obsolete. I wanted an OLED or QLED TV, but at the time, the only sizes with those were 55" upwards. I did not want a very big TV.

The fellow at Noel Leeming showed me three same-sized Panasonics - a normal one, this one (with 200Hz) and an OLED one. While I could clearly see the difference between the basic and this one, I couldn't see any real difference with the OLED. So I got this one, at NZ$1,000 cheaper. It had more than I expected - all the jacks and connections I didn't even know how to use, Bluetooth, Internet connection, etc.

Because I was working late shifts and missing out on TV programs, from what I saw on YouTube, I hooked up a hard drive to one of the rear ports (double-sided tape secured the unit to the back), and just like that, I can record using the TV remote! I also use a Bluetooth headset with it, so I can hear what's on TV while cooking due to the noisy range hood.

Of course, as good as the screen is, the picture is only as good as the signal it is fed, so the brilliance depends on what the TV stations air. I haven't tried fitting my wireless keyboard and mouse yet, to make it easier to watch YouTube on it.

As with typical Panasonics from the last few decades, the remote is not the most stylish, could be more ergonomic and intuitive. But the TV's worked well, no problems at all. Overall, a good purchase.
