Best Lifespan Fitness Treadmills
LIFESPAN Dynamo Treadmill – I purchased the Dynamo which is similar to the Fitness pursuit. It has been reliable and inexpensive. I do not even bother oiling or maintaining it and it still keeps going (since 2013). Show details
Lifespan Viper M3

regularly. The huge bonus with the viper m3 is that it connects directly too Zwift . Speed and incline is used through the Bluetooth. Only things I’ve replaced is the rear bearing on the belt roller .

noisy machine with bad app – * VERY NOISY sounds like walking on loose creacky floorboards that are about to break it seems mostly when you walk in the middle where it folds in… Read more
half (ie every step) I do not recommend this for appartments * when I had a rest in the middle of a session the app came up with the message: "account expired, re-enter password" my record of the exercise was lost I had to login again
why I cannot stay logged in forever is beyond me: it is not a bank app with sensitive information? * "KS strategy: app messages keep flashing on the screen: do this, do that: very annoying * If you stop exercise after few hundred meters: a message appears: "exercise is too short and ending it will not save the record" it then gives you the option to CONTINUE or a greyed out END, which you cannot press * In other words the KS Fit app is crap The treadmill itself: do not buy the foldable one
Don’t buy the walking pad! – I bought this Walking Pad M2 and within an hour of using it on the second day, it suddenly stopped. I tried a few times the following day and it… Read more
suddenly stopped after 10 seconds to 1 minute of use! I can no longer use it. The worst thing is, they are not letting me return the item! I have provided them with video evidence showing how it suddenly stops and they keep pushing back on me, saying to try the automatic mode or to walk further up. I followed their instructions to walk further up the pad “because that is where the sensor is” and it’s still malfunctioning. Absolutely awful and stressful experience where I had to get ACCC involved. Save yourself the trouble – please do not buy it.

Dumb Treadmill – So I purchased this treadmill and there are some pros. It has a good 4 horse power motor and a 5 year guarantee so I know it will at least last a few… Read more
years. It also has a 54cm running pad which is the commercial standard. Now for the DUMB DUMB bit. 1) Firstly it has an annoying beeping sound which you cant reduce the volume or turn off. So if like me you use the treadmill in the mng or late evening you will be waking up people just by increasing/decreasing the speed. Why would they not just have a mute button is beyond me. 2) The time goes to 100 minutes and then resets to zero again. If you are running a long distance say two hours, at the end of your run it will show you ran it in 20 minutes! Again how stupid 3) Forget how many running programs it makes available or lists, it is pointless to configure or set. You are required to set the incline and speed for each 1km interval for the entire duration. I just stick to manual settings 4) The dumbest of all things though, is that the display simply recycles itself over and over again and can not be static. For example it shows the distance, then the incline, then the calories and this just repeats over and over again and you do not have an option to keep it static. All I wanted was to run a 5km distance and track how long I have to go, yet there is a 30 second lag before it shows me the distance travelled (for 5 odd seconds) before it loops through to the next piece of useless information that is not relevant. Really I am just asking to see speed and time and it cant even show those basic functions.
In summary, this treadmill has a pretty good hardware but unfortunately the interface and display and (lack) of functions really lets it down. Had I known this or did a trial I would not purchase and spend a few hundred more to getting something decent as that will make it more enjoyable and easier to track.
