Airport Taxi Perth

Just caught a cab from t1 to Redcliffe train station 2:30am Friday morning because I thought I’d help out a dying industry as there were people every where waiting for ride-share services and not a sole at the taxi rank. How wrong was I, the ride should have been 8.3 kilometres…the driver took the longest route possible and even argued with me when I confronted him about his choice of routes. There was no traffic to speak of. The fare came to $50.93. Ride share quotes had been $19-$24 depending on provider and vehicle type. The driver continued to argue with me, he had no reason as I had paid him his fare. He tried to stop me photographing his number plate and when I turned the camera on him he raised his hands to hide his face and jumped in and sped off. Taxi was from 18cabs and the supposed driver was if 139016. I doubt very much the driver belonged to this I’d? I say to everyone out there don’t feel sorry for this industry it is heading exactly where it should. Couldn’t happen quick enough for me now.
