I don't like to buy cushions online as the quality of the cushioning and fabrics is so variable and it's so difficult to know what's good and what's not unless you can see and feel it, regardless of how cheap or expensive it is.

We visited Spotlight, Bunnings, and KMart nearby. All the cushions were either far too expensive for what they were, or were of very poor quality.

Then we remembered Clark Rubber was also nearby. We don't have a pool so hadn't thought of them at first even though we had bought quality items from them previously.

We bought 5 x Mid Back Chair Cushions from Clark Rubber that were very good quality yet also very reasonably priced.

The cushions have quality inner and outer, and they provide very good support. But the reason we're writing this is because there was a lumbar support bonus others might be interested in due to the chair and cushion combo.

The chairs we bought, whilst very comfortable, have a low back. The cushions we bought from Clark Rubber were mid-back sized but were still a bit higher than the back of the chairs. But fortunately the cushions have two tie positions to affix to the chair - base and top.

The top ties were a little higher than the back of the chair, which meant we had to flex the cushion a little in order to make the ties reach the top of the chair and tie it into place. I was little concerned this might stress the stitching and cause breakage but there's no evidence yet that it's causing too much stress on the stitching.

LUMBAR SUPPORT RESULT: The result is that flexing the cushions has provided us very welcome lumbar support that outdoor cushions don't typically deliver. We're so happy with the result we thought it might be of interest to anyone else who might need better lumbar support.

it I will be purchasing two extra chairs. It is extremely durable, looks good after many years of being outside in the elements. Very comfortable. Not particulary a dislike, however, the chairs are perhaps a little short on height or maybe the table is a little too high, mainly for the eating of meals at the table. (table is from the same company we purchased this as a set)

Ballan, Anchor, Bristo and other names 2 Seater wicker café setting – Beware of this outdoor setting. The chairs are not in good shape at purchase as some of the legs don't touch the floor. They need to be returned for chairs where the legs are firmly on the concrete or floor. Not safe !

KOTARA (PE Rattan Hanging Pod), NILE (Outdoor hanging chair), Premium ARCOM (Curved PE Rattan Outdoor Hanging Egg Chair Frame), NUKU (Resin Wicker & Steel Hanging Swing Chair). This is a great design and comfortable to sit in. The cushion is nice but the colour fades slightly with them. The rattan of the chair is durable. It is let down by the metal elements. The joint angles of the metal stand rusts after a while, even though it is powder coated. But this has not affected its structural integrity... for now. What is most disappointing is that the chair itself actually has a metal frame in which the rattan wraps over. The metal is likely iron based as it rusts. You only discover this when it loses its structural integrity - the metal simply crumbles. For something sold for outdoor use, it is really concerning. If you can get the Aluminium version provided by other brands. It is lighter and will not rust and crumble over time.

These lounges are poorly protected against corrosion, within the first week of having these,i rust began dripping from all the welded joints and surface rust began coming thru the painted surface areas. Also the tubes fill with water from rain and when moving lounges this black liquid (see photos) spills from them

short time I found this effected the comfort when lying down. My seat was outdoors and i found the fabric collected rain like a pond. I also found the seat to be too low, maybe great if you are really short, but difficult to get off if you are tall. Cushions blow over in the slightest breeze as they do not attach anywhere. I got rid of mine. Next time i will pay more and buy a better-quality aluminium seat.

to furnish our newly built home. Allow me to state now that we had no previous experience with or problem with Amart Furniture. All other furnishings purchased that day are of decent quality and are showing no signs of premature wear and tear. They are "Fit for purpose" and are "Performing as described" The outdoor lounge suite was purchased along side the 7 piece Barbosa outdoor dining suite as a matching set. While the 2 sets of furniture appear to be of similar construction with the plastic wicker looking very similar upon closer inspection the plastic wicker of both pieces has a different feel and clearly are not of the same quality. The outdoor lounge is advertised as "Uv resistant/stabilized" and also described as "durable" with the marketing material clearing displaying a photo of the lounge in open air, full sunlight. The lounge also comes with a 5 year warranty. The lounge suite as well as the dining suite been located on our south facing, fully covered deck since their delivery, meaning the lounge gets 2 hours of morning sun each day on the eastern side and the dining suite on the other side of the deck gets 2 hours of afternoon sun from the west. The dining suite is showing zero sign of wear and tear and it is fit for purpose and is performing as described and as expected, where as the lounge suite has crumbled to pieces, even the sections of the lounge which get no sun are breaking and crumbling now leaving the lounge unsafe and unusable after less than three years of very light use. After contacting Amart over a year ago with our concerns we were told that the UV resistant, durable wicker furniture needs to be covered to protect the plastics from drying out and becoming brittle??? this was not advised to us upon purchase and is a clear indicator that Amart are fully aware of the extremely poor quality of this product and will use any excuse to avoid honoring their ridiculous warranty. The lounge suite cost $1500, they offered $750 compensation. This product was never uv stabilized or durable, it is actually now quite dangerous to sit on. Amarts, Barbosa outdoor dining suite sits right next to it in the exact same conditions and has zero uv damage, we have a three piece plastic wicker set on the front deck that lives in full sun, constantly, from a different retailer, same age, cushions are a little faded but the plastic wicker is faultless. After researching Amarts reputation in relation to warranty claims it is clear they simply do not back their products and do not care about their customers, with proper sales service we would been customers for life instead now we will attack their reputation every chance we get, hundreds of people have seen the condition of this furniture and have been heard our story but we will continue. We are about to embark on a full digital assault on Amart furniture with the hope that somebody else will be saved from throwing their hard earned dollars down the can. They have zero care for their customers satisfaction and they are peddling garbage products which will end up in landfill prematurely.

really hard to put together and there were a few faults and missing parts which VidaXL were quite prompt in rectifying. The cushions are thin and cheap looking. All went well till about 8 weeks after I bought them and I moved one of them and rusty water came out. We had a look and the tubular steel ends are open so when we had rain it just goes inside and rusts. They say to cover them for frost, rain, snow but I thought that must have been for fading or plastic becoming brittle after aa few years. For over $500 I won't get more than one season out of these. There's no way I can cap the hollow ends either. I find it hard to believe a manufacturer can be so cheap as to do this. If it only lasts one season no one is going to make a return purchase from them.
