying a new one. I have also seen samsung have discontinued this machine, I wonder if it is because how terrible the dryer is.
Great Dual Washer/Dryer – This is really a great item, it washes and dries very well, the only downfall is once the cycle starts, both washing and drying, you cannot open the door if you wish to add or remove an item. It locks the door until cycle has finished. But the machine is value for money.

Poor Product – This machine arrived faulty, error code on first wash! . When the technician was notified they didn't need to see the machine, they knew the problem from other customers and would need to order 3 parts to fix it! Luckily I bought it from appliances on line and they were willing to exchange the washer /dryer it for a front loader washer only! I… Read more
changed brands immediately...I do not want a brand that would send out a known faulty machine. I would suggest strongly that you DONT BUY THIS MACHINE!
How does the dryer work? – I have read the comments and I see so many people having the same problem as me. I would give the wash cycle 11/10 I love it but my clothes are still wet after the dry cycle. Can somoen point me into the direction of drying for dummies.?
Great for those with limited space! – Went to the Good Guys to buy a separate washer and dryer but after reading bad reviews on the Electrolux products took a look at the Samsung washer/dryer instead. Very happy with my decision as the Samsung is really quiet and great fit for my one bedroom apartment (doesn't need a vent can bathroom fan is enough). This is my first experience with a… Read more
front loader too, fits a substantial amount of clothes and the dryer function works well too. energy efficient, quiet, long warranty, no belt (inverter), air dry feature (good for getting smoke smells out of clothes),good value for money. Dryer is smaller so takes getting used to (i.e. right clothes ratio for drying) and the door can get sight bit of lint if dryer is turned on after washer straight away (easily cleaned though won't stop me from recommending it)
Excellent machine, particularly for apartment living! – I've had zero problems with this excellent machine. It is quiet, has great washing options and in all honesty is my favourite piece of furniture in my apartment. It doesn't damage clothes in any way and the drying option has been a life saver. I particularly like the delayed finish setting. Nothing better than waking up in the morning to warm socks and underwear! Luxury. Reliable, energy efficient and great features
Great washin machine – This machine has alot of options for cleaning cloths and dryin I am really impressed. Have been lookin for the right machine for awhile. Uses less detergent, a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Has a setting u can put ur favourite in so u just push one button and away it goes. Great price great machine. Quieter and cleaner cloths. Great water saving.
Too long time to wash – Company set timing cotton wash for 1 hour 50 minutes Drying takes 2.57 hours Bought from good guys and told by guy ''wash in the morning take out in the evening and put on dry in the evening take out in the morning'' I thought it was joking ! later called Samsung and good guys they told each other to handle and at last they told too… Read more

Excellent Washer/ Dryer Combo - Great Quality at Great Price – I purchased this item through Harvey Norman's Factory Outlet for $994 with a $250 Samsung Cash Back Promotion. And I love it.. it washes the clothes brilliantly, leaving them smelling fresh and clean. The prewash has impressed me as well, as I use half the amount of napisan I used in my top loader & it removes stains more effectively too (I wash… Read more · 1
a lot of baby items which get food stains). Quiet, compact machine with lots of functions that are easy to work out. I also love the baby wash cycle which offers additional rinse cycles to eliminate any soap residue (if any). Only downside is the drying time which does tend to take at least 2 hours depending on amount of clothes in the drum. I find the 4kg dryer sufficient as I tend to remove non-clothes-dryable items such as my hubby's work shirts and hang them on the clothes line so only require one load of the dryer per wash compared with other people who have said they need at least 2 loads to do all their drying needs. I do miss a lint filter not being present which I only found out wasn't there until after I'd purchased it. Wondering if this will be an issue long-term. The fact you don't need a ventilated room for this combo unit is great as it doesn't make the room humid or moist at all. I found the cash back redemption easy to do online and hassle-free. I would highly recommend this product! Nice looking, easy to use machine with great features (eg baby wash cycle); ability to alter no. of rinse cycles/ spin speed etc; quiet; compact; great value for money Dryer does take at least 2 hours per load to dry clothes; no lint filter
An inferior product – I just got the washing/drying combo two days ago and I'm ready to return it and get my money back. The wash cycles are incredibly long and it doesn't dry my clothes. I have to continue using my separate dryer which defeats the purpose of having a combo. As I am typing this review, my desk and computer are shaking from the spin cycle. The entire… Read more
house is shaking. So much for a quiet washing machine. Whoever wrote raving reviews must be liars or employed by Samsung. By the way, should there be a fan for the dryer to dry the clothes? There is no air being blown on my clothes, the drum just heats up and tumbles. I presume this is why it takes 3 hours for clothes to dry.

Quiet & Quality Product! – I have limited space in my apartment, so the idea of a washer/dryer seemed to be a perfect idea. After looking around I found the Samsung to be the best bang for the buck, and I'm really glad I did, cause its been leaving my clothes smelling great and it's so quiet, the only time you can hear it is when it's in the final rinsing stage and hitting… Read more
1400 rpm. I also found it very easy to work with and I like having many options to clean with... no more trips to the laundry mat for me! Energy efficient, quiet, washes well & priced right! Not the biggest con, but it doesn't dry 7.5 kg of laundry, so if washing a full load, you have to dry in halves.

Great!! – Washes my partners chef clothes so they look almost new. I can do hand washing clothes on the slowest spin. I only use the dryer when i cant hang my clothes out but never had a problem with it. Highly reccomended machine. Havent had any problems with it at all. different wash cycles, efficent with both highly soiled and delicate clothes
Hopeless Unit. Worthless – Bought this machine 5 years ago and I can't count how many times I have been stuck at the Laundromat with my 2 small children because I am waiting for the repair man to fix my machine.. AGAIN. Now that the warranty has expired, I am throwing it out. Samsung did not want to hear me out or help me out and usually I am a big Samsung fan.. Spare… Read more
yourself the frustration and just buy a washer & a dryer seperately. I won't buy Samsung again..
Doesn't dry properly, does the most anoying sing song that goes forever once it has stopped. Constantly needs services and repairs and parts. Too many things that can go wrong.
Absolute rubbish – Thank God I'm only renting mine, but still not happy Short wash only 15 mins but only spins at 800rpm so clothes still really damp, so you need to put it on another spin for 14 mins spinning at 1400rpm...ok I could live with that but what I cannot and refuse to live with is the fact if I wanna just dry something at the least amount of time it… Read more
takes just under 3 hours...but wait clothes still not dry but damp...or if I wanna do a wash / dry combo it takes just over 4 hours and clothes still not dry...but damp.
Absolute rubbish, this machine is meant to be a put on and walk away i did that and in the morning I had to rewash clothing coz it hadn't dried and stunk...hell I've tried all different ways of setting it but all come short of what I call a good machine all ways suck more.
Seriously who wants a machine that takes so long...
I want a machine that washes my clothes within 30 mins and spining at least 1200rpm and a dryer that actually drys my clothes completely in no longer than a hour at the absolute most with a heavy load. This wash dry combo is a big wastes of time, money and no doubt power. I'm sorry for all who buy it.
Awesome Washing Machine – I've had this unit for about a week now. I have ran it though 15min quick cycle, Eco wash [1h32] and normal Cotton cycle [1hr53mins]. So far so good. The wash cycle times are clearly marked and counts down as the cycle progresses, so you know when to expect the cycle to finish. Some people have said that the machine is slow, but I think that's… Read more
to be expected with a low energy and low water consumption, the soap needs more time to do it work, instead of the machine. Either way, the unit tells you what to expect, so for those who are impatient, they can all ways use the 15min cycle.
I have yet to run the drying cycle on any laundry loads yet, however I bought this machine with the drying capability as a back up, and to be used only when necessary. For instance in winter when clothes don't air dry as well as they do in summer.
I think this unit is a really good space saver, since its the one unit, perfect for Apartments/small units. As load capacity is leaning towards smaller domestic units, such as singles and couples. Probably not recommended for larger families.
In summary, this unit has lived up to my expectations, as I did my research and made sure that its features matched my needs. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who is limited in space and does not completely rely on the dryer but as a last resort option, then this is the unit for you. Quiet operation, lots of washing options, built in dryer, count down timer, relatively affordable price
Not so happy – I bought this product from the Good Guys for $1089 and at first it was amazing. However, after only a month the machine started to make incredibly loud noises on the 1400RPM spin which could be heard throughout the house. Then the machine started to move all over the place and not stay still. I contacted Samsung who said a technician would be in… Read more

Did you get your problem sorted out? I'm looking at getting a samsung washer at the moment. Thanks, :)
Wonderful! – Our poor old Hoover front loader finally died after 11 years of faithful service so I did some talking to family & friends & eventually settled on three machines to look at. A Bosch ($1499), a Whirlpool ($1599) & this Samsung ($1100). Once I got into the store I had a look at the Bosch & the Whirlpool & when I finally found the Samsung I was… Read more · 5
delighted to see it marked down to $659!!
As the machines were all fairly similar I bought the Samsung...so far it has been fabulous! Super quiet, the hand wash function is so gentle I've even done woollens in it & the denim function with a pre-wash sorts out my hubby's disgusting work overalls!
The 1400RPM spin speed (variable to as low as 400RPM for delicates) cuts drying time considerably by spinning more water out of the garments so I've already saved money on my power bill in this wet weather (having to use the dryer). High spin speed, hand wash cycle, huge 7.5kg capacity! You really do need to pop small things (socks, etc) into a bag or they get stuck in the door seal & don't wash...but once you figure this out (or actually read the instructions) you get a laundry bag & use it & it's all good!
very disappointed – did not get what i paid for. the dryer is hopeless just seems to warm the clothes and not dry would not recommend this model very disappointed with the appliance except for the washing machine function which is excellent but i bought a washer dryer combo not just a washing machine ..... just the washing function the dryer is hopeless
