Ajitas Vege Deli Crisp

Terrible – Strong chemical taste and actually made my mouth feel a slight numbing sensation. Yuck! Over $9 for 10, 91/2 straight in the bin Show details
Tasty – Gently seasoned with a simple blend (salt, sugar, yeast, garlic), so the flavours of the individual with vegetables are not overwhelmed. Crisp and not overly greasy. They are obviously not a health food, but a nice alternative to potato chips. To the person asking about why they are expensive - potato’s are cheap, taro and purple/orange sweet potatoes cost more, so making crisp out of them cost more. Show details
Expeno - Vege – Why so expensive?? Because …. Of … The Production?? The Packaging?? Or because it says Vege - this means it’s healthy?? So price hike?! Answer please.
How it could be healthy if it looks like was drowned in oil!!! – Never had issue with this brand of chips before until noticed recently that they are made no longer made in Australia. Those chips were soaking with oil and literally shinning. Show details
Delicious but only the Indonesian ones – I'm addicted to these but I only like the ones that have are manufactured in Indonesia (check the back of the packet). The ones made in Thailand have different white potatoes send the seasoning isn't as nice. I avoid those ones like the plague. Show details
DAMN GOOD – I tried the "PURPLE SWEET POTATO Rosemary & Garlic AJITAS VEGES DELI CRISPS and they were GOOD they were DAMN GOOD!!...Thinly Sliced, Very Crispy like a potato chip, nice seasoning except I wish they were a bit more heavy handed with the seasoning...Four outta Five !! Show details
Great – I usually don’t like sweet potato but these chips are delicious. Definitely recommend giving them a try. On special quite regularly at Coles and Woolworths so get them when they’re half price! Show details
SO GOOD! – Hand's down, the most tasty crunchy flavorsome chips. A bit salty, but a strong underlying taste (good mix of sweet/savory). Very moreish, warning its easy to finish a whole pack. Unfortunately not cheap, so I only buy when half price at Woollies ($2.75 on special) Show details
Quite delicious! – Followed the recommendations and bought the Rosemary & Garlic flavor – they are so crunchy and morish! Lovely healthier alternative to standard potato chips. Got them for $2.50 (half price).
How is this healthy! – Bought two packets of vege chips and they’re full of seasoning and salty! How can they claim their chips to be “healthier” when the chips are white coated with salt and seasoning!!! Disgusting!
Love these deli chips – Delicious flavour a great crunch a really good alternative to normal chips Even my fussy daughter who loves normal chips loves these!!
Addictive – I am eating the Purple & Orange Sweet Potatoes + Taro. They taste good as a healthier alternative to chips. I find that I can easily eat a whole packet though. They would be better value if the packet was larger.
Delicious and perfect for those on restricted diets – The Rosemary and Garlic flavour are my favourite, very more-ish and delicious, and a perfect swap for less nutritious, allergen laden packet chips. The Original flavour aren't quite as flavoursome as the R&G, but as a replacement for those with restricted diets due to allergies or intolerances, these are a great alternative. delicious, allergen… Read more

Tasty Chips! – I recently tried Vege Deli Chips for the first time and was very impressed. I tried the Rosemary and Garlic flavour and found them to be a very flavoursome alternative to regular potato chips. As someone who is concerned about health I liked the fact they contain no gluten and almost no saturated fats. My kids really enjoyed them too. Taste, flavour, texture Packet hard to open, couldn't get to them quickly enough!
These are the single most terrible chip I have tasted in 30 years – Salty dusty mouthfuls of disappointment. When you look at that packaging, you instantly think, oh this looks promising, but you are then beaten down by the terrible bland flavour and overpowering amounts of salt. the crisps themselves are extremely thin, which may in turn be affecting the flavour, I've had similar dried vegetable products… Read more
which were chock full of flavour, Lusun group Mix Vegetable Chips for example.
the next thing is the hilarious list of things it doesn't have, gluten dairy, nut, etc, yet the nutritional breakdown shows these are severely bad for your health, I can only imagine that this product would taste much better without the wads of salt, and if they were cut thicker.
Very poor flavour and texture
