The unit comes with a set of teflon waffle plates and reversible flat or grilling plates. It also opens up flat to be used as a grill. You cannot set height it is only a press grill. There is a slide out drip tray at the back to collect fats and juices. Plates come off for easy dishwashing or hand wash cleaning.
