effort. The staff showed us how to remove the cover and how to put it back on. We had our mattress cut to our exact measurements. We required a small double size. It was cut perfectly. We have slept on it in our caravan. We would say that the mattress would be considered medium to firm. You can upgrade to have a topper incorporated but was more expensive and we already had our own topper. We are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend this mattress.

bed rock hard. I am sure Fred Flintstone dug it out of the ground himself!

I definitely do not recommend the firm mattress unless you are Barney Rubble or Wilma.
