Easiest way to apply for properties - sooo easy and user friendly!!! – We used 2Apply through our new real estate agent and it was really quick and simple to complete the information - we could even upload info from our phone. We got confirmation we got the property on the same day!!! So brilliant - I wish all real estate agents used it

1 Suzanne R.  · Used to be great but now charge to store data and have to go through inputs over and over and over.
1 andrea j.  · I have had nothing but spam since using this app.
1 Gerty  · So you need to receive a code when logging in and it isn't received, resubmitted 4 times, still no login code. Fix your software!
1 Charlotte R  · Absolutely terrible. I you're forced to use it, allow yourself ALOT of extra time and expect to apply multiple times.
1 Steven B.  · Ridiculous app only interested in trying to sell you stuff than help with rental process. I cant belive its still being used !!!
1 Ryan C.  · Charged, but no report recieved. Scam service! but all agents are using it, small tenants have no choice!

This is the worst Web site so confusing when you apply with another applicant.Download information than it disappears. Not sure why any real estate agents use it.Real estate .com is so much easier to use. No charge to hold information for 18 months on real estate .com

Annoying as hell! And scammy! Charging for storing your application for future applications , should be free, not charged. And the constant pressure to have tica checks! And the constant errors and crashing and resubmissions. Ugh. Never used a system as worse as this. Obviously the high star ratings are paid for / fake

Worst website ever. Not user friendly at all. So confusing and too many ads and prompts to pay money to store your data for longer than 14 days. It pressures you into paying extra even a tenant check - show that your a reliable tenant - it says! It's terrible and I'm sad that real estate agents use it! And how many emails and scam calls you get after applying, definitely sell your data on.

Absolute bunch of morons. 100 emails to change a password. Threatens to delete your data without option. How their stranglehold on rental applications is still allowed is beyond belief and surpasses normal tolerance.

Never written a review, but I feel like it's necessary to make it known on how shocking this is as a platform. The amount of data they require from you should be criminal, and they've introduced a new "feature" that allows you to store this information for a fee. It even has the audacity to market it with the slogan "We care about your data, so… Read more

we’re putting you in full control."

The sad part is this company is becoming the sole service for applying for a home in the Melbourne area, and I'm sure other areas too. The reality of the property market is people will be applying for many properties, and likely for months at a time, so to monetise this way feels like a gun to the head.

I have on more than one occasion been asked for 7+ years living history, and often 4+ years worth of job history, entering this data over and over is exhausting.

tl;dr:

The service will blatantly ask you for a frightening amount of data, tell you that you have two weeks before it all gets wiped and you have to enter it again, unless you pay. BUT there's nothing we can do since there are limited alternatives.

multiple tech glitches and process issues- 2apply slow to resolve and go into denial – Went to apply for a listing I had just driven to, seen, loved, spoke to real estate - get the message there has been too many applications you cannot apply. What the? I should have been told if there was some limit The real estate agent just said make sure the application was in by the following morning and haven’t been able to apply The stress of… Read more

finding a place and then not being able to apply-

This has been ongoing- three seperate properties now- 2 apply app has really serious integration issues - when I click apply I am getting the attached message error The issue I then have is the company goes into denial mode which doesn’t help them improve What a terrible experience. Sort it out

[Name Removed] denying the situation exists is hardly focusing on quality improvement Own the issue Admit the issue and then mentally you have a better chance of fixing it since you’ve finally took accountability for the issue

Another issue popped up this morning- not receiving the unique code needed after inspecting a place to then apply for it- spent 2 hours this morning trying to resolve. Time I don’t have and should be focused on other things 2apply is making the application process significantly harder- I feel like a Guinea pig sorting out one glitch after another with them- i should be getting paid by them but all I want to do is find a bloody rental and they are getting in the way of that where their whole motto is to streamline the process

Scam app – Scam... Don't pay for verification, I got declined and can't get a refund even with all information filled in correctly.

They are storing all your personal information with no guarantee it won't be used to steal your identity – I contacted 2apply via their website to request all my personal information INCLUDING my name , email address and phone number. I received a reply stating all my data had been deleted EXCEPT for my name email address and phone number. My question is WHY? I am concerned that their site is allowing my information to potentially become compromised.

When I have applied for rental properties on 2apply, it was convenient to have everything in the one place to upload all the required documents and submit it. It is a very easy process and fast to use.

Quick and easy! Such a time saver being able to complete references online at anytime! – I've been invited to complete a couple of references for employees recently on 2Apply - and I must say it's been such a quick and easy process! No more playing phone tag with people trying to call me to confirm someone's employment/income - such a time saver being able to do it all online, even after hours! Show reply

2 Apply - so easy to use – Using 2Apply was so easy - I have provided references for several friends and colleagues and it couldn't have been easier - just answered a few simple questions and sent my answers straight back - responded to the reference requests at times that suited me then got on with my day. Best part was knowing that I was helping my friends find a new place to live. Show reply

Zero stars. Unlawful application form!!!!!! Worst application process ever & in Victoria is now unlawful since the end of March. Also now unlawful to make us pay to store our data. Should be made obsolete to disallow agents using this platform.

Charging people money to keep their application saved is ridiculous. Using the excuse of "control over your data" is even worse. I am sure you already charge agencies to use this service, how necessary is it to ask for $5 from every applicant just to do what every other application service does for free? I am 50% less likely to apply to a property that uses this service than I am to realestate.com.

They need to actually call referees when they dont get an email reply rather than rely on email response. Real Estate agents especially will gladly answer the questions they ask via phone. Landlords and Agents, please use paper form applications like many of us are used to.

One the worst app in the whole universe. It looks like they are pushing people to pay for the app. Looks like that's what they want to make you upset and end up paying high property coz it's not easy to find the house. 0 star to this sh##

Worst rental app ever. Spent almost an hour filling it out, entered 4 years of stable full-time work in joinery – but it kept saying ‘you need at least 2 years employment history’. Complete nonsense, dates are correct, no gaps. Buggy validation, inconsistent interface, wastes time. Agents force you to use it, no alternative. 1 star, avoid if possible.

They don’t even deserve a single star. Every time my partner and I try to apply for a property together, when one of us sends the link to the other to apply jointly, it says that the details we used to log into our 2Apply profile don’t match the ones sent by the other person in the link. Applying as a couple is a nightmare. At first, I thought… Read more

the issue was only happening between the two of us, so I asked a friend to try applying with me, and the result was exactly the same. I tried reaching out to their support, but they’re completely useless. All they told me was that it looked like I had already submitted the application, even though the real estate agent never received anything from me.

Everything about this is wrong. It’s a nightmare every time I see a property listed with this app. I’d rather not apply at all. Simply horrible.

Absolute dog's breakfast application process. Creating even more stress for stressed out, time poor renters. No number. No prompt replies. Welcome to 2025 (Must give them credit for stranglehold on rental market)

This is the worst website I have ever used. The group application does not work, the system is appalling. I am going to be reporting this website higher for review as this service is atrocious. If at all possible, do not use this platform to apply for any properties.

If I could give this app/ company 0 starts I would. The customer service is terrible when you have a problem, their group application links don’t work, their app doesn’t work, they scam you by saying they’ll delete your data if you don’t pay, and they scam you by trying to make you pay for application/ property views, and scam you by trying to… Read more

make you pay for storage and a stand out application that you of course have to pay for. I WISH agents and properties would stop using this platform. Absolutely terrible!!

It can be more useful if it was more flexible. i.e. I like that it has all the information stored for next time I want to apply for another property if I move out of my current one. BUT, it does not let me add my current address and then move it up to the primary address. It has my old address there. I contacted customer support (hmmm NO support)… Read more

who told me I have to delete all the addresses that are there and type them ALL again under my new current address! This is ridiculous. I should be able to add it then drag it to the top as my new "current primary" address.

They require a subscription to save data so that you can keep applying to rentals after 14 days. If just dealing with real estate agent wasn't tiring enough, now this scam application website. Their google reviews is all filled with fake reviews.

Clunky at the very best. Time consuming, confusing, counter productive, and highly NOT recommended to renters, owners and property managers. The outcome: any backlog of renters builds up more, owners lose income while confused agents scratch their heads because the app needs more info from already complete rental applicants.

We're continuously being told - don't share your personal information online. However, if you're looking for a rental property you're expected to upload highly sensitive personal information before you can even be CONSIDERED for a rental property. Some Real Estate Agents won't even let you view a rental property until you've uploaded 100 points… Read more

Absolute criminals trying to get you to subscribe so they can keep your details for more than 14 days. used to be a lot longer for free. Then they also want you to verify it's you even though applications have identification. Crooks trying to take advantage of people in need. of them the experience I have with 2apply. If we have to subscribe to all the different platforms different agents use, we'd be better off doing it the old fashioned way, filling out a form and avoid this nonsense.

Agents just need to allow realestate.com platform to accept all applications which many do already. snug and 2apply need to go in particular 2 apply. Hands down the worst of them all

This app tries to exploit people facing the housing crisis.. to keep your information it asks for fees.. it asks for $29 for you to be verified to owners.. but if you have 2 or 3 applicants. It asks them too. What a rip off!

The fact you are charging money to save our data, that takes extremely long to put in each part of your application I find really infuriating. A money making scam, that we as tenants have to pay you to hold our data, when you have made the application extremely tedious, by having each box separate to enter data into; plus the documents we are… Read more

already uploading have the information that we are entering separately anyway, extremely unnecessary and annoying. Most real estates do not even ask for that much information in separate boxes. I will try my bestest not to use your application and go directly to real estates if I can in future. I will be explaining to real estates, colleagues and friends about how hard, tedious and money making your application is and for them not to use it, until you re-evaluate how to make it more user-friendly and if you really want to charge money for this then advertise that, before starting. When applying with a real estate, we do not need to pay to apply. Absolute joke. Embarrassing for your company.
