he'd be there soon however the driver who arrived was not the one who accepted the trip. Instead, an unmarked cab (no cab number or 13CABS identification) driver arrived knowing my mums name and trying to convince me he could complete the trip. Very scary & 13Cabs don't seem to be able to act on it as they can't track drivers cancelling trips and sending their own driver instead.

Ordered a cab in the morning for pick up after arrival via train in the afternoon. Cab never came, waited 30 minutes. Ordered an Uber, got me home in 10 minutes and was half the quoted price. This was for Warrnambool.

called to book a cab for airport for early morning. No confirmed answer given by the company instead was asked "to request for an earlier time to give yourselves a leway". So I should in the morning instead of getting a cab be stressed out about whether or not I will get a cab? MY ADVICE DO NOT USE THE COMPANY.

NO SHOW - NO COMMUNICATION - BOOKING NOT HONOURED. Made a booking 12 hours in advance - which they confirmed / accepted. Then they don’t show up. My 90 year old dad doesn’t have patience, time or understanding for such incompetence. Disgusting customer service as you cannot even call them to check what the heck is going on! Never again.

Booked a cab yesterday. Notified by app 10 minutes before they were looking for cab. Called them. AI voice only. Still no cab 10 minutes later so I jumped in my car and missed the train...

Dangerous Driving and Unprofessional Behavior I had a very negative experience with a 13cabs driver on July 17, 2025, Southport Gold Coast. The driver dangerously cut into my turning lane without indicating, nearly causing an accident. When I confronted him afterwards, he responded by making an obscene hand gesture (middle finger) toward me. This level of aggression and disrespect is completely unacceptable for a professional driver.

My trip was cancelled by the driver, [Name Removed], without any notification sent to me. I booked again and waited a further hour outside before deciding too walk an hour home at midnight. The new automated booking system is a frustrating joke. Coffs Harbour has the worst taxis in Australia.

From bad to worst – I’m in the GC for a few days on business. Had 3 separate run ins with 13 Cabs drivers that I never want repeated 1. not start meter then charged me a fixed price that’s more than expected. I refused to pay and tried to call 13 Cabs to make an immediate complaint but reached no one. So I paid because I had to start work in 5 min. He gave me a receipt that did not have his Driver ID on it (because he didn’t use the meter), then called me a “F##king B#tch”. I don’t deal with cockroaches and bottom feeders like this on a daily basis so I didn’t waste my breath with retaliation.

3. I made a phone booking for a driver who never showed up. But he made a ghost call to me whereby he spoke unintelligible words and I wasn’t sure if understood me when I told him I’m outside the location waiting but I don’t see him! When I called switchboard they located him back on the highway. I’m pretty sure he went to a more lucrative booking. Furthermore switchboard put me on hold to “investigate” but the call dropped! So I hailed another cab myself (and got the guy that screamed at me, see point 1!)

What is going on 13 Cabs? It’s disappointing that I had to experience this on my first visit to the Gold Coast.

In my usual bookings, the driver will send me a text before his arrival. On 11th there was No Text from the driver. I therefore contacted 13Cabs where [Name Removed], staff member told me that there was No Prebooking made under my name.

THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE! [Name Removed] further explained that her female colleague didnt know her duties well in taking my booking.

This 100% failure in the delivering of service had greatly inconvenienced me!

I WILL NOT USE 13 CABS!

 Follow-up  · I have not heard from 13Cabs since I voiced my feedback. I stop using them since that unattendance to my pre-booked service.

So I booked a cab for the following morning to ensure one is available, after waiting 20min after my scheduled booking time I call another company which arrived and I cancelled my pre booked ride. Terrible service

 Follow-up  · The cab app allows you to track your cab, mine just sat at waiting and no cab accepted the job, and cancellation was easy

If you want to stand for 45min in the dark and wait for your taxi that never arrive and be late for you flight then book with them. Pre-booked and telephonically confirmed again after 30min of waiting only to be told on the second call after 45min waiting that no taxi is coming as none is available.

 Follow-up  · No luck so far getting the cost of my airport parking paid by them. Also, no luck so far getting the voice recording of the conversations I had with them sent to me.

Booked 13cab on the website last night for a 4am ride to the airport and 5 mins before arriving the driver cancelled my ride like how uber does, causing me to miss my fight. This has caused me stress and massive out of pocket expenses, Will never use them again.

Terrible service, will never book through 13Cabs ever again. Pre booked one week beforehand a wheelchair taxi for my 92 year old mother for 9am to go to her sister in law’s funeral and the taxi cab received the booking 8.55am, 5 minutes before pick up. Was late to the funeral, which caused great distress for not only my mother but for the whole family. Do not use this company ever!

I pre-booked the night before for 5:45am , at 5h55 no cab still "finding you a cab" . Had to cancel the cab and booked uber instead. Uber came in 3mins. Never again

I would like to commend Mohamed taxi plate T3509 for his exceptional service on 26/3/26. He was punctual and friendly. His taxi was extraordinarily CLEAN! contact the driver to discuss insurance details and settlement for the damages to my car. Unfortunately, I have received no response.

This lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating. As the driver was operating under your company at the time, I believe your organisation holds responsibility in ensuring this matter is addressed properly. It is not acceptable for customers or third parties affected by your drivers to be left without support or resolution.

I request that you urgently investigate this matter, provide the necessary insurance details, and take responsibility for resolving the damages caused. I expect prompt communication and a clear path toward settlement.

If this issue is not addressed in a timely manner, I will be forced to escalate the complaint further.

The taxi driver overcharge me and the music was so loud in the taxi. I made a complaint to customer service I didn't like the response they said it's correct fare which apparently it's not I even showed proof of picture as evidence. They don't want to even refund for the overcharge payment. It's disappointing.

This was surprising because there was NO CLEAR WARNING during the booking process that an advance booking does not guarantee a driver will arrive on time. There was also NO SMS UPDATE or notification to let me know that the booking had not been accepted by a driver, even though my contact number was provided.

Customers are simply left waiting without any information.

During the trip, a driver also mentioned that smaller trips may sometimes be less attractive for drivers to accept. In addition, I experienced a situation where a driver offered to take a job privately outside the platform and later attempted to increase the agreed price.

Overall, the BOOKING SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION, and SERVICE EXPERIENCE were disappointing.

Based on this experience, I can understand why many people now prefer using ride-share platforms instead.

Worst experience ever. Arrived Coolangatta to hail airport cab. No idea where he was going. Rude. Dangerous driving. Took cash & drove off with our change! Trying to report this to management is a joke. They are all mates & cover for each other. Avoid this company. Uber way better

in Brisbane long and couldn’t help with the city part. When we came out of the tunnels near Everton Park, on the Northside, we knew he really had no idea. Using google maps, we finally got him heading the right way. He said he’d turn the meter off to rectify his mistake. Whilst getting us horribly lost, he paid little attention to the road or traffic, was too busy arguing about the DVA funded fare. He did put us on a call to 13cabs headquarters, only to have us speak to a rude staff member who advised that the driver had not been given the booking number via the automated system, so we had to pay the fare, too bad. It’s impossible to get beyond the automated system, so no idea how people are supposed to deal with these situations. As we neared home, the driver decided he was running out of fuel and wanted another unscheduled stop to refuel (assuring us the meter would be stopped). On assessing the fuel gauge, we ask him to keep going. The driving for that last 10 mins became very erratic and downright dangerous. The bill at the end was $140 for what should have been no more than $90, even with heavy traffic. This is terrible service at the best of times, worse that he was ripping off a Veteran. Thankfully we both have our wits about us, dread to think what an elderly person may have been charged. The government needs to regulate the cab industry.

When the driver dropped me he even had the audacity to try and hustle for my return fare. I told him a friend was picking me up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company.

The client who has a physical disability is unable to walk that distance was taken aback by the attitude of the driver, told the driver of this disability ( which they shouldn't have to explain themselves) . The driver was arrogant towards the client. This has never happened before when using Taxi services in the A.C.T. in over 50 years.

Pre booking was made 4 days prior to date needed. Required a Mexican as there were 5 adults and 1 child requiring Seay. Cab never arrived. Could not get onto 24cab to speak to a real person. There was a lot of car shuffling and we ordered an ordinary cab which again did mot show. Ordered an Uber instead. I don't want to ever here anyone complain about not using a taxi service again

Driver said meter was not working, was rude and kept complaining that the cost should’ve been much more. Asked for $78 cash. On arrival he refused to give me my change. NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Eventually phoned, promised a taxi in 5-10min - nothing. Happy to take the money though, luckily refunded eventually. Literally their only job. They'll go bankrupt soon enough.

Booked a maxi taxi for 4 people and luggage a week in advance. Day of booking, no taxi available. Called 13 CABS and advised it was a "few minutes away." Glad I didn't wait anymore and got an uber instead or else we would have missed our 6am flight.

They rip you off, thieves and liars! Adelaide SA, once again, he didn't turn on the meter, I didn't notice, made up a ridiculous price out of thin air, threatened to take me back if I didn't pay. This is ILLEGAL! This is the 4th time! You are nothing but criminals, the authorities need to investigate these Adelaide taxis. They need to be closed down, do NOT use these taxis. Low life criminal scum. Thank God for Uber!

Booked online for a cab to go to the airport at a set time. No indication online that a cab had accepted the job. 15 minute prior to the time, rang 13cabs. They assured me that a cab had accepted the job and will ne there ontime. Time came, time went. None arrived, the online booking app started looking for a ride. Pathetic. Managed to get an uber instead.
