ALDI Electric Ovens Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi, our oven turns on lights and fans work. Except for the oven won't heat up at all. The grill works. Just wont heat up the oven setting?
Sounds like the main element has gone, had this happen on another oven and it was not hard or expensive to get another and replace it. You need to remove the failed one first to get right replacement. Am assuming the Red thermostat controlled is turning on a d off.
Yes we experienced the same issues with our oven and replaced our element which I purchased from aldi. Now working again. Thanks
Afternoon, I have the Harbour 80 litre oven which I am happy with, however do have a question regarding the baking of Pavlovas. In older ovens when you cook Pavlova to required amount you then turn oven off and let it sit in the oven over night slowly cooling down and reducing cracking etc. However it seems that modern ovens have a cooling function that means when you turn oven of fan cools it down, negating ability to have pavlova sit in slowly reducing heat overnight. Does anyone have some ideas of how to get around this cooling down issue so pavlova could just slowly coole as oven cools overnight. Your thoughts, ideas would be most welcome. Regards Ali.
I have a power switch to mine and turn the power off so the fan turns off.
Thanks John Is that a function on one of the knobs on the oven or such as switch that turns total electricity to oven off. Thanks for assistance Ali

Where can I get a NEW Baking/Drip Tray to suit Model STR-APYRO oven?
Hi I have the stirling oven and each time there is a power outage the oven stops working. The led displays work but not oven even after putting it on manual etc. The last time power went down after 1 week the oven started to work. This last time power outage 2 weeks ago the oven will not work. Given the circuit breaker is not tripping and the led displays are working I don't know what else to do.

Hi, Did you get a solution to this problem? We have the same issue.
I had a similar problem with a St George oven. I just had to reset the clock after any power interruption and it would work again.
Oven was working reasonably for 3 years. Now burning edges of food, at all shelf positions. I cook a lot. An oven Thermometer says temperature is correct. Oven is still fairly clean. What could be the issue?

When I cook with the oven, steam escapes from the front at the top left as I am looking at it. A lot of steam. I have never seen this before on other wall mounted ovens. Is this normal?
Hi Tommi, Thanks for your inquiry. Please refer to page 23 of the instruction manual regarding condensation. Condensation: Roasting large chunks of meat may produce excessive steam and condensation forming at the oven door. This is quite normal and does not affect the operation of the oven. At the end of cooking, wipe the oven door thoroughly and take the roast out of the oven to rest.

how to replace side racks
Would anyone be dear enough to write me a step by step instructions on how to bake a cake with this oven? Preheat to 160 degrees Celsius and then bake for 40-45 minutes. I’m quite old and all this young people stuff is very hard to comprehend. I just want to make a delightful homemade cake for my granddaughters 4th birthday. Not like she’s going to remember it but still!
The control panel is suddenly not working on my oven. I was cooking a pizza and tried to press the timer button and the button just wouldn't push. It was working fine before so I'm very confused.
Please let me know how to fix this.
To bake one slice in the oven what setting is best to use? I was simply using fan forced but find it is burning around the edges with a heat setting of 160c when not quite cooked in the middle. Would appreciate some advice if possible - thank you.
After oven turned off the fan doesn't go off and stays on permenantly
The fan will not turn off after I use the oven, I have to turn it off at the fuse box to turn it off!
