So why do my hearing aids or app not connect to Bluetooth, when Bluetooth tells me they are connected. Either the app is at fault or the hearing aids are faulty. PS, I purchased a new phone, which was an added expense to the cost of expensive hearing aids. Murray

Bad customer service by Amplifon Bondi Junction store! 1st start , the original agreement was served by Amplifon Bondi Junction store on May 2024. This Year in May we visited MacArthur NSW Amplifon store (booked via Amplifon websites for his annual hearing check up )previously known as Bay Audio in May 2025, we were told which their system still new and need to sign a form for transfer his file to their store so they can servicing us but we can still be serviced from any other Amplifon store as it’s under same company umbrella and someone call me right after next day to verifying our request of transfer and confirmed it with me , my husband still can go to any Amplifon store to get service. On Today, we went to Amplifon Bondi Junction and had very unpleasant customer service as the hearing aids device has slight problems due to unusual beeping sound even its had new battery been replaced . The young lady reception staff was able to check it out and only can changed the battery again for us but said out file is not active in their system as we requested it transferred to Bay Audio which branded by Amplifon , very confusing to us, when we request to get an audiologist check the device, the other lady called Elena was very unhelpful to ask us to get the documents started all over again if we need to get their audiologist service as my husband’s file no longer with Amplifon ! I believes it’s not customer problem and asked her to verifying with head office and she very blunt and rejected and she does not need to call head office and starting says I am a angry lady and pointing my finger to her ( not the middle one ha ha) and it’s same to her when she talk to us and does not want to talk to us and asked us to leave the store and we are not welcome at their store at all(Hoping that the store has CCTV to clarify it) which I was trying to asking her why it’s that the documents need to start all over again. This is happened between 9:30-10:00 in this morning 25/7/2025 and this is very terrible customer service and reject to resolve the situation! I don’t deserve to be asking out the store despite trying to get her attention to resolve it for us. I believed I can get better service from others hearing aids service provider and I will sharing my bad experience with all my friends circle :( , Now I have lodged a call feedback request via call centre 1800 676 149 and now looking for the manager in charge to respond my complaint and sharing my bad experience.
The ladies at Bay Audio they had to retest Mum’s hears and the reset and cleaned all her equipment for no charge and she had all her warranty still in place she did sign over to Bay Audio. The Taree Bay Audio has been wonderful and have offered to help mum with anything weekly no problem for them to help. They will just keep working with her until all is comfortably and working to her ability. With Amplifon stores: If service is bad in stores get area manager number and ring or better email them with complaints.

The incidents story had been explained on above and lodge a phone call complaint to the amplifon call centre 1800676149 on 25/7 as well. Still awaiting for someone to contact me , now a private email has been sent to your email this morning 31/7 as above , looking forward to hear from you soon.

Why are your hearing aids so expensive compared with other providers in Australia? Even with Govt subsidy and private health insurance, a Age pension Card and senior's card even the Smart level RIC aids still have a cost of $2689.70 to the client. The essential level are totally inappropriate for elderly seniors who deserve a quality hearing experience.
I would never use these people.. Just the amount of tv ads makes it more expensive and they pester innocent people to get a test.. I will be as deaf as apost and would never use them

Sorry I can't help you Bob. I don't use mine any more as they are pretty useless. Gone back to my old ones of a different brand.
