Are these guys legitimate and reliable, I have seen the bad reviews for Wise, hence very cautious and now trying to find a more professional and easy alternative, such as AirWallex?? I only need a UK based account to be able to receive local GBP dividend payments and then transfer these to Australia when rates are good.
I use for US$ and YUAN from Australia so not sure UK > Australia but I have had no problems with them and their exchange rates are favourable. Getting money into the account is normal banks times but it shines when doing conversions, they are instant and when paying China it takes 2 hours not days. Seem the best out there in my opinion.
We have all of our funds locked out without any notice, explanation, or recourse! Just imagine. If you use this service, you will learn it the hard way! Absolutely hard way! And I am not alone! If you google airwallex reviews or airwallex freeze, you will see 3rd party review sites full of the same issue -- your account will get suspended and money will stay with them! Good luck. My suggestion is to avoid all similar services.
as I write this, there are 24 reviews up (including mine). All just one star, with 4 exceptions: the first three look fake; the other (by Hedley H.) looks as though he/she has forgotten to set the number of stars. Realistically their average rating is 1.0!! I've never seen any business with such bad reviews. I've seen the bad reviews for wise, but can only say my own experience with wise has been reasonably OK
