so switch off power and open door to cool. Have to hold electric starter for a few seconds after gas lights up. But generally very good quality stove and happy with the product, take a bit of getting used to it I suppose !

needs to be preheated to 250 just to reach a decent temperature, then you have to turn it down. The manual is a joke, more focused on what the oven can't do rather than providing useful guidance. Given the poor performance, I've already needed to call in a service technician, and this is with the oven being less than 6 months old! Wouldn't recommend this oven to anyone. In hindsight, chopping up my bench to fit a better oven would've been a far better decision. Avoid this heap of junk at all costs!
