Pump lasted 6 months, Grundfos were no help – Paid $750 for a Grundfos cmb 3, thinking I was buying a quality pump. Within 6 months it was dead, as water had got into the electrics. Expensive mistake – After 2years of use, (2 person house, minimal use) the pump stopped working. Turns out a ‘catastrophic failure’ of the inverter board. Grundfos quote $1700 for a new board. The pump cost $1400 2 years ago. Called Grundfos to be told there is no chance of any warranty claim as the pump was ‘opened’ by someone not approved by them even though it was an emergency to try to maintain water to our house on a public holiday. BEEEST pumps – This is my 3rd Grundfos pump that I still have in operation. You can't kill them. One is 15years old and the other is 18 years old and still going strong. Good product- easy to install – Needed to replace an old pressure unit that had worn out. Quickly purchased a new Grundfos from the local Dealer and installed it easily. On final adjustment, however, the dip switch was very tight and broke - needs to be more robust. Show details

Great pump – Just replaced our 30 yr old Grundfos CH-4 pump on our household rain water tank supply with the Grundfos CMB SP 5-47. It was very similar in size, so changeover was easy, good to have the built in non return, Supplied with the PM2 controller, which is great with several pressure settings to choose from, and the auto shut down feature for dry running and anti cycling etc. Overall, very happy with its performance and pressure. Show details

Lifecycle – So after 15 years of having same pump on my house I finally lost her when asking too much and transferring water to pool I looked around spoke to a few and in the end the Grundfos was easy choice for replacemet, its what I would recommend.

Great pump, good fast pressure, easy to install – Awesome pressure, easy to setup with minimal plumbing experience. Connect the water to the inlet, connect the existing pipe from your old pump to the outlet and switch it on. The PM2 pressure manager is also easily adjustable just by taking the faceplate off. Excellent pump – This is an excellent pump. Recently renovated beach shack to become our home with new bathrooms on the first floor.
