apparent when none of the part numbers matched up with the part numbers provided in the instructions. There was a video which was more helpful, but ultimately it seemed I was missing some crucial parts. I entered into dialogue with Absco customer service, which would become one of the longer relationships of my life. The first 5 responses from them consisted of them sending me out the same instruction manual and asking if this was the one I needed. It took 6 emails from them over three weeks before they were able to discover that the manual had been updated and the parts numbers changed, and provide me with the right one. By this point, I had mostly figured it out with much swearing and shouting, and my elderly mother constantly shrieking "but Absco are a good brand" at me. Not anymore, Mum. There were still parts missing, which they happily sent to me after some negotiation, and many of the parts did not have screw holes or guidelines that the manual and video indicated, which often led to a further loss of confidence that I had the right piece. When I pointed this out to customer service, they cheerily suggested I drill holes in the metal where needed. Of course I can do that, but what the hell is going on in that factory? The worst part of all of this was having to explain market dynamics, offshoring of industry, and the gutting of Australian businesses for the sake of profit to my poor old mother. She won't be buying Absco again and neither will I. P.S. I actually forgot to write this review and only did so because Absco sent me an email 6 months after the fact inviting me too! Thanks Absco! P.p.s The shed sucks, is flimsy, and doesn't secure properly because the lock mechanism cannot be affixed as indicated in the manual. Waste of time and money.

instruction, only pictures which needed to be mulled over for ages in order to ascertain their meaning. You have to work out a lot on your own. Materials are flimsy and don’t withstand the weather. Assembling it didn’t make it any sturdier, The first strong gust of wind lifted the roof windows (even though they were latched) and blew them, as well as several sheets of roofing material off, as well as bending one of the uprights. Can’t wait till we have a real storm. I have already spent over $200.00 on extra bracing and a will probably be spending more. I bought this about 20 months ago but it remained boxed until now. Should have left it boxed.

a reduced price offer on this USA manufactured plastic shed with about $250 off. It cost us AU$945. In addition I purchased two sheets of external Structural Ply for the base 2400x1200 each and leveled it using bricks with construction grade silicon adhesive from Bunnings. In addition I cut three skylights in the roof panels before assembly to allow extra light for my hobby work. I used a $20 clear roof panel sheet from Bunnings and simply cut it into three with silicon as the adhesive. The shed was large enough to put in a large folding table for art painting on one side and a workshop bench across the opposite wall. So good and the many shelves .... from Bunnings work great. I used 2400 x 150 timber siding planks as shelves for $9 each length. Construction was easy but be sure to follow the instructions and find the part numbers as you go. We got a bit lost at one stage but it really was a fun project. The quality is above average, waterproof and very insulated. I love my shed. I can work as I want and leave out projects without disturbance while finding those bits and pieces I need to fix the grandkids toys or to repair my Motorhome Very good product and it can be expanded by purchasing sections. It’s a great concept. Available from a number of other suppliers in Australia. Im very happy to recommend this Lifetime shed which has a 10 year warranty.

They use heavier steel, had a superior frame design, could tailor it to our size requirements and offered a wooden base with a rebated floor to compensate for the sloping concrete carport surface. We took up the offer of installation which included a site visit prior to doing the job. They turned up on time and took under two hours to put in the shed to our satisfaction (thanks, Matt). Although the pre-assembled panel design would allow a two person handyman team to put it up without too much trouble on a level floor, we'd still advise ordering the installation to save time and get a guaranteed result.

make tool attachment easy. SteelChief was easy to communicate with and the installers were very helpful in inspecting the enclosed site. They did an efficient job in delivery and erecting the shed. Unfortunately, SteelChief’s design and installation of the roof was very poor. The roof is made up of three 2m corrugated Colorbond and two 2m polycarbonate sheets riveted together with channel framing around the sides. However, 1. There is no roof frame, and the roof is only held down by the Colorbond sheets screwed to the walls. All screws are in the valleys instead of the crests; attaching corrugated steel on a roof like this risks leakage onto untreated pine below and rusting around the screw holes.
2. The 2m long polycarbonate skylight sections are only supported by rivets to the adjacent Colorbond sheets, which means they lift and flex and flap even in light winds. Manufacturers recommend the sheets be screwed down to purlins (covered with purlin tape) with a maximum 1m spacing to prevent flexing and banging. The attachments must allow for expansion and contraction which rivets don’t allow. The fixing of the polycarbonate does not match recommendations on the internet (see www.plram.com.au). On windy days the banging roof makes working in the shed impossible and on windy nights it keeps us awake.
3. The channel framing riveted to the downside ends of the roof restricts water flow from the roof into the gutter ensuring a build-up of water on the roof and likely leakage.
When we emailed my concerns to SteelChief, we received the following reply from their quality control team.
“The screws securing the roof have rubber washer seals which will prevent water ingress. The skylight sheeting is secured at each end in the framing channels and at recommended intervals down the length. It has been installed to our build specifications which have not presented any issues previously. The channel framing at the gutter end will allow water to flow into the gutter. Again part of our standard design and build.” Follow up points: The channel framing gap at the gutter end through which the water is said to flow is a maximum 1-2mm. This was blocked by dust from the air the first time it rained and resulted in water pooling and covering the colorbond roof screws in the corrugation gutters.
I believe SteelChief’s reply shows they not only have a problem with their quality control, but they are also unable to properly investigate customer problems in order to improve. We should not have had to reconstruct the roof ourselves to deal with its shortcomings.

the 31st of January. A promised delivery date of between 22nd - 28th of Demember and a total of four delivery dates promised between purchase and time of delivery.
Five phone calls later to Bunnings (Bunnings was great) with no sound communication with Absco regarding couriering Bunnings place a secondary order to dispatch my shed. On the 31st of January two sheds were delivered instead of one. It took no more the half a working day for Absco to contact me regarding the duplicate delivery and wanted to arrange a courier to come and collect it. If only this care and attention was applied to the original purchase, safe to assume customers are not a priority one you have paid.
No effort or care to compensate, just a request for me to go above and beyond to assist them when this effort was never reciprocated.
As for the product it is of poor quality, with no aligning screw holes and poorly fitting pieces. I consider myself reasonably skilled and this build was challenging at times with the terrible installation instructions and no video format for this shed model. However with a bit of patience, time, and improvisation I do now have a reasonably nice shed in its place.
I do not recommend the build for someone with a low level of competence and I do not recommend this company from a customer service perspective.

something that was big enough to store all the gardening stuff, with enough floorspace so I wouldn't have to move things around to get anything out, high enough for me to stand up inside, durable, and with a look suitable for my house. This shed delivers on all counts. It still looks good, despite all Queensland weather, doesn't leak, shows little wear on the outside, handles wear fairly well on the inside, handles brisk wind well (doesn't rattle) and the joins are tight enough that I rarely find insects or spiders in it. Setting it up does require patience and care to get a good result. The instructions were easy to understand and no parts were missing. If you've decided to get one, here are some tips to help get it set up.
1. I did some pre-assembly in my garage when it was raining outside. The doors, windowed wall panels, arches, and floor can all be prepared in advance, prior to setting up the shed in the yard.
2. The advertising says no slab is required but the instructions recommend a foundation, and I would strongly recommend one. The joints between the wall panels and the floor are fairly tight, but without a foundation, you may run the risk of having rainwater runoff get inside at the base, or of damp rising through the plastic floor panels. I built a box frame using 50mm treated pine sleepers (with 2 support members), topped with 10mm treated pine slats. It's level, very stable, supports the plastic floor, keeps standing moisture away from the shed, and cheaper than a concrete slab. Concrete would last longer, but it will cost more (especially with reinforcing) and you'll need to set the mounting bolts in the concrete before it dries.
3. When deciding where to position the windowed panels, consider how you plan to arrange your shelving first, otherwise your shelves may block any light coming through the windows.
4. I purchased the optional shelving package, consisting of two double length shelves, and four tool holders. The shed does comes with two small shelves, but this wasn't enough for my needs. The extra shelving really made a difference - I've even managed to keep half a double shelf empty to have space to do things.
5. One person can assemble this shed (I did), provided that you're patient and light enough to get on top to do the roof. Otherwise, call a good mate.
Caveat: this is a very good shed, but it is a costly one (imported from Israel), hence a 4 star rating instead of 5. When I was shopping around, I found that it was about 3 times the cost of a cheap metal equivalent and 1.5 times the cost of a good quality colourbond one. Timber sheds, either kit or custom would require more time & effort. If you buy an Apex shed, then you want it for the look and its own benefits, and you're not trying to save money by settling for something else. Shopping around for a deal is recommended. There are American made options available that are cheaper, but they didn't impress me as much. I would consider getting another Keter Apex (or bigger) next time I move house. Looks, practical, durable, size, quality Expensive

perfect fit, i did want a little bigger, but the location is very restrictive. It was delivered quickly to the nearby depot and this was free, rather than delivery to the house. It came in one box and was damage free. All the panels were perfect, and everything was pre cut for installation, the only thing is that the holes could have been slightly smaller to ensure a tighter screwed fit. The instructions could be better, so i do highly recommend watching the videos on their website as well. There are few things commented on in the videos that are not in the instructions. Even so, it was easy to put together. Currently, I have 3 bikes in it, a zscooter, the bike repair stand and also I've hung the cars roof cage on a couple of hooks at the back. Highly recommended.

Headings - Introduction - Customer Service - Products - Pros Vs Cons - Final Thoughts
INTRODUCTION As per my previous review regarding the Keter Grande Store, this product was purchased around the same time as the Keter Manor which is titled in this review.
The purpose of this product was to house shelving racks along with the lawn mower, paint and all manor of things relating to gardening and so on. I wanted to separate the garage dedicated as a home gym.
CUSTOMER SERVICE As with my previous review on the Keter Grande Store; I bought this from the same supplier, Bunnings. I had same problems as previously raised where I had a range of issues. They were resolved through a builder I hired to get some of my other simultaneous projects sorted.
PRODUCTS I have no experience in buying garden sheds; other than the traditional sense of metal and concrete slabs; I just did not want something that was just distasteful. The Keter Manor compared to the Keter Grande Store; is much more stylish in the way it stands out... as something contemporary and classic at the same time.
PROS vs CONS PROS - looks aesthetically pleasing - water proof
CONS - The instructional manual is difficult to read; my builder's laborers had great difficulty - The locking mechanism is annoying, much more than the Keter Grande Store; because the lock (bought from Bunnings) is very hard to put on. The manual does not tell you the size of the hole; everything is just a guess after its put together - Price, it is not cheap, far from it - It came with its own flooring, but had a concrete slab put into help the overall structure and stability - The shelving rack I bought from Bunnings (Rack-It 400Kg and 1000Kg); where my partner and I moved it without disassembly to from the garage to the Keter Manor... a big surprise... had to disassemble it and put it back together afterwards - plastic transparent windows needs to be blacked out to avoid prying eyes - smaller than it really is in size (Bunnings had no life-size showcase model)
FINAL THOUGHTS The same applies with the comments I raised with the Keter Grande Store. I did not really want a metal shed which you can purchase cheaply. I wanted something that was more pleasing to look at; more practical. In future, I will definitely go with something much bigger than the Manor 6x8; I had problems moving shelving racks into it.
Unfortunately, there is not a great deal of choice especially when looking at your Australian hardware providers, such as Bunnings. If it should be another Keter; then it should be a Factor or Oakland series.

The panels are so thin that they bend and distort when you try and screw them to the trim, even when you use a wood backing block. I ended up using a Dremel tool to pre-drill holes and used 1/8” pop rivets because the screws simply weren't secure. Extra rivets were needed to stabilize the too thin panels. Wrong sized pop rivets for the door hinges (3.2 mm rivets, 4 mm holes) didn't impress either, though that could have been a packing error. No flashing between the roof and the wall means it would leak if the shed wasn't directly under the house eaves. This could be a really decent product if it either had somewhat thicker gauge panels or it had pre-drilled holes that would allow you to use the supplied screws and maintain dimensional integrity (the panels warp otherwise) pop rivets give a much better end result. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wasn't a reasonably competent handyman (or handywoman). It could have been so much better.

Despite the horrendous amount of time taken to build this off the wall shed, it turned out to look pretty good but buckles and warps all over the place, especially around the flimsy door frame system which had to be worked around due to pop rivets causing too much space and movement.
MAIN PROBLEMS
An easy shed should be easy to assemble - this was not. No video instructions - like most modern assembly products provide. Difficult to understand instructions provided - very confusing. Worst of all - the product requires drilling - an easy shed would not require but have predrilled holes for the handyman to bolt/screw together. The corner construction also not optimum.
Had two tradies working with me, I'm a capable handyman and they both said worst design/experience ever.
So EasyShed get your act together, go back to your drawing board and add in things that make it truly easy - as this ain't what you make it out to be.
Two stars - gets the job done but my tradies said they could have done the whole thing built from scratch out of timber much cheaper. Think hard about going this way - most air taskers wanted $300 - $400 to assemble - and after doing it myself I realise just why they wanted to charge so much.

instructions to download. I emailed Keter to complain and about a week later I got a 2 line response saying sorry for the inconvenience. That`s it. No emailed instruction file and no link to the instructions on their website. Good thing I managed to find the instructions on my own. I also noticed there was a part missing - a connector piece between the two back panels. Whatever quality control procedures Keter has in place are NOT working. I found the instructions difficult to interpret in places as they only use pictures and no explanatory text. One of the metal pieces on the door frame was a little bit short with the result that one of the corner screws wouldn`t go in because the two holes for the screw didn`t align - poor workmanship. The roof is held down by 2 screws. On one side of the roof, the screw went in fine and held well. On the other side, the screw did not catch on anything. I finally had to put the screw in at a very sharp angle for it to finally catch on something and the result of this is that the screw head doesn`t sit flat. The shed is not insect proof - you can see daylight through the floor joints and some of the wall joints, the bottom of the doors, and the two vents. I used roof and gutter seal to glue insect screens over the vents. I also used roof and gutter seal (2 long tubes) to seal all the gaps that I thought insects would come through. For the door, I wedged rolled up pieces of insect screen into the gap at the bottom of the doors. If you don`t seal the gaps, then not only insects will come in, but also water. In a flood, water would definitely come up through the floor and the bottom of the doors. The shed has no insulation value at all and gets very hot when the sun hits it. Keter suggests a few bolts through the floor and into your cement pad will be enough to keep the shed from blowing over in the wind. I doubt this. So, you need to position the shed in full shade and with full wind protection or devise a strong anchoring system. I will be building sandbag walls around my shed for insulation and wind protection. And finally, Keter says the shed is lockable which is a big joke because anyone with a box cutter can easily slice through the thin plastic panels that make up the doors and the walls. DO NOT buy Keter sheds. They are really poorly designed and manufactured. I wouldn`t buy anything from Keter. And shame on Bunnings for selling such poor quality merchandise.

steel sheets are paper thin, the base frame is a total joke of joined metal so weak I had to fasten it every 400mm to the concrete to have any hope of getting it square. The roof sheets have a join in the middle with a 10mm overlap so with the very minor roof slope rain water just pours inside. There is also no worthwhile roof overhang so rain water runs down the inside of the wobbly pathetic doors and into the shed. The magnetic door catches and plastic latch are so poor and weak that words can't describe them. Anyway the doors don't even fit or line up properly and have to be jammed into the opening by lifting the sagging roof. I have had to reinforce the roof, fit extra roof sheeting under the joint, beef up the doors, fit a bar across the doors to stop the wind blowing them open and away. Note that you cant even drill new holes in the sheeting as the supplied structure just too weak and bends with the push of the drill - I had to place a timber prop under every new drill hole to support the shed while I drilled to reinforce it. Its taken days of extra work to just get it water resistant. Please dont buy one - I reckon you will be very unhappy if you do.
