9n sale at Aldi at the moment but if not check your local mower shop. Cheap stuff at Big W or Kmart.

If it's the actual line trimmer attachment look in the manual for the service phone number. They are very helpful.

Search primer bulb on eBay or Ali express you can get a 10pack for a few dollars,, easy as to change

Before I cut the side extension of the handle off, I am wondering what was the original purpose for it.

No worries, I cut it off and although the unit is still a heavy item, it is much easier to 'handle'.

The little extension piece is to make it easier while edging (holding the trimmer sideways)
