AL-KO HW3500 Classic

Quiet and efficient – We bought this pump to replace the previous Alko HW601 which gave 15 years of excellent service. It's used on a large rainwater tanks for general garden watering including with sprinkler heads. Installation was simple although I'm going to replace the plastic tap riser with a brass one as it's a bit unsteady with a double tap on the top but otherwise there isn't a thing to fault.

It's much quieter in operation than the old one and also has a considerably higher flow rate as well as having run-dry protection which the old one didn't.
