Returns” is laughable - every interaction I had with them was a hassle. I received my Cool Cabanas with a defect in the material on the roof section. This was immediately noticeable when we pulled the Cabana out of the bag. I contacted the Warranty Team to discuss my options, and as the conversation went on Will started to imply that this defect was secondary to misuse. I would be required to pay for return shipping and was told that if they deemed it misuse (which he said was likely, I would be required to pay for the cost of repairs and return shipping.) All an expense I couldn’t currently incur. I am an honest person who purchased a brand new product and this product did not arrive in ‘as new’ condition. I believe the company should have a better quality control process, more personable staff on their customer service team, and have a better returns policy that believes customers when their product does not arrive in ‘as new’ condition.

to break, despite the gazebo being fully erected and properly pegged down.
The side clips that secure the canopy are completely ineffective and provided no real stability. This product should absolutely not be marketed as heavy duty. It is not even suitable for normal camping conditions where wind is expected.
The failure left us without shade on a camping trip, which significantly impacted our setup and comfort. A shelter product should be able to withstand basic outdoor conditions. This one could not.
For the price and the way it is promoted, this was a very poor outcome. We would not recommend this product

Went back to Bunnings who referred me to the company. Sent them pictures who said it was wind damage and suggested I purchase the piece of plastic join for $125 and fix it myself as warranty didn’t cover wind damage. Bunnings then sent me a quote to buy a new one and have it installed! You can see by the pictures these umbrella's are made with cheap plastic connectors. The truth is the warranty don’t cover anything because they will always blame the wind. One has to question what they mean by 'wind' because most days we have wind which then eliminates any claim! Consumer Affairs needs to be investigating this shonky practice. I will be making a claim.

tight and loose as a trial and error but no luck. Poor support ... instruction is quite poor. I got another gazebo as replacement but its not a case. Replacent was suggested from bunnings. I have just used gear mechanism rail from new lot. But to me nothing was wrong in original piece. finally i have tightened gear mechanism bolt more tightened than any other bolts and it works. all other crank mechanism screws are soft to medium tight.

Yesterday was a mild day with slight breezes and umbrella blew over bending one of the arms. Contacted supplier who advised that it was not covered under warranty and that they advise that the umbrella should not be opened with any wind.

breath of fresh air when we got this home. So easy to set up, lightweight, very sturdy and can be set at multiple angles.
Full aluminium poles, polyester fabric which are really good quality.
There are 4 lateral swivel positions which it can lock in to. A spring-loaded pin pops into 4 drilled holes in the baseplate.
It can also be set at about 5 different angles from vertical to shade when the sun is low. We found this almost tipped over at a moderate breeze though since it becomes a sail. So needs either driling into ground or only use in very light breezes.
So even though it's a small canopy, It gives better shade than the 3m umbrella we returned. Omega also use the same pole for larger canopies so it's quite sturdy. For the price, it's fantastic.

half umbrella awning is a perfect choice. Its unique design, which allows it to snugly fit against walls or fences, makes it an excellent option for areas where space is at a premium.
DESIGN & FUNCTIONALITY The half umbrella awning stood out to me because of its innovative design. Unlike traditional full-sized umbrellas, this awning takes up only half the space, making it ideal for compact outdoor areas. The semi-circular canopy provides ample shade while leaving the rest of your courtyard open and uncluttered. Its sleek and modern appearance also added a touch of sophistication to my outdoor setting.
This awning is designed with user convenience in mind. It features a simple crank mechanism that allows you to open and close the canopy effortlessly. The lightweight structure makes it easy to move and reposition if needed, providing flexibility in how you use your outdoor space.
SPACE-SAVING BENEFITS One of the most significant advantages of the half umbrella awning is its space-saving capability. It can be placed flush against a wall or fence, making it an ideal solution for narrow courtyards, balconies, or patios. This design maximizes your usable outdoor area, offering shade without taking up valuable space.
VALUE FOR MONEY Given its innovative design and functionality, the half umbrella awning offers excellent value for money. It is a cost-effective way to enhance your outdoor living area, providing shade and comfort without sacrificing style or space.
CONCLUSION In summary, the half umbrella awning is an exceptional solution for small courtyards and other compact outdoor spaces. Its unique design and ease of use, makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to optimize their outdoor area.

with the wind, to be expected. The issue is that as it is sold as a permanent structure there is no triagulated cross bracing. The whole structure is dependent on the distance between the bolt holes at each upper corner. I will have to install crossbracing to have any chance of this surviving. This will add about $80 and my time. However, I am generally happy with this and was happily surprised that it came post free at 50Kg. Another similar ebay vendor wanted $300 cartage on a $150 Gazebo.

Range Rover. I did a fair bit of searching and comparing of the various brands before buying and settled on the Coleman because it looked strong and had a 100kmh wind rating listed on the box. I secured it down really well using fence posts, the corner of my house and very large plastic sand pegs where I had to and on all 6 feet. Adelaide has had some horrendous weather this year and I have been somewhat nervous when the winds exceeded 100 klms (quite a few times) but it is still up and solid. The cover has faded a fair bit but hasn't torn which is impressive considering the beating it has taken this year. Covers are a replaceable item and I am hoping I will get over a year out of it but seeing as it is up permanently it is doing well and. The init is quite heavy but if it wasn't it wouldn't be strong. It's definitely a 2 person job to put it up but that said I was able to put it up by myself and I'm not a big guy.
I can recommend this to anyone who wants a solid strong portable Gazebo and is willing to put the effort into making sure it is secured down properly. I only gave it 4 stars because the canvas is fading and possibly may not make it much past 1 year before needing replacing but that is a full year in the sun and rain.
February 5th 2017 Update: No replacement canopy availabe
I have since found that although the coleman gazebo is excellent it is let down by the fact they do not sell replacement canopies for it and in the Adelaide sun a canopy won't last a year. I did find the Oztrail Deluxe 6 x 3 cover will fit if you cut about 12 cms off the middle post on the Coleman frame.

simply did not work, despite hours of focus on this ONE step and attempts to redo it in various configurations to account for errors in the instructions and diagrams. This happens sometimes when putting together boxes items.
The reason for the 1 star review is because NO attempts to get help or advice have proven successful. I sent a message to the company and was promised a phone call which never came and there was no way to reply to the email telling me they'd call. An attempt to submit the official feedback form from bunnings, in which I stated that I really needed help, was met with an email from the manager saying they were sorry I wasn't happy, but offering no option for assistance. Again, it was a no reply email.
The after sale service is simply non existent and ruins what could be a good product. As a result, I would NOT recommend this product. This may change if help arrives at some point before I dismantle and return the product for a refund.
