My Favourite ‘Toy’!! – I LOVE this bike!! The instructions to put it together were easy to understand, the controls are simple to use, easy to control the power panel;… Read more

there’s •no power (you pedal - I never use this one!) • slow’ish power (good for going around corners) • medium power, (cruising along but not in a mad hurry!) and then there’s…… • TURBO POWER!! (And off we goooooo……!!!) This bike is one of my most favourite ‘toys’ that I have bought myself. So far, no problems at all with it, and I think, if I continue to take care of it, there shouldn’t be any major problems in the future! I only paid $850 for it off a lady in Marketplace (it was brand new & still in the box) but I believe the original cost was around $1200. Worth every cent!

My first E-bike and I think it’s pretty good.I live in a hilly area and it handles most inclines easily except for the real steep ones which is… Read more

understandable as it only has a 36V 7.8AH lithium battery. Approximately 30k range which is ample for me. The mechanical 160mm rotor disc brakes are exceptionally good. Overall at $499 I love it and recommend it to anyone as a entrance to e-bike riding

Quality bike but substandard preassembly – Bike is good. Robust. Only detailer and cassette is made by Shimano. All other parts are non branded.Tyres are substandard. Ptessembly out of box isn't good. Better to take it to a mechanic and get it assembled. I like the bike shape, frame. Show details

Good value for a basic folding e-bike – This Estate brand folding e-bike was sold by Aldi in mid-late 2023 for around $650, which is quite good value for what it is. There are several… Read more

reasons why it's cheap; single speed (no gears), battery is only 7.5 amp hours (limited range), speed sensor but no torque sensor, v-brakes rather than disc brakes, and no adjustment for the amount of power assistance.

Despite the shortcomings, it rides quite well. It's well designed and constructed. The only construction faults I found were the bolts on the plastic chain guard were done up too tight causing minor damage to the chain guard at its mounting points, and the chain had no factory grease or lubrication on it. The frame welds weren't very smooth, but that's only a cosmetic issue. Tyre pressures out-of-the-box were very low, but that's to be expected.

The lack of a torque sensor means that power assistance is either On or Off and is independent of your pedalling effort. Even soft pedalling with no actual effort will have you zooming along at quite a reasonable speed. The bike also has a throttle which allows the bike to crawl along at up to 6 kmh without pedalling, or whilst walking it along. The included electric horn and lights are great. The inbuilt rear pack-rack is useful.

The charger and battery seem good quality and unlikely to cause the dreaded Li-Ion fires which sometimes occur on cheaper lower quality batteries and chargers. The charger's LED light changes from red to green at 80% and turns off at 100%. However the charger does become very warm during charging, so good ventilation or airflow is needed. When riding, it's hard to get an accurate idea of the battery's state of charge as the handlebar indicator only has two green icons and one red icon. The battery itself provides better indication, with three green LEDs and one red LED.

Assembly instructions were excellent. There was a colour quick start guide, a detailed instruction manual, and an online video.
