1300 Rideshare

Avoid! – I was estimated 45 minutes for a ride to arrive for a trip from Kuranda to Cairns by Uber so I rang 1300 Ride Share. They said they had a number of drivers in the area finishing jobs who would be available shortly. Over the next 45 minutes and several calls I received similar comments…on the second that the driver should be there within 10 minutes. The same driver arrived at the same pickup point for prior bookings on several occasion. On the last (third arrival) he said that he was the only driver in the vicinity, had to do jobs in the order they appeared on the screen, and that he would arrive for our pickup in about 25 mins. When I rang 1300 Ride Share to complain that they had lied to me about a number of drivers in the area they said the driver was lying. Well I suppose if you can a radius of 200k perhaps 1300 Ride Share was not lying just very misleading. Do not use. People like this shouldn’t be in business.
